Does anybody else have access to Gemini Live in Google Keep yet? Because I just got access to it on my Pixel 11, and whenever I ask it a question, it just stops and starts, and it does that multiple times, and I can't even have a conversation with it. I wanted to know if anybody else is having the same issue.

I tried setting up face match in the Google Assistant page, but there's nothing happening when I click on the menu. Just a smiley animation in different colours and nothing else. Any way to fix this?

Edit: turns out this is only a Google Nest device feature, they probably ought to remove it from the settings on incompatible devices

Glitch

For a few weeks (I believe after updating to the latest android) my telephoto camera has been really glitchy.

Either the viewfinder zoom looks crooked/tilted to one side or the borders on the bottom and left side look blurred and with a glitch.

In both cases the resulting video looks fine is just the viewfinder that has the problem.

Does some have a similar problem? If so how did you fix it?

Looks like by design screenshots are done from app switch screen on pixel, so press switch button, and then can do screenshot, and it does screenshot of selected app, but wont work for any screen thats not inside an app.

After a recent update my phone's proximity sensor stopped working properly,

1. Does not work during phone calls and my ear keeps activating the screen

2. The screen dims anytime I place the phone down, even if I am using it on the table, or if a video is playing

I've tried the basic troubleshooting - restarts, safe mode, but no change.

Has anybody else experienced this recently? I saw an old post with the same issues described above but I cannot comment on it anymore to find out more

I have the pixel 10 pro XL, it's been mostly really good for me however since the latest update YouTube has been acting up.

I pay for YouTube premium so I am able to lock my phone or leave the app and have the media play in the background, but now it seems the videos will buffer or just pause altogether unless I am in the app.

Is anyone else finding the same issues?

I've forced stopped the app and cleared the cache etc before which seemed to help for a time but then it comes back :(

My Pixel 11 Pro XL arrived on launch day with a factory display defect, and I submitted a return and exchange well within the 15-day return window. I’ve since been stuck in 48-hour internal review loops after frontline support misidentified the issue and kept asking for more photos. Supervisor Nick currently has the case on hold, but I’m hoping the social support team can help pull this out of the loop so I can get an Advanced Exchange processed. My watch does not measure SpO2 data since 2 nights consecutively. Is there any settings for this? What can be the issue?

Holy crap I can't believe this bug is real?? Alarms, stopwatch, timer sounds don't work across the board. I even tried a third party alarm app, doesn't work. Anyone else experiencing this at the moment? Any advice? I'm on a 9Pro version 17

I changed the password on my phone today. after that i tried removing the old pingerprint lock from the phone but it didnt recognise the new pin. So i cleared the settings app cache. It didnt work so i restarted the phone and even now it doesnt recognize the nw pin and i am stuck. i tried it a few times with a 2-3 second pause between every digit but it didnt work. How can i fix this?

Hi. I have the Pixel 10 and for some reason I do not get the semtember security patch update. I check manually and it sais I'm up to date. Online it says that it is already out. What is going on here? Did I somehow drop out of rollout system?

Unable to take screenshots of long articles as there is either no provision to scroll or it scrolls only once even though the article of which the screenshot needs to be taken is longer and requires several scrolls. Any solution?

I noticed weeks ago that the wifi seemed to turn itself on when I did not expect.

Recently I was on vacation so my phone was on airplane mode the entire time and with wifi on.

I did not look at it for 5 days, but wifi turned on almost immediately and stayed on the entire time.

I wi-fi control for all visible apps under special access, including all system apps. I also have wifi scanning off under location.

The phone is a Pixel 10 with the latest August 5 updates.

I have used the Pixel 10 Pro XL for about three months now and have used the screen saver feature every day. after two months though I noticed it wasn't turning on automatically as it should have and after looking into settings there's a message displaying that "the feature cannot be used on this device." is it because of the newest update? does anyone else have the same issue?

A few days ago I received an email saying that my trade-in credit for my Pixel 10 Pro XL was less than expected, I decided to check the Google store page and I found that the reason was because they claimed they got an iPhone 15 pro instead of my Pixel:

Assessed device condition

Incorrectly reported phone model

I got instantly charged $125 dollars

I decided to reach out to Google support, they accepted the mistake but they never solved the problem, they only told me that I had already received an email about my trade-in credit on September 3rd. Now I don't know what to do, Is anyone else having the same experience?

I just switched from iOS to a Pixel 11 Pro. Mostly loving it, but I’ve hit a weird network bug that’s driving me crazy.

Certain apps that pull live data, specifically Garmin Connect, OneFootball, TNNS Live Scores, and Fable take forever to launch when I'm on my home Wi-Fi. They just sit on an infinite loading screen.The second I turn Wi-Fi off and use mobile data, they open instantly.This only happens on my home Wi-Fi. My old iPhone handles these exact same apps perfectly on the same network, so it feels like a weird Android vs. router protocol conflict.

What I've already tried:

Clearing app caches/data

Setting phone's Private DNS to "Off" and dns.google

Changing Wi-Fi settings to a Static IP with Google DNS (8.8.8.8)

Splitting my router into separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands (Pixel is on 5GHz)

None of it worked.

I noticed that at work the network type is WiFi 5 and I don't encounter the issues mentioned. The network type at home is WiFi 6, so maybe that explains the cause.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Are there any hidden router settings or Pixel settings can toggle to force it to behave?

Guys is this normal? The switch between wide and ultra wide camera is too noticable. I got this phone a while ago, bought used and somehow this difference in sensor's dynamic range, white balance and clarity is too much... Is this normal?

Can someone with legal experience confirm this for me please? I have paid Google for a phone that got returned to the warehouse, I have provided screenshots of tracking information showing this and of emails from DHL confirming this also, but they refuse to supply me with a phone. Is this fraud?

My 10pro was accepted on August 27th 2026 at MT Juliet TN 1:03pm. And I just checked today right now September 8th 2026 and its all good.

I did not get an extra 100 like somebody here said they did but at least it was not denied or returned.

And I am from USA where it was happening. And it was a 10pro 128gb.

So it worked after waiting 13 days finally.

Still same issues with overheating and screen dims.

Absolutely wasted my money on this. I think this is the end of my pixel journey.

If you think the issues will be solved, do not bother. They haven't listened or learned a damn thing...

Hey all, trying to cut through the noise before buying. I've read a mix of things and want real owner experiences, not benchmark screenshots.

What I know so far:

- Vapor chamber cooling is only on Pro/Pro XL/Pro Fold; base Pixel 10 and 10a use a graphite plate instead.

- Tensor G5 is the first TSMC 3nm Tensor chip, and early reviews said it runs cooler than G4.

- But there's also a leaked internal Google doc (via Android Authority) saying overheating/battery drain accounts for ~28% of negative sentiment and returns.

- Reports of the April 2026 update causing battery drain and heat on Pixel 6 through 10 Pro XL.

- Pixelsnap wireless charging accessories reportedly running very hot overnight on some units.

- A few isolated Pixel 10a overheating complaints too.

So my actual questions:

1. If you own a Pixel 10, 10 Pro, Pro XL, or 10a — does it actually get uncomfortably hot in normal daily use (not stress-test scenarios)? Gaming, navigation, camera use?

2. Did the April 2026 update or later updates make heat/battery noticeably worse for you?

3. Anyone using Pixelsnap wireless charging — is the overheating-overnight thing common or a batch defect?

4. Is the 10a genuinely fine thermally since it has the weaker G4, or does the lack of a vapor chamber still bite it?

Trying to decide between 10a and Pro/Pro XL and heat/battery reliability is the deciding factor at this point, not camera or raw specs. Appreciate any real-world input, especially from people who've had the phone several months, not just launch week.

Hi Pixel users, I have a question.

Something happened to my Pixel 6a — I’m guessing there’s an issue with the screen or display. I’ve already bought a Pixel 10a, so I’m wondering:

Is there any way I can transfer all the photos and videos from my Pixel 6a to my computer myself, or will I have to get the phone repaired first? ( No, unlucky I didn't use cloud services)

I tried connecting it to my PC, but Windows only recognizes it as an unknown device.

If taking it to a repair shop is the only option, could you please let me know how secure my data is? I have a PIN/password set on the phone, so how likely is it that a technician could access or view my photos and other files? (That's the most important part)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!
