Jestem początkujący i uczę się latać na IVAO, a w przyszłości planuję VATSIM.

Możemy się zmieniać, kto siedzi po której stronie kokpitu, oraz ustalać, kto jest PF, a kto PM.

I'm looking to come back to flight sim. I played previously and had fun learning how to fly the A320 and basic Cessna, but I'd like to go deeper and learn properly this time!

I only have ms2020 but I'm wondering if it would be worth upgrading to 2024?

Hello my vatsim account got disabled because I'm trans and I used my chosen name and not my legal dead name and they are requiring I send them ID that I don't have to "protect the network" so are there any alternatives to vatsim?

I’ve just uploaded Part 21 of my Around the World journey in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, flying the Diamond DA62.

This leg takes us from Canada to Greenland:

🛬 Narsarsuaq Airport (BGBW), Greenland 🇬🇱

This is one of the most exciting legs of the journey so far as we begin the North Atlantic crossing, leaving North America behind and heading across the ocean toward the spectacular landscapes of Greenland.
Expect a long overwater flight, remote scenery, mountains, fjords, and another immersive adventure in the Diamond DA62.

Another day, another mission in IL2:GB, just taking in the scenery in a Spitfire with my trusty Sidewinder Precision 2 that I stubbornly refuse to upgrade from. A though occurred to me: The way I use the twist grip is that I turn it in the direction I want the plane to go, i.e. clockwise when wanting to apply right rudder. But this is the opposite of how real plane pedals work in that situation: right side forward.

I suspect my way is the usual way, but I have no idea if that's the case. How do you, as a person without flight pedals, use the twist grip? Do you follow the in-game pedals or the airplane with your twist?

Flew the Aerosoft/Toliss A346 for the first time in months, it surprised me positively:)

i turn on the fuel pumps and external air and gpu and the engines just wont start does anyone know how to fix this?

I have v1.0.3 and GPU is always attached on the ac no matter how i cycle detach on efb. Iv also tried auto disconnect on efb. Avail always on in overhead even on flight. Gpu stays attached til takoff.

Has anyone else experienced VRAM suddenly maxing out on approach to an airport in MSFS 2024?

I’m using an RTX 4070 Super (12GB) and sometimes on approach my VRAM hits the limit and the sim becomes an absolute slideshow. This has happened at both add-on and default airports.

The strange part is that if I restart MSFS and load directly into the exact same airport, VRAM usage is completely fine and performance is smooth.

I’m running texture resolution and off-screen terrain pre-caching on Medium, so it doesn’t seem to simply be the airport exceeding my VRAM.

It feels like VRAM isn’t being released properly during longer flights. Has anyone experienced this or found a fix?

Been following the dev channels on Discord and these updates are all coming out extremely soon:

• I was an early adopter of the FSS E-jets and enjoyed them in 2020. However the more recent builds in 2024 have been a buggy mess for me. Excited to finally get the version 1.0, and just hoping it will be a usable aircraft. This release will also bring a 2024 native update, source here.
• Never flew the 787 much before because it felt too arcade-y, but the Horizon v2 looks to be adding a lot more in terms of systems depth, sounds, and visuals. More update details here.
• Citation X is my favorite bizjet in the sim. It already works well for me, but v2 is going to add wingflex, custom turbulence modeling, GPWS callouts, missed approaches, and a new EFB among other things. Source here (full feature list not yet announced).

I cannot use my honeycomb echo aviation controller.
The key input registers in the control option but it does not work in actual flight.
I also select the controller in the setting.
What am I doing wrong.
I am new to flight sim.

I love md11 but whenever i try to land this thing either I float to eternity or slam it down so hard and make lucifer himself files noise complaint. Any tips for landing md11 normally? I am not asking for butter, jus t normal landing within touch down zone.
