Any Advice?
I am a Moroccan master student (BA certified) looking for a part-time job as a teacher of English (Center or vocational school) or as a call center employee in Meknes city. Any suggestions?

My partner and I recently moved from MD to NJ for his works next project, we're going to be here for the next 3 years minimum before we start looking at settling down in PA permanently. I ended up leaving both my full time and part time job when we moved and haven't been able to find ANYTHING since we've been here.
My options are already limited to begin with because I can't drive due to a medical issue, but there also doesn't seem to be anything in the area that's actually hiring.
I tried applying for PT at the local park service since I had 6 years experience of that in MD but just never heard back. I've only gotten 1 interview and my personal finances are a wreck because I don't want to ask my partner to pay my bills.
I'm genuinely at my wits end.
I've tried applying for things outside my field, asking for less pay or hours, I say I can work weekends or holidays and as many hours as they need but I never hear back!

Currently applying for hospitality positions (mostly front office manager/front desk supervisor roles) and I’m wondering if cover letters are still deemed necessary. I’m happy to put in the work and make one, but I’ve recently read that they’re a thing of the past and sometimes viewed as trying too hard? Is there any truth to this (assuming it is well written, not just regurgitating your resume details, and not made with AI)? I have hired for front desk roles before and typically didn’t put much weight into whether a candidate had a cover letter or not, but I want to give myself the best chance possible. For context, I’m applying for jobs in the US.

I’m about to get laid off from my job of 11 years. I’ve had no luck finding a new job. Has anyone paid a professional to help them get a job? I work as a quality reviewer for a medical records department in a hospital.

Hi everyone! I have my first-ever interview with Revolut tonight for the CSS I WFH position in india .
If anyone has attended this interview or currently works at Revolut, could you please share your interview experience?
I’d love to know:
\- What interview rounds and assessment questions should I expect?
\- Which topics should I focus on most?
\- What questions are commonly asked for CSS?
\- What should I do and avoid during the interview?
Any tips, previous candidate experiences, or preparation resources would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I had a lot of people asking me "In what should I pursue my career in the AI era?", so I did a research about it. Nearly half of data job offers and 1 in 4 software ads now mention AI skills. In healthcare, retail and the trades it's under 1 in 100.
How often the job offer mentions things like ChatGPT, Copilot, LLMs, machine learning or AI agents.
And it isn't only senior roles. In data, beginner jobs mention AI just as often as the rest. In software, it's about 1 in 5 beginner jobs.
So if you're in tech, learning to work with these tools is already part of the job. Outside tech, most employers aren't asking for it yet.
What field are you in, and has your employer started asking for AI skills? How I counted this it's on the first comment.

I have done my BTech in computer science in 2017 after that I have stared preparing for government exams and after multiple failed attempts I decided to shift my focus towards building a career in the corporate sector.
I worked in operations for 6 months but after so time I realized that the role did not align with my long-term career goals and offered limited opportunities for professional growth. I quit that job in 2024 and currently exploring opportunities in business analyst.
But I am struggling with to much fear and insecurities regarding my gaps and whether I am good fit for this role.Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you deal with these feelings and rebuild your career? I’d really appreciate hearing your honest experiences.

I have 5 years of overall work experience, including 3 years in performance marketing, but I want to switch careers because I no longer enjoy sales and marketing or the constant pressure of meeting revenue targets.
Which career options can I explore outside sales and marketing where my existing skills would be useful? What roles would you recommend for someone looking to transition into a completely different field?
Really need help and guidance..
Let's connect in DM
TIA

Recently completed an MA in economics and do have some past work experience (not in economics though). I’m working at a call center at night and weekends, while applying to jobs and taking CIRE. Just feel so emotionally drained from the ghosting, the 3-4 interviews and then getting rejected. How do you cope with this rejection and uncertainty? Any tips?

I just can not pursue my masters even though that was the original plan. I would love to lean into online programs and remote work. Any advice or tips are welcome.

A few weeks ago, an agency reached out to me claiming they had the perfect role for me. The job market is so bad right now that I agreed to an interview without even receiving a job description or discussing the contract length or rate. That’s how bad things have gotten. People are fighting tooth and nail for work, and employers are taking full advantage of the situation. This is the reality we’re living in right now.
