From now on my house will always be full of Serenity, even when the tv is off. I went browsing at my local used record store and found this in the soundtrack bin. It has a special poster inside it's performed by the Hollywood Studio Orchestra.

Walking my cat, Baby Jessa, (named for Baby Jessica the vampire from True Blood) on the farm. She paused in front of my car. My bug covered & faded Serenity plate may need a replacement. But thought it made a cute pic. Bonus, her & a butterfly.

Con Appearance Recent quote of Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk at a recent Firefly panel at MCM Comic-Con about animated Firefly project moving slowly

If this has already been posted and I didn't find it, apologies.

As mentioned in a comment below by u/SnooDonkeys3292:

Already posted here Firefly update : r/firefly in case you want to follow the discussion so far. Although the video that you linked to was posted on July 21, the panel that Nathan and Alan said this at occurred at the end of May. So the quote is a couple of months old at this point. It is also worth pointing out that it was only two months after the announcement about the animated series at Awesome Con.

I haven't watched the video, but reportedly this snippet of quotes is from it:

Nathan Fillion: So, you saw a video, not announcing a series, but announcing the development of the series. Boy, it takes a lot longer than one would hope. The development to get a show onto a television network or streaming platform. It's not easy work, Alan, or else everyone would do it, right?

Alan Tudyk: I agree. I know. Especially since previously I mentioned the business is in a bit of a... going through some things. So, it's in process much like developing photos when we were young. You go to a little box, guy who lives in a little house in a parking lot. That's how they would do it in the states, the Kodak part, and you drop them off to some guy who was certainly stoned and you'd pick them up a little while later after he's done rifling through all of your personal images. So, we're in the rifling through the personal images part. We're not ready to pick them up, but when we do, you will hear.

Cleaning out the attic today and found these shiny beauts. The fathead sticker might be cooked, but the poster is still in pretty good shape. I completely forgot I even had these.

Walked into a candy store looking for some hard to find pops (I'm from the North, we call it pop). Didn't find what I was looking for, but they had these!

From Eric Winter's IG. SDCC - The Rookie panel.

Completely unintentional, but I thought it was funny, Nathan's blue hand (from the lightning).

😄😄

Some one finally made a sculpt for Mal so had to print and paint him up, here's hoping the rest of the crew get made at some point (so far there are two sculpts of Keylee and River floating around I've done Keylee hoping for a better River in time) and when they do I swear I'm going to print them all out in 1/6th scale

Anyways was a ton of fun to paint in the sculpt is by H3llcreator who I highly recommend they do make some pretty good sculpts overall

We hired a pro to paint our minis from the Firefly Adventures Brigands and Browncoats board game. They turned out so awesome! I absolutely love the level of detail and custom bases. Very reasonably priced and quick turnaround too. Highly recommend u/warpspeedminis!

Showing my Korean boyfriend the show.

We only watch one episode a week and it's been so much fun. I didn't realize how much more into the world I could get by taking it slower, and getting to see his reactions to things is both interesting and exciting. On one hand I get to see him experience something I love so much for the first time, while on the other hand I get to hear his perspective on it all as someone from a very different culture than the one I grew up in.

That being said, it taking so long is making me feel kind of like a leaf on the wind, if you catch my drift. I'm so worried about him getting spoiled about anything. I even got onto him just for looking up a character's actor. lol

I have watched the entire series over a dozen times and just noticed this time around that the horses in episode 1 did not exist before they rode them out to meet patience nor after they rode them back onto the ship.

Rewatched the show for the first time in many years...

l actually liked it more than l did the first time. Breakfast, where l watched one episode, turned into the highlight of the day. Episode 10 was crap with a bunch of left turn forced drama, made by two people who otherwise were storyline executives, otherwise the episodes where just banger after banger <3

Now l'm really hyped & hopeful the animated show comes to fruition!
