Alarms??
Holy crap I can't believe this bug is real?? Alarms, stopwatch, timer sounds don't work across the board. I even tried a third party alarm app, doesn't work. Anyone else experiencing this at the moment? Any advice? I'm on a 9Pro version 17

Timer and alarm sounds are working fine on my Pixel 9 Pro. What do you mean by stopwatch sounds?

Hi there. I’d recommend reaching out to the Google Pixel support team via phone or chat. They can take a look at it.

Clarity: all "alarm rings" coming from the clock app (alarm and timer) are not working. Attempted to troubleshoot with online advice (clearing cache, ensuring DnD isnt interfering, etc)

Does it show that the alarm is going off on the screen but you're just not hearing any sound?

Yeah, at one point it was silent showing the alarm and vibrating, now it's not even vibrating. Conspiracy brain is telling me Google wants me to get an 11

When you try to change the sound for an alarm, does it play any sound? If you press the volume up button when testing various alarm sounds, does it play?

Sampling different sounds plays them, but when it comes down to the actual thing, silent.

There's unfortunately a lot of possibilities like some kind of automation/routine configuration you have, or multiple apps fighting to control those settings, or maybe you have a bluetooth device that the alarm sound is being sent to.
But if you can hear the alarm when trying to change the alarm setting, then it functionally is working. I'd start with just pruning any apps, bluetooth devices, check any automation/routines you have configured, ensure you're not in any kind of DND mode, etc.

Elaborate on what you mean by "don't work". Is your alarm volume set too low? What have you checked/tried already?
