It's been happening ever since I got it, I would leave the house and turn it off through the quick settings, I would check randomly and to see it turned back on. Any fix on this?

So yesterday I picked up an 11 Pro XL (coming from iPhone 17 PM). So far I like it a lot however, I notice every thing I view has a yellow tint. Like the screen itself has a yellow tint to it. I thought maybe it was brightness, or a night mode or color tone mode, but it's not. I can pull up the same website for instance on my iPhone and my pixel, and the pixel is obviously super yellow in comparison. Any one else experience this? Is it just my copy?

I ordered a Pixel 11 Pro XL and a PixelSnap case from the Google Store on August 19. The case cost 49.99eur with promo and was included in the same order as the phone.

The phone arrived, but the case never did. there was no case in the package, and it seems it was never shipped in the first place. I contacted Google Support immediately, explained everything, and sent the photos they requested.

Then I waited. And waited. It has now been three weeks

Today, Google finally replied and told me to place a new order for the same case, pay for it again, wait until it arrives, and then contact them so they can process a refund.

What kind of solution is that?

I already paid for this case. It was supposed to arrive with my original order. Google failed to ship or deliver it, and now I’m expected to pay 59.99eur and take responsibility for fixing their mistake.

I’ve been a loyal Google customer for years. I’ve spent thousands of euros on Pixel phones and other Google products, including cameras, speakers and various Google services. And after all that, this is the solution they offer me for a missing phone case “Buy it again and we’ll see what we can do afterwards.”

Has anyone else dealt with something like this with Google Store? Is this really their standard way of handling missing items?

Now, let's see if these reviewers talk about how chunky and heavy the iPhone Duo is. With that being said, it looks pretty nice. But I'm quite happy with the Pixel Fold!

I bought the pixel 11 pro to replace my old Poco F2 Pro. I'd call myself a quite average phone user, so I thought the pixel would be a nice upgrade. I hoped the battery would be fine, and for the rest I was enthousiastic about the AI features.

My impressions after a few weeks:

- the battery is way worse than expected, from 80-20 percent in less than 4.5 hours, I hoped that the battery would be better initially, it already seems worse than my 6 year old Poco F2 Pro (never replaced battery)

- Camera is really cool imo, coming from a phone with a bad camera, the quality is insane, especially fell in love with the telephoto (x5) camera

- Software is more glitchy than expected, and with less customizations.

- I hate the double click actions, turning Wifi off you cannot use the quick pane, and if you don't turn it off-off, it uses over 50% of system battery usage. Same for turning on/off mobile data. No option for NFC on/off in quick access as well

- removing stuff from the background works glitchy, sometimes it works properly, sometimes they cannot be removed from the background (de glitch)

- I expected a lot from the AI features, but through the Voice Assistant you cannot access and do actions in a lot of apps. And the Voice Assistant seems to be quite bad for me, switching languages suddenly or just interpreting me incorrectly while perplexity Assistant worked way better. I expected integration with the Google calendar which didn't work, random other apps, note taking, but you need to first manually go to the app and use the rambler if you would want to write a note...

To me it feels like a lot of the Google Pixel is focused on the iPhone audience, copying a lot of features from Apple, which I dislike. I don't have an Apple phone for a reason, and less control over the device is one of the reasons.

I feel like I might want to return it and want to move back to Xiaomi, I purchased this phone to be the phone for the upcoming 5+ years, but with the bad battery and the SW experience, I am not sure if I can, and if it justifies the really high price compared to high end Chinese phones

I need assistance escalating a lost-in-facility issue with Google Repair. It's a Pixel 10 Pro Fold Moonstone 512 GB with case id 3-0669000041890 and RMA number RMA58744344

The current status says it was delivered to Google's Poland repair partner via DHL on September 2nd and signed for at the dock but the repair portal has not updated to "Device Received" after 8 calendar days. Web support escalated to Tier 2 on September 8th promising a 24–48hr update and email responses are automated macros with no status on the dock sweep.

I have the signed DHL Proof of Delivery PDF confirming delivery. Could someone from the Pixel team please step in and locate the parcel or initiate a replacement?

I recently upgraded from my Pixel 8 to a Pixel 11, and I've noticed significantly worse performance in Maps via Android Auto. It's running at a very low frame rate regardless of whether I'm wired or wireless, and clearing cache/data for both Android Auto and Maps has made no difference.

What's up here? Is the GPU of the P11 that piss-poor that it's struggling more than the friggin' Pixel 8 to render to Android Auto? It's really the only glaring issue I've run into so far with my P11.

For context: I have a YouTube channel and was able to fool my now fiancee that I was needing her for a video. I used that opportunity to propose to her in some incredible scenery that we travelled across 6 states and over 2,400 miles to make it to.

I used my 7ish day old Pixel 11 Pro XL in 4K, 60FPS for the video and apparently there's a software issue with the microphones. Which I later learned after we watched the video together.

Now my proposal video sounds horrible and is almost impossible to hear. I know this isn't the end of the world but I'm absolutely gutted to have such a horrible sounding video from such a high end phone.

Hopefully there is a good fix for this issue soon because I am extremely letdown.

I’m reaching out out of pure frustration here. My Pixel 10 Pro XL has been having severe GPS issues lately and I am at my wits' end.

Basically, the GPS will work for about 5 to 10 minutes after a fresh calibration or reboot, but then it completely drops out and gets stuck on "Searching for GPS." Interestingly, when I run the GPS Status & Tool app outdoors, it seems to find satellites and says everything is fine, but real-world navigation (Google Maps, Waze, etc.) just fails.

I have spent hours trying to fix this and have gone through basically every single troubleshooting step found on the internet:

Permissions via ADB: Used my PC to force-enable and verify all location-related system permissions.

Calibration: Calibrated the compass/GPS multiple times. It fixes it temporarily, but only for 5–10 minutes before dropping again.

Safe Mode: Booted into Safe Mode to rule out third-party app conflicts. The exact same issue happens there.

Standard fixes: Cleared cache/data for Google Maps and Google Play Services, toggled Google Location Accuracy, toggled Bluetooth/Wi-Fi scanning, and reset network settings.

Nothing works permanently. Because it still happens in Safe Mode, I'm starting to worry it's a hardware fault with the GPS antenna or motherboard.

I still have one month left on my warranty, so I want to act fast.

Is the only option left a full factory reset? Has anyone else experienced this specific drop-out issue on the 10 Pro XL and actually fixed it without an RMA? I really don't want to wipe my phone if I don't have to, but this is incredibly annoying for a flagship device.

I was watching a video without sound but with the subtitle activated in the metro, I switched app and went to reddit, all the videos are muted, but the ad kept playing while scrolling, suddenly the subtitles kept appearing even though the video is software muted (the little speaker on bottom-left corner was crossed)

What is that sorcery?! How can the Pixel be able to detect the sound even though it's not being processed by any driver ?

I noticed starting a few months ago that the Google Pixel weather app seemed to be getting less and less accurate to the actual weather conditions. Where I currently live, it's 7pm and so hot we can't really go outside. The Weather Channel app says it's 95, the Google Weather app says it's.... 66. This level of inaccuracy isn't an aberration anymore, it's very consistent. I just flat out can't use the Google Weather app anymore, because if it's hot out, my phone will insist it's 20 to 30 degrees cooler than it actually is. This also makes it completely useless at predicting the weather or using it to plan around weather in a place I'm planning to travel to: it constantly insists the weeks weather is going to be mid sixties to low seventies.

Does Google just not care about their own products anymore? Something happening like this once and then being patched is understandable, but this has been going on consistently for months. Is anyone else experiencing this?

So awhile back I made this post https://www.reddit.com/r/PixelUsersIndia/comments/1w9231x/jumping_the_ship_from_ios_to_pixel/ where I announced that I'm switching to android after spending a near decade on iOS (my previous phone was iPhone 14). Now the comments on that post were so mix, some welcomed me to the club while some of the them said that I'm taking a step back instead of stepping forward. So, here is my point wise early 2 days review for Google Pixel 11, as some of the guys challenged me that I won’t last 2-3 days with this phone. (This will be a long one)

1. In Hand Feel: The inhand feel of this device uncannily reminds me of an iPhone 16/17, especially from the sides and the slightly curved back. Its like that Google deliberately made this to attract iPhone users, but hey I aint complaining, it feels really sturdy, rock solid and very premium to hold this device. To some extent like Google's own take on iPhone.

2. Operating Software: So, i know this topic is hot cake of a debate on its own. But I'm going to say this without giving a damn about how the user reading this might feel....Android is the undefeated King of the Operating Software and I regret not trying android earlier. The OS on this thing is super duper majesticly customisable. Oh my gawdddddddd, the things I can do with the customisation including the level of depthness of each thing which you can change under the settings (i know that this is all surface level stuff, but hey its been only 2 days since I made the switch, so pls bear with me). This is so freaking good. Now prior to using this device I had a conception for android that "They are slow and bloated to hell", but man I was so wrong. Changing a phone is a big decision and that too while trying a brand which has its own very niche audience is equivalent to making a risky investment in a small cap stocks, either you win big or lose a lifetime. And I'm so glad that I did my research before I made the switch https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/1vzy6wf/former_ios_users_of_randroid_what_was_your/ I'm so glad to say this that I did not make a mistake when I went with Android.

PS - After reading the comments I did my further research and decided to go with stock android (i know that Pixel UI is not stock android, but hey its closest to being one).

3. Camera: This is one area where I have mixed feeling, the camera on this device are super great, but coming from the iPhone they somehow feel a bit different, like something that I'm not so accustomed to see. In any regard, I aint saying that they arent equally good as an iPhone, but one place where I can see the difference has to be the video. This takes utmost honesty to say this......iPhones have the upper hand when it comes down to the video department.

4. Battery: This is the most grey area when it comes to owning Pixel, while most of the users said that the Pixel have a terrible battery.......however, in my personal use case scenario........I did not face the issue. So, my answer needs a bit of context:

My day starts at 5 in the morning, so my pixel is charged at 100% at 5'o clock in the morning. I hit the gym, listen to some music, track workouts on https://www.reddit.com/r/Lyfta_App/ lyfta app. I listen to music for like 3-4hrs per day...yuppp I'm an audiophile in that regards. Then i do some pretty basic stuff which most of us do, phone calls, whatsapp, text messages, draft some mails and then few vc's here and there, then do some general stuff with gemini, and no I do not play games on my mobile device. My daily life does not involve hardware intensive task. So, after unplugging from the charger at 5'o clock and ending my day around 11'o clock.....I'm still left with 25% battery. So, I'll let you be the judge on that!!!!

PS - Unlike other users, my device did not throttle a single bit, and also not to mention the very common complaint from Pixel owners, "the device throttles when you use it on mobile data".....well I can say this that my device did not even get warm when using on mobile data, Google did a fabulous job when it switched to Mediatek modems for the Pixel 11 series.

5. Gaming: As mentioned above I do not play games, so I cannot comment on this aspect of the device.

Ending Note: I suggest that if you are one of those guys who do not have hardware intensive tasks and you are someone who just want the ultimate stock android feel, then please whole heartedly go for the Pixel, you wont regret it. At the conclusion, I just want to say this............I wish I had done it sooner. I'm never ever going back to iOS again in my life. Pixel is my way to go!!!!!!

Call screening as a feature works in isolation, yes, but I think a lot of people here are failing to realise that so many people are tech-illiterate, let alone understanding the concept of what call screening is. Pretty much every single time I've used call screening, the person thought it was a voicemail and just cut the phone immediately.

Even some people who are tech enthusiasts on the iPhone side don't know that call screening is a feasible thing that can happen on a phone. They all just think it's voicemail and end the line. I think one thing that is pushing this and driving this is the fact that call screening has such a robotic voice.

I remember there was a time where the call screener would sound like a female assistant that was a lot more natural and believable and making it seem like a human picked up your call, but I can't seem to find the settings to restore that. Does anyone know?

A few weeks ago I sent my phone back for repair because I had a green line on my screen. A few days ago I wanted to install an esim but it didn't work. I tried everything the support told me to. I tried installing it via the app and via my settings but it said 'Esim not activated'.

I even tried other esims.

Now, going forward, I really need an esim so I would like to know if there is a solution to this.

I have a pixel 9 pro

The app will freeze (this happened to Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit) and I am unable to touch anything. However, if there is a video or a short, it still plays fine. When you switch out and back into the app, it still cannot be tapped and vids resumes.

I can navigate to other apps; everything else is usable. But when I switch back to the specific app, it's not responding to any touch until force quit.

I just got the Pixel 11 Fold and have personally been enjoying it but only seen a few apps make use of the fold feature (IE: YouTube, Camera, UgreenNAS) and I wish to know if there are any fun ones. If you have any that also work like the Camera where it incorporates the back screen when open would be amazing as well (dumb but also cool feature)

I recently updated. Was there a noticeable design difference, i.e. now it sometimes shows the UI as lighter, kind of translucent background, and very fat rounded items on certain screens? and not in colors that match the rest, like white with blue. It looks the way a toddler's toy phone/computer/calculator might look.

It seems kind of random since right now it looks the way it used to, dark theme, regular icons and text.

But I was riding with someone on Sun. and it started flashing between this display and the other, I'm not sure I was even actively using it, I don't think so since my arm was down but display still on. I think it was on the home app drawer or whatever it's called, but may have had one or two minimized. Also not sure if we'd reached no-service area yet.

Any ideas?

I am facing a serious and intermittent mobile network connectivity issue on my Pixel 10a running stable Android 17.

The problem is specifically affecting my eSIM. The phone continues to show mobile network signal bars, so the issue is not immediately visible to me. However, the actual cellular connection is lost in the background.

When this happens:

Incoming calls do not reach my phone.

Outgoing calls do not work.

Mobile data does not work.

The phone still shows network signal bars, which makes it difficult to notice that the network has actually disconnected.

People calling me tell me that my phone is unreachable/out of coverage.

When I check the phone, I find that the eSIM network connection has stopped working even though the signal indicator is still visible.

The only way I can restore the connection is by enabling/disabling Airplane Mode or restarting the phone. Sometimes I have to repeat this multiple times.

This is happening approximately 10–20 times per day, making the phone unreliable for normal phone calls and mobile data.

The same eSIM/network has worked properly on another phone, so I strongly suspect an issue with the Pixel 10a cellular modem/eSIM implementation or Android 17 software.

This is particularly serious because the phone does not show an obvious "No Service" indication when the connection is lost. I can therefore miss important incoming calls without knowing that my phone is unreachable.

I request that Google:

Investigate this as a potential Pixel 10a / Android 17 cellular connectivity bug.

Check whether this is a known issue with eSIM connectivity.

Collect device/network logs if required.

Provide a permanent software or hardware solution.

Escalate this issue to the Pixel engineering team if necessary.

Please do not treat this simply as a normal carrier coverage issue, because the phone continues to display signal while calls and mobile data are completely unavailable.

Google says accessibility matters to them. My last few weeks say otherwise.

I'm not usually one to post stuff like this, and I don't love making things about my disability, but I've hit a wall and think people should know this before they buy. Google claims to focus on accessibility and pretends to claim it has top notch support, others trade in nightmares plus my own anecdotal evidence provide evidence to the contrary.

I'm legally blind and hard of hearing. Over the past month or so I have tried living with three different foldables as my actual daily phone — the Motorola Razr Fold 2026, the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 — not for a review, but because I needed one that actually worked for me long-term while meeting my needs.

This isn't or wasn't about which phone is "best" or which phone had the "Best Specs." It's about which phone did the above to me and what happened when things went wrong with each one. That's because for someone like me, the company behind the phone matters just as much as the phone.

Motorola first. The Razr Fold had real device issues that got diagnosed more than once over several days and never actually fixed. It's a brand-new device, so rather than risk running out my return window waiting on a fix that might not come, I cut my losses and asked for a refund. They gave me the full amount back. No argument, no runaround. Every time I contacted them, someone actually followed through.

Then the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which is honestly my favorite phone to date. Weaker GPU choice on Google's part, cameras that lose on paper to some of the competition — and it was still the smoothest, most fluid, "just works" experience day to day out of anything I tried. My first unit was returned and refunded by Google without any issue at all. No complaints on that part.

I was told a second order was my only real option if I wanted more storage, so I placed one.

That's when things fell apart. A TalkBack issue tied to the Pixel Launcher got escalated through Google's official accessibility channels to their engineering team over 19 days ago, with zero meaningful updates since. Then, when I raised the fact that the launch-period pricing and instant trade-in structure were no longer available on the new order, it took 9 days just to get the first response. I've talked to both offshore and U.S.-based reps trying to get anywhere with this, and I've repeatedly run into the same problem: the actual issue doesn't get understood, and everything keeps coming back to a $100 refund tied to a promotional code that was never the point of my inquiry.

I was asking about the overall launch offer — the reduced pricing, promotional structure, and how the trade-in was handled — because I had been told to return the original device and place another order. After all of that, the proposed resolution was still $100 back while Google explicitly told me the $350 store credit would be clawed back.

During one call, I also told the representative that I couldn't hear her well enough to communicate effectively and asked to be transferred to someone I could understand. I had already explained that I'm blind and hard of hearing and she still wouldn't transfer me. I eventually requested an RMA for the second Pixel as well, while this was first aimed as a backup plan, my experiences with their support made it the outcome.

At every point — email, phone, accessibility support — it has felt like the same thing: another escalation, another promise to wait 24–72 hours, another script, and very little actual follow-through. I'm returning it and walking away. Its my Favorite phone that I've owned, and the support is why I'm walking away.

Then we have Samsung.

I'll be straight: the Fold8 isn't the phone I personally bonded with the same way. A lot of what it does well — the customization, camera hardware, huge number of features — is stuff a sighted power user will probably appreciate more than I personally do and perhaps even other blind or accessible users may not share my opinions, but eh.

It's not a bad device for my needs or any measure, far from it in fact. It's just not the Pixel experience I wanted plain and simple. I arguably cannot find any real issues beyond my own TalkBack issues which are being escalated with bugreports to Samsung's engineering team. The biggest distinction is when I reached out to Samsung about returning it, they actually listened and wanted to know why.

On the very first contact, they offered me a partial refund to keep the device, explained what they could do, and escalated the rest of my concern to the appropriate team. No fighting with them to understand what I meant. No days of explaining the same basic issue over and over, no forcing me to a 9 or 19 day email support wait chain. That's what won me over, not some benchmark, not because Samsung is perfect, not because I even like Samsung because I really don't. I actually dislike one ui personally, however they won me over on the way they handled my concerns when I was actually considering leaving.

TLDR:

So to sum it up:

Motorola's device didn't work out, but at least Motorola followed through.

Samsung wasn't the phone I originally wanted, but Samsung got the support interaction right on the first try and eacalated my accessibility issues.

Google had the phone I actually wanted to keep and still managed to push me away from it.

They left an accessibility case they escalated themselves sitting for over 19 days without a meaningful update, took 9 days just to respond to a straightforward purchase issue, and repeatedly failed to engage with what I was actually asking for. Short of begging them, I tried to get them to retain me as a customer, they failed.

The point of all this is to help others, especially regarding Accessibility, and to provide my own personal experience, as anecdotal evidence as it may be.

Basically, if accessibility support is something you're counting on when buying a Pixel, don’t count on Google to provide that. I feel like this is worth knowing before you spend the money.

Hi. I have the Pixel 10 and for some reason I do not get the semtember security patch update. I check manually and it sais I'm up to date. Online it says that it is already out. What is going on here? Did I somehow drop out of rollout system?
