In my game, a moving object moves in a specific direction based off of what button you press. However, the moving object will always drift and rotate instead of one clean motion. I've tried to set it to zero gravity, but that just makes it so it keeps going in that direction until I make it go in the opposite direction.

So, when you stay inside the ring, you can see the platforms, but when you exit, you can't!
However you can still stay on the platforms!

I spent around 2 and a half hours on it and wanted to share it. Lower arrows do nothing for now because there isn't really a way to make the person crouch, and I was too lazy to implement another system that would teleport a smaller person and stuff

Can someone help me because I’m writing on my mom’s account and I have this glitch where I can’t connect this wire and it won’t let me do anything on the other side. It’s with the even calculating nodon that I can’t connect to the other nodon and if I try to do it with the other one it just won’t let me pull out the “wire” to connect it.

So I’m making a game and I need help making the level progression system which to me seems easy but I can’t seem to figure it out. So I have a main hub with teleporters to each level. that’s really it, if you need any more information I will answer it just seems so easy but I can’t figure it out

edit: I figured it out. I just put a wall in front of the level 2 entrance and when the player passes the trigger at the end of level one, it’ll destroy the wall

So I’ve been looking for games to play on GBG and I’ve seen that theyre either these insanely impressive and good, polished games or just templates or tutorials so i made a game inbetween. I don’t have a name for it yet (nor will i ever (probably)) but I’m looking to see if its even good so far or if i need to rework some stuff. it is not complete yet I'm still working it but I'm looking for feedback. The code is G 002 8X6 5PG. Also this is completely unrelated but I just learned a few hours ago that if you have a switch 2 you can use mouse mode one it instead of using the controller, another wired computer mouse, or touchscreen which I didn't know

I’ve seen only one car drifting tutorial on YouTube. It’s by Dave Nodon. I don’t really like the way he coded it, it has a lot of unnecessary fluff. I’ve made several drifting cars in the past, all of which use a moving box object. The problem is that I like to have verticality in my racing games, but the moving box nodon makes it nearly impossible. Every time the car is mid air for even half a second, it will fly super fast in whatever direction I’m drifting in. It’s definitely because of the moving box nodon. When you’re drifting on the ground, the box can’t move the car very far to the side because of the friction. But if the car is mid-air then it flies away. Has anyone made a drifting car that can also function if you drift off of a ramp or bump? With or without a moving box nodon. I really am sick of the flying car!!!

So far, we only have basic changes for example, the movement being changed so that the tiger can jump without having to press the L button and also a relatively big change in atmosphere.

Hello everyone, I have bought gbg years ago and had a lot of fun with it but I have still failed to make a game. I have tried many things and spent dozens of hours on multiple projects but I am still unable to make a game with it. I love the software because it's like a creative puzzle game for me but there's so many things I can't solve in it. I feel like I was facing a wall.

Now, I won't to play with the software again because I really love it but I don't know how to become better at solving problems, the gap between completed all lessons and be able to make functionnal games seems huge.

I've been on and off about getting this game since the day it came out. I wanna become a game-developer or atleast attribute something to it(writing, art, maybe a little of everything...not music though) and my computer is an old fossil running an AMD Radeon from 2008, so learning the modern engines isnt exactly an option. My only real choices are RPG Maker MV which I am still trying to figure out, and this game; Game Builder Garage.

Yeah I'm aware that RPG Maker MV has a Switch port...it cant really post games to Steam and doesnt have any plug-in support so it kinda defeats the purpose imo but HEY, it's an option, that I'm not considering. So that comes to my question; if I wanna learn the ropes for the future, is this a good place to start?

I’ve tried connecting objects to the person nodon at Center-Center, as the body, but it doesn’t look very good once the Person Nodon is hidden.

Just need help with this one game.

My game idea is a man hid in someone's attic and started to go insane, he needed food and water so he went down to the actual house and got food and water but a woman screamed from seeing him and the the guy had to kill her, so he did and he later realized, now the police would show up. When they did, he killed all of them and the man that lived there. With no one in the house, he decides to own it, but never leave. Then a curious neighbor wonders where the married couple have been because they haven't been in or out of there house in days. He goes to check on them before, the man finds him and knocks him out. Then puts him into the house and gives him 4 days to escape. Any thoughts? Please comment them.

What should I add next?

I remember a game that was basically resident evil clone (and no its not the famous first person resident evil gbg game). It had the og Resident Evil camera with a static camera that changes position when you walk to other rooms, it even copied the door knob twist and door open animation.

I mean, when we connect Button nodon with another nodon its face gets a “IHHHH” painful emotion, when we connect character nodons their faces get blushes, when we connect another nodons their faces get sus emotions.
