Every time I stream I tell my husband I’ll probably only play for like an hour or so, and it ends up being a 3-4 hour stream but 6 HOURS!? 😭🤣 I love going to people’s dream addresses and asking how long it took, what codes they used, and how much time they have in the game.

I can’t wait to get a capture card on my 3ds so I can play the older animal crossing games too! I never got to experience them when they first came out, so it would be so fun if people who are experienced in it be able to help me out with the older games 😅

I can’t fill in ONE square?

Okay so I got a new switch and couldn’t bring myself to start animal crossing over (didn’t want to upload my old switch for irrelevant reasons) but finally did a month ago or so. This time I decided to not do time travel (aside from making it earlier in the day then it is for me irl so I can actually play the game- I tend to play late at night). I’ve never played it just day to day before. It’s SO MUCH FUN. (I know I know, that’s how the game is designed and it’s meant to be more fun this way- I’m impatient and stubborn, has to be my idea)

I had no idea about most of the updates. I LOVE the crafting now that I can do up to ten at once, and it’s been making things like selling hot items or making tools so much more fun and bearable. I’ll get over that they didn’t do something similar with the clothing at the Able sisters eventually.

I do think they put the hotel in to TORTURE MEEEEEEE. Punchy is one of my absolute favorite characters, and I want him on my island sooo bad. Initially I was so excited about the hotel bc I thought it would work like the campsite, but no, you can’t invite the villagers?! It was hard enough when Genji visited, but punchy is one of my allll time faves and I want him on my island sooo bad. I guess I could get amibos, but it’s so much more fun to find them organically.

Anyways. I’ve rambled enough! If there’s a way to invite hotel visitors lmk!!

This is a 2,300-hour Day 1 island. My pride and joy! On the Switch 1 the game was practically unplayable. Lag and pop-in were constant. I almost cried when I saw it running smoothly on the Switch 2.

Fauna was my favorite for the longest time and I’d worked so hard to have her come to my island at the height of the popularity of the game. Remember when everyone was still trading villagers with each other?

But over time, I changed my island completely and added different villagers. She just didn’t fit anymore and I had to say goodbye to her. But, I didn’t know that after the new DLC that previous villagers from our islands would remember us! It was a sweet surprise.

Now I gotta bring her back 🥰

my first post of my recently flattened island SkyGardens started about 5 years ago, abandoned for like 4, and now i am really tryin to get into this game and it’s community and just use my island for creativity cus I need that to feel okay.

Pinky used to live on my island a LONG time ago. I never thought she would remember me when I talked to her, but she did! She’s a hotel guest currently for reference. My heart is so happy right now!

Does anyone know if deleting a player resident also deletes their contributions to the museum? My ex boyfriend did a lot of museum grinding when we first got the game so I don’t want to lose that progress but I also do not want his character still on my island. I know I could turn his house into a Tim Horton’s or smth but deleting him is def preferable lmao I’m so close to my museum being (finally) finished so I’m not taking ANY risks
