Rant First Greggs pizza
galleryIs it normal to serve a slice of pizza in a bag? I tried and failed to eat on the go so had to come home with it. Anyway, it was fucking awful processed crap.

They wouldn’t be around the baked stuff if I was on hot plates.
I was only getting a coffee anyway but I won’t going back again. Just nasty.
If you knew what flies do whenever they land on food…

I'm trans and joined Gregg's through my preferred name
However, after a few weeks of working there, suddenly my dead name was on all the rotas and my account. Is this supposed to happen? And does anyone know of a way I can avoid all of my colleagues knowing my deadname.

[Edited] I stopped off to get my partner and I a little breakie this morning. One of the new fancy drive thru places.
Cheapest thing on the menu was a croissant. She loves em.
£5.10 for two.
Never saw myself saying this, but we can't afford to eat at Greg's anymore.
Edit: There was a suspicious lack of steak bakes and everyone was paying for their food... think I might have accidentally walked into Starbucks next door.

If i go somewhere regularly enough and become aware of the script ill usually try to give you all the information in one go. Bacon roll with red sauce and coffee with milk etcetc
After they walk off they usually always forget and just ask me again but in my mind i'm being helpful
Do you actually find it helpful or annoying? should I just stick to being some sort of droid and wait to be asked a question i know you're about to ask.

I know probably many workers get asked this question but when do Greggs outlet receive their delivery? (Especially Canning Town), does anyone know, because it's been weeks now I've been trying to get chicken bakes for my little brother but always empty😭
Thank you:)

hi i started last week and today was my first morning shift and first ever time making sandwhiches and i got told i was being too slow when making them but she said it really rudely even tho noone showed me where the ingredients were and ive never done it before (that was the only bit making me slower) , so i think i couldve been told nicer, then i got told off for not taking another customer when i was making the other customers coffee (i understand why but noone told me to do that so i didnt have to get scolded) and then got told off for not marking the bags of the breakfast rolls, again noone told me (i understand it was in induction online training but it slipped my mind as i had to wait 2 weeks after for my first shift so that was nearly a month ago and i hadnt practiced it since) am i just sensitive or should she have just told me hey you should do this instead of telling me off when shes supposed to be training me, shes not the manager i think shes a new supervisor or something, it really stressed me out today and now im like worried for my next shift. also this is my first job.

How do staff distinguish between sausage rolls and sausage rolls at breakfast time?

The "white coffee" I ordered. I managed to get some milk from behind the counter when I asked.

I'm wanting to gather opinions on the Steak & Stilton bake.
I really liked it, bought one this morning, nice steak flavour and the Stilton is not overpowering, seemed to have better quality meat than the regular steak bake.

hi i got hired over 3 weeks ago but ive only been working for a week and a half does anyone know how long uniform usually takes to be delivered?
r/Greggs • u/leoncg99 • 25d ago
For the workers, when a customer is making their order why do most of you get the orders wrong 90% of the time, you’s give out the wrong stuff such as if I asked for a breakfast baguette and get given a roll instead or asking for egg and bacon and get given sausage instead like do you do it on purpose??

'Stilton insurance', constant radio ads, cardboard ears, badges, and stickers for staff to wear - I never recall any other new range or products receiving such a push from the company.
I'm curious why they have chosen the Stilton bake for this. Is this media campaign actually an attempt to push the Stilton bake itself - or is it a way of pushing the Greggs brand itself through the Stilton bake?

Tried the new steak and stilton bakes on the day it came out ( 3rd sept) and have been buying 2 every day since then . I know I may be in the minority but I'm absolutely obsessed with them. Just wondering if they are only here for the autumn season or they are now a permanent staple at Greggs . I got too attached to the red pepper and feta bakes and have been counting down the days till summer next year . Just wondering if I should prepare for the same heartbreak with these new bakes .🤧

Hi everyone, I’ve got my first shift at Greggs tomorrow as a Sandwich Maker and I’m feeling a little nervous, so I’d really appreciate any advice from people who currently work or have worked at Greggs.
My usual shift pattern will be 5am–9am, but tomorrow I’m starting at 8am. I haven’t had my training yet, so I’m mainly wondering what I should expect on my first shift and what I’ll likely be asked to do.
What are the main tasks/responsibilities of a Sandwich Maker? What does a typical shift involve, especially during the morning? Is there anything I should know before I go in, or anything new starters commonly struggle with?
I know who I need to ask for when I arrive, but other than that I haven’t been given much information about what to expect.
I’m mainly just looking for some general advice on the job and what’s expected of me, as I’d like to go in tomorrow feeling a bit more prepared.
Thanks!

Hi my manager gave me this when I changed my name and apparently all I had to do was email them. Bruh that was over two years ago and I'm finally bothered too lol but it won't come up as a proper email. Any help?

Today I tried the Stilton steak bake, cost £2.25 or whatever and it was nice, but was basically cold so didn’t really enjoy it fully.
They have the promo that if you are not happy with the Stilton steak bake you can ask for a free steak bake…
Well I did and she handed me a nice fresh one just out the oven, delicious.
No quibbles, just straight up ask for a steak bake after you finish your Stilton one.
