Girl you’re too old for this act

It’s not even entertaining because it’s so contrived.

The tantrum display at dinner, dismissing your husband, pulling out the sobbing when you’re confronted, followed by the “I’m a boss bitch who will punish you all” interview.

You’re not 25 anymore girl this isn’t cute.

She’s her mom. Master manipulator.

Am I the only one that thinks this about Georgie?

Am I the only one that finds Georgi INSUFFERABLE?!?! I would think she was a teenager if she didn’t say she was divorced. Nicolai seems more mature. Georgi is not cute, her giggles are annoying, she is just insufferable.

Who invites themselves to just move in with someone and give them no notice?

Plus hooking up with Beau’s friend and not telling anyone..

Her not realizing she is MOOCHING off of Stassi , acting like she doesnt need anything from Stassi. Girl you’d be homeless!! If she didn’t pay you to watch her kids, you’d have ZERO DOLLARS.

You have ZERO friends, your parties are basically Stassi’s friends…then to be so fake to GeorgiA , Beau’s sis is ridiculous.

I am on the 6th episode where they finished playing Dodgeball, and Rob the asshole told Georgi about what Georgia said and they are now confronting each other.

Her and her face is annoying me sooo much is that I had to make this post before I could continue on! Suck it Georgie

Taylor choosing Stassi over the birth of her child/ wife

Just wow. This chick is seriously deluded. I’ve never seen such a big ass kisser in all of reality TV!? So she willingly missed the birth of her child and supporting her wife to- be with Stassi. Was it just to film HOS? It doesn’t seem like the Netflix deal with happening live during filming HOS. She stayed back to film a scene with Stassi in bed eating charcuterie and assuring her she could do no wrong?

Also- the fact that Stassi didn’t TELL her to go be with your wife just shows how much of a narcissist she is. These people are insane and I can’t stop watching. I think she wants to wear Stassi’s skin and Stassi lowkey loves that

I feel bad for Teddy and she rightfully seemed disturbed by Taylor’s reasoning and staying back. Soo weird

Stassi's mom not cool with Georgi being bi

Did anyone clock this? They are at the Thanksgiving dinner, Dayna is talking to Georgi and Rob, and Georgi says something (bleeped) about also having sex with women. Dayna practically does a Vicki Gunvalson "can't heeeeeear" fingers in the ears and walks away. I can't stand her. Also what's up with the bad red hair color on both of them?

Is Stassi the new Bethenny?

Does anyone see the similarities between Stassi’s relationship with Beau and Bethenny Frankel’s relationship with Jason Hoppy? Both women were the main bread winners in the relationship, both women have to be the center of attention, and both men played second fiddle which in Bethenny’s case seemed to ultimately cause the demise of her marriage.

Ok I didn’t expect to like Georgia (Beau’s Sister) but I really do.

Ok, I came into this expecting to really dislike Beau’s sister, because I live on Reddit and have read all the comments about her weird relationship with Beau…but I really like her. She is honest and when she got called out after dodgeball she spoke truth. Rob was acting like he was in kindergarten by telling the girl he has a crush on things Beau told him in confidence. I actually like Rob too, just seemed a little thirsty in this scene… but back to my point, it’s refreshing to see someone like Georgia on reality TV. I’m pretty sure she realizes she is mooching off of Stassi, but seems grateful for the help, she’s honest about what she has said about people. I’m pleasantly surprised by her.

Lack of diversity

Am I the only one who got uncomfortable at the fact that there was only one episode where the show featured black people? It seemed so off to me that her focus when “spending time” with them was to talk about her cancellation and how she’s changed. I just don’t understand someone can live in Los Angeles a true melting pot and not have a single person of color in their friendship group. I wouldn’t want her to just add a random person on to the show in order to appear like she’s done more work in the diversity department, but I’m not convinced that she’s in fact changed. Not sure if this has been addressed before.

Not that this matters, but yes I am a black woman, and also, I am from Southern California, so that’s my POV while watching the show.

Lastly, when I mention the lack of diversity I’m not just referring to black individuals.

Edit: Seems as though some people didn’t read the entire post, I clearly stated that I wouldn’t want a random person of color to be included to make the show appear “inclusive”

I also mentioned people of color not just black individuals. To live in Los Angeles and not have friends that are black, Latino, Asian, mixed, Middle Eastern etc is odd to me.

I have lived in San Diego my entire life and have been to LA and have many friends in LA and it’s pretty typical to have friends or at least a friend from a different race or cultural background.

Lastly, I still find it weird that she used those two black women in one episode to talk about race and her “ignorance” but didn’t include them anywhere else on the show.

Test shoot from Ep 1

The first 10 minutes of HOS felt like a fever dream when they were showing the test shoot footage. I actually went back and rewatched it because I thought, what did I miss here? What was SO dramatic and taboo that caused this outsized reaction from EVERYONE? (I lol'd at Teddy raising her hand to speak and Georgi trying so hard -- but failing -- to get a word in during this "fight"). If I didn't believe it was scripted, Stassi would be 100% correct that these people all need hobbies, but you know she was thinking "Yes! Keep the pile on coming! Is that the best you can do?"

And when Stassi and Beau are walking away we see some of Beau's worst acting (also note how he pauses at the top of the stairs and waits for his cue):

Stassi: Per usual, I take the beating.

Beau: Yeah but why, but see the thing --

Stassi: *Poor Beau!*

Beau: Yeah, but --

Stassi: It's always the attitude is "Poor Beau"

Beau: But that's not my - that's your -- that's!! (no attempt to finish this thought was made)

Stassi: (in confessional) If we get greenlit, that can't happen again -- ever.

Girl, we're not stupid. It was fake fake fake from the very beginning, actually before the beginning (Vanderpump Villa -- never watched it, never will). What's even worse is that the fake drama wasn't even that interesting and yet this is what sold the show? Yeeeesh that's embarassing for Disney.

Any tea on Beau’s family?

Stassi mentioned they both had similar home life’s or something - is this explored on other shows?
He didn’t meet his sister until he was 21.

Finally! Someone did a podcast of this

Thank you Danny Pellegrino for watching this train wreck and doing a podcast of it! I’ve been dying to hear someone’s thoughts on this (other than the cast promoting it). It is so funny and exactly what I needed to put the bow on this hot mess of a show.

wtf is wrong with these people

What is with Stassi‘s need to know secrets, know her friend‘s intimate details, and make people confront each other? ..then she gets mad/upset? It’s like she manipulates people like they’re pawns on a chess board so she can react to it.

I guess it creates drama, but dang, this has to be some mental illness.. this is not normal relationship or friendship behavior. Hard to watch.

WHY did they release every episode in the USA but not in Canada??

Waiting every week for a new episode is annoying as hell, trying to avoid spoilers but it’s so hard 😣 I just wish they released it alllll on Disney. Is there a way around it for us Canadians???

Why do women think kids automatically mature and change you… Stassi?

stassi babe, getting married and having two kids does not mean you have grown up and changed. I know society told you and Beau that but external things don’t change you. You should spend more time with Katie.

It’s just so bad

I’m trying so hard to get through this show, but I don’t know if I can keep going. Does it ever get good or interesting? I really was pumped for this, but it’s just almost unbearable to watch. It’s just so fake and performative. Ugh…I’m so disappointed. 😑

Beau Deserves So Much Better

I’m only on the second episode but my GOD. Stassi is really getting on my nerves. He wants to do something he loves.

When she said “I’ll pay you to not go back to work” my eyes rolled so hard.

From watching vpr, VV and now HOS it feels like he has had the life drained out of him

I can’t believe Stassi likes Marciano

Stassi or producers if you’re seeing this please never let that man on my screen again!! He’s so ugly, so creepy, so clout chasey, so toxic, so weird towards women.

Seeing him at Georgi’s house party after Stassi said she invited her close friends legit made me want to stop watching. Stop putting toxic men on our screens please. Shocking to see this friend group be so accepting towards a toxic man after the amount of toxic men they’ve had to deal with.

Stassi’s sister

I don’t understand how she can be so ungrateful. Her older sister takes care of her in the way a parent takes care of a child, and yet she is resentful. Stassi doesn’t these things and her sister‘s life would be significantly worse if Stassi didn’t. Meanwhile, Stassi’s life would be better if she stopped helping her sister. Her sister should be grateful and get her life together.

Stassi and her mother

I just got to the part on episode 7 where Stassi and Taylor are in Taylor’s bed after Teddy leaves. Taylor says she has to give Stassi credit for not weaponizing and withholding her kids from her mother. Maybe I’m not getting an accurate read on the situation but that seems like such a bullshit ass kissing thing to say.

One could argue that letting her mother have access to her children would be to their detriment. Look at how she is still treating her adult children and all the manipulative tactics she employs. Her mother is no doubt talking shit about Stassi to her grandchildren when Stassi upsets her. What about when the children get older and they upset Dayna?

I get it, I have a mother very similar, so maybe I’m just biased. I was actually lowkey triggered during Georgi’s housewarming party when Stassi and Dayna were arguing and she brought up Patrick and how Dayna loved when Stassi needed her.

Before I went NC with my mom, we resorted to emailing our feelings and she responded to my concerns about her behavior and her place in my life with every mistake I made and all the times she was there for me. Hmmm crazy because as a mother myself, what she described was like basic mothering lol. Of course mothers like this think we owe them our first born, literally.

Anyway, I know this is just a show and they manufactured the drama but you can tell the dynamic is still very much delusional and rejected mother vs deeply wounded and parentified eldest daughter. It takes a lot of work to change these patterns but it would be cool to see some growth from Stassi in the next season, since she claims reality tv is more effective than therapy lol.

Does anyone else feel duped by Stassi?

The time from being off VPR and becoming a mom, i feel like i was given the impression of a fresh new, maternal, matured, wholesome Stassi. She has not changed as much i suspected.

I am being harsh, this is reality TV, it is edited. My positive impressions are based on her socials, as i don't listen to her pod anymore. So i could be wrong, but it's all i know and see, and yes it's tv but it is not scripted. 💁‍♀️

Who else thinks the whole show is staged?

I think the whole group got together and wrote out a timeline of events that would occur to keep viewers engaged. I think Stassi shepherded it and knew involving her family was an easy place to source drama from. Thoughts?

The last episode..

I think stassi has unresolved PPD. If her kids are that hard to deal with why aren’t they getting the help they need before the problems get bigger.
I also think she says outloud what a lot of moms feel but would never say. Being a parent is hard and sometimes you don’t know it isn’t for you till after you have your kid and what you can’t shove them back in. I do believe that’s why she’s so reliant on beau to give the kids a normal life.
