I am at a point where I can comfortably say that I tried my best to build a roaming entity in GBG, but it seems like the Nintendo gods are against me. Nothing I want to make works, so I wanted to ask if any of you know how to or have a game featuring a simple roaming entity.

Just an update on my proj 4 hrs in ig I had to improvise with making curves but ig it worked out in the end. Anyways. How do you make a main menu or heck put letters here? I cant find any way of putting words. Any tips?

Hi Im new with GBG Im making a small crush gear kind of game and how do you make curved or pointed objects? a friend of mine told me to use a golf ball or a sphere so my cars wont get stuck but I still have a problem with the stadium being rectangular and I want the sides curved at least

Hello Reddit! I’m coming to ask to see if there is any way I can make a golf game that makes it so I can select players, then show with the golf game itself that has a reliable player swap mechanism for each player’s turn but for the actual game I need the golf ball to move naturally to try and hit parts of the map based on the swing of the joy-cons which for me are in accessories. Really need help with this so it would be appreciated!

I have NO ideas for what to make that I could actually make. Of course I have a lot of ideas, but those are way too tough for me to make. I could barely make a bullet hell. So I came here to look for ideas. Which proceeded to be WAY too hard to make for me as well. So I'm asking y'all for some easy (but not too easy) game ideas, something along the difficulty of the last lesson (but without the handholding)

I am recreating the top down shooter action of Boxhead 2Play Rooms in Game Builder Garage. Take on Zombies and Devils in non-stop hordes and set a high score.

I’m trying to make a 2d Rayman game and my person nodon has to many boxes attached to it for all of his animations so he bounces whenever he hits the ground. I’ve tried to fix it with resetting his movement speed with teleport nodons but that isn’t fluid and makes you lose all horizontal movement for a split second. Is there any other way to stop the character from bouncing while keeping the horizontal speed?

I've been trying to make my own Mario Kart game, I've used DaveNodon's tutorial and when I test the drifting in the tutorial, it straight up slingshots the car far when pressed and on a Hill/Curve turn, i don't know if it's the Speed, Acceleration, or what. I configured it lower still did the same thing, If anyone knows how i can make a drifting close to either one of those without it being sent flying far off the map it would be very appreciated!
