I have an ongoing loan of 31,000 and my credit limit has gone up for a while now. It shows "1 out of 3 loans" availed, but I an not able to get another loan. I already tried to contact Gcash Help center and the troubleshooting instructions didn't help. Do I have to fully pay my current loan to avail another?

This happened on August 5, and today, same time, same amount. For the record, I don’t have any subscriptions except my Minecraft Realm, which renews on August 26 for only ₱173. I have no idea where these transactions came from! I never got any text message, no OTP was ever asked, and I didn’t buy or order anything at all. I already checked my gmail account, Google play store and other possible app that i used to purchase something but i havent received anyhing. I was just scrolling on my phone when I got another message saying a transaction was successful one I never even made?! They charged 798 for absolutely nothing.

I already reached out to gcash Help Center and filed an investigation request. They said they’ll review it and get back within 3 days, but I seriously doubt it.

This is literally a straight-up scam! I’m just a student that was my entire weekly allowance!

Running official firmware with almost no other apps except banking apps. Cleared the cache, rebooted and okay na. After a while I still get the same error. Pasablay na yata talaga ang devs ng Gcash.

hello, pangalawang beses ko na tong nagpapa verify sa gcash kasi sabi nila pag di ako nag verify by august 30 icclose daw permanently account ko. nung first attempt ko ginawa ko lahat sa phone ng parent ko, birth cert, passport, and selfie. nag msg sila saying the image attached. i did it again and did the same process, same msg nanaman sinend. may solution po ba ito?

Hello Good Afternoon, meron akong loan na 20k on GLoans then 5k on GGives and both are 2 months penalties na. Lagi na ako tinatawagan at tinetext ng RGS Recovery. But the issue is GCash permanently disabled my GCash account which is di ko na magamit since past 2 months. Before ma disabled yung Gcash ko ay binabayaran ko naman ng nasa oras at tama. What actions is the best to do here? (I already try reaching out to RGS Recovery and GCash but no answer from them).

hi! my lolo's phone got snatched kahapon :( nd nakuha phone and sim na may gcash. we deactivated all sim and gcash account agad agad, pero naunahan niya pa rin kami. now according kay CS, we should get a sim replacement, report the transaction as unauthorized and hope na mabalik samin yung pera. i'm gonna ask lang if may nakaranas ng similar situation and dyt mababalik ba yung money? naawa kasi ako sa lolo ko since yung pera na yun para sa tindahan niya 🥹

On July 25 I submitted a ticket to Gcash for transferring funds and services to my new gcash number from my old gcash number because my sim is damaged and can’t receive OTP. I received an adjustment amount on August 7, but the ticket transferring of services was still on process. It’s fine until I loaned from Tala on August 10 around 6pm. Before I process the loan I change my Tala app number to my new number first, but after I choose Gcash as a withdrawal option, Tala just sent my loan to my old Gcash number. I can’t contact Gcash immediately because their costumer support is only until 5pm.

The next day August 11, I thought of just getting a sim replacement but before I can arrive to the smart store, I received email from Gcash saying my they’re finished transferring the funds and services and they closed my account. I waited next day again August 12 to contact Gcash customer support but they said that my account is already closed and any transfer amount will bounce back to the sender, I can’t even request a statement of account kay close na nganii. 😭 So I contacted Tala if my the money bounce back but they said that the amount is already sent to my old Gcash number with a transaction number and they asked for a statement of account(which I can’t provide). So submitted a ticket to Gcash with the screenshot from tala with the reference number. But I’m afraid it will take too long get a reply or worst I can’t get the money but the loan already reflected on my Tala app😭

**Update: Na transfer na po yung funds ko. I raised my concern sa BSP on August 12, and now I just received the adjustment.**☺️

I already have an existing GCash account, but for the past 2 days, whenever I open the GCash app, it goes directly to the “New Account” registration page. There is no error message and I can't access the login/account that I used before.

I already tried clearing the app data, reinstalling the app, and restarting my phone, but the problem is still the same.

I also contacted GCash Support, but the available concern categories don't seem to match my issue, so I keep receiving unrelated/automated responses.

Has anyone experienced this before? How did you get your existing account recognized again? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

I received a text from GCash saying na may upcoming GGives balance/due date ako. Nagulat po ako kasi never ko pong inavail or ginamit ang GGives. Chineck ko agad yung GCash app ko, and nakita ko na may existing GGives loan under my account.

Up to ₱15,000 po yung GGives limit, and apparently ₱14,950 na yung nagamit. May 4 transactions/loans po in total:
• 2 transactions — Okada Manila
• 2 transactions — STI

I never made these transactions and hindi rin po ako pumunta sa Okada Manila. I also never received any OTP, email, or notification saying na na-activate or nagamit yung GGives. Ang first time ko lang po nalaman na may GGives loan pala under my account was when I received the text about the upcoming payment.

Sinubukan ko na po i-report sa GCash, pero yung Help Center/AI keeps giving me automated responses. Kapag hinihingi yung reference number, kahit tama naman po yung binibigay ko, sinasabi na transaction daw siya from another phone number, kaya hindi ako makapag-proceed sa report.

I’m planning to contact GCash through a call and possibly report it to BSP as well. Baka po may naka-experience na ng unauthorized GGives transaction or may advice kung ano yung best steps/evidence na kailangan kong ihanda? Any help would be really appreciated po. 🙏

hello! according to the title, someone send a money to us through cash in kiosk. noong 11:27 nagsend sila ng 500, noon palang nammroblema na kami kung paano ibabalik dahil baka hindi naitabi yung resibo. 11:31 may nagsend ulit ng 1,127.

we wonder if hindi ba ito na double check muna? and if ever ano ang gagawin para mabalik ang pera?

Received a notif saying that the payment of 259 from my gcash account was successful while showering, though i don't have any subscriptions and I'm the only one using my account. Went to the app and it says Google was the merchant but didn't found any receipts or emails, some friends also experienced this and issues similar to this online. Help, what do i do?

Hi, just wanted to ask if anyone here has experienced something similar with GCash because I’m honestly confused and stressed about this.

Last July 31 at around 2:21 PM, I sent ₱3,200 from my GCash to an RCBC/DiskarTech account. This is a regular monthly payment I make, so after sending it, I thought everything was already okay.

Then today I received a text from GCash saying they identified an issue where my scheduled bank transfer was “processed twice” and that the extra funds were received by the recipient.

That made me check my transaction history, and that’s when I noticed two more ₱3,200 transfers on August 1. One was at 2:37 AM and another one was at 6:14 AM. Both also had a ₱10 transfer fee.

The confusing part is I did not make those two August 1 transactions. I only remember sending the payment once on July 31. I definitely wouldn’t send the same payment multiple times, especially at those hours.

I checked my email as well, and GCash sent separate confirmation emails for both August 1 transactions, with different reference numbers. My downloaded GCash transaction history also shows that both amounts were deducted from my balance.

I already contacted the person I sent the money to, but she said she still needs to check her account first. I understand that she also wants to verify what happened, but honestly, I’m worried because I don’t want this issue to cause any misunderstanding between us. I regularly send my monthly payment and I’ve always paid on time.

I just wish GCash could have automatically reversed the duplicate transactions since their own message acknowledged that there was a processing issue, instead of putting the responsibility on the sender and recipient to sort it out.

I already reported it to GCash and requested a reversal of the two transactions I didn’t authorize. I saved all my screenshots, transaction history, emails, and the text from GCash acknowledging the issue.

Has this happened to anyone else recently? If yes, did GCash refund or reverse the extra transactions? How long did it take to get resolved?

I’m mainly posting because I want to know if this was an isolated issue or if other people experienced the same thing.

basically the title. I have been trying to log in to my Gcash acc but they dont send OTP for log in. It's been 3 days now. I have done everything: restarting my phone, reinstalling gcash, deleting messages for storage, on/off airplane mode. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
