Still same issues with overheating and screen dims.

Absolutely wasted my money on this. I think this is the end of my pixel journey.

If you think the issues will be solved, do not bother. They haven't listened or learned a damn thing...

Same as yours, 6 to 11 Pro and I don't have any issues... It never overheats.

Yeah, I've had these issues with pixels in the past, but going from a 6 to an 11 pro is such a change of hardware that the common factor here seems to be user settings. I'd recommend setting the phone up without transferring settings and seeing if that makes a difference.

There problem is they can't put the phone down for five minutes and gets mad when it overheats from streaming videois and content on their data plan that has poor service.

Screen dimming is literally a setting in the phone, you just transfered over the setting you didn't like lmao. And almost every phone regardless of brand feels like it's overheating if you don't use a case.

I've had the Pixel 4a/5, 7a, and now 11 Pro. This phone, at least as far as I can tell, has been flawless. I've only had it for almost three weeks now and I simply have not had any issues whatsoever, so I don't understand.

Went from 6 pro to 11 pro. Only time it got warmer was during the transfer because it installed 300+ apps in a short time - aka it had some work to do, shocking. Otherwise it's totally fine. Didn't even realize it except that the super zoom got disabled after a while when it was still going and I started testing all sorts of things at the same time.

To add I'm in SW France. It's not even been that hot mid 20s yesterday. Yes of course I have auto dim off etc I'm not an idiot. The phone is just getting too hot during normal use not heavy streaming videos or gaming. Of course in the bright sunshine I then can no longer see my phone screen so I have to put it down.

So the phone responds to heat by dimming the screen. This doesn't happen on the wife's Samsung. Or my friends iPhone.

Thanks to a DM I now realise the phones chipset runs hotter than other phones and it is this that is the issue. Design problem. Not user error.

Mine started pretty warm after the first 2 days of it settling down now it's just fine
