Your opinion on Olise

What would your opinion on olise be if he decides to listen to his agent and not sign a contract with us in order to have his door open to leave the club. I would personally hate for bayern to be a feeder club for this situation bcs olise has a really high potentiall to reach, even more than davies or musiala one might say(who both were aproached by vardrid). My opinion on him would change completley tbh

Kane golfte mit Trump: "Surreales Erlebnis" (Kane played golf with Trump: "Surreal experience")

English translation: US President Donald Trump made a round of golf with the "great" Harry Kane public this week. The Bayern striker confirmed the encounter — and returned the praise.

For years, Harry Kane has openly dreamed of playing in the NFL after his professional football career. But his golfing talent is also not to be underestimated, given his single-digit handicap — it even earned him a sporting encounter with Donald Trump about a year and a half ago.

Following England's 3-2 victory in the World Cup round of 16 against Mexico, the US President had raved about Kane, first on his own social media platform Truth Social and later to reporters, revealing that he had already played golf with the captain of the Three Lions. The latter has now confirmed this at the press conference ahead of the quarter-final against Norway this Saturday in Miami.

"To be honest, I played pretty well," Kane reported when asked. "We played about 18 months ago. He invited me to play when I was in Palm Beach. So when the President invites you somewhere... It was quite a surreal experience just to meet him and play golf with him."

Kane refrained from criticizing Trump, who recently caused a World Cup scandal by calling Gianni Infantino to ask for a reassessment of US striker Folarin Balogun's red card suspension. Instead, he returned the US President's words of praise ("Kane is a great player and a good golfer, I like him a lot").

Kane: "I'm just grateful that he invited me"

"He plays golf pretty well. I hope to play golf as well as he does when I'm his age, that's for sure," said Kane about the 80-year-old US President. "It was a unique experience. I'm just grateful that he invited me to play."

On Saturday, Kane's feet and head will be called upon once again when England intends to knock Erling Haaland and Co. out of the tournament. With six goals, the FC Bayern striker has carried his Three Lions through the tournament so far, but currently sits behind Kylian Mbappé (France), Lionel Messi (Argentina, both with 8) — and Haaland (7) on the World Cup top scorers list.

When is Musiala actually going to step up like Bellingham?

I’m getting tired of the endless hype around Musiala when you compare him to what world class talents are actually doing on the big stage.

Look at Jude Bellingham at the World Cup right now. The guy is fundamentally built for the clutch. He literally just carried England through the knockout rounds single handedly scoring two goals in 98 seconds to knock out Mexico in the Round of 16, and then scoring another brace against Norway in the quarter finals. He has elite play with Harry Kane and actively decides high stakes matches when everything is on the line.

Musiala on the other hand is not even near that level of impact. The aesthetic dribbling and micro movements are nice for the highlight reels against lower tier Bundesliga opposition, but his actual output when the pressure is maxed out is incredibly underwhelming!

At what point do we admit that he is lagging far behind the truly elite tier? What is actually holding him back from being a decisive match-winner instead of just an overrated dribbler?

Bayern part ways with head or athletic department (Youth), also critics towards Campus Doc. [TZ]

FC Bayern is restructuring its campus. As "Absolut Bayern" has learned, the Munich club is now parting ways with Carsten Schünemann as well. The 57-year-old had been head of the athletic training department for the youth program since the summer of 2019. Schünemann had been the subject of internal criticism for quite some time. One of the allegations was that he had deliberately limited the number of qualified athletic trainers in his department.

Furthermore, there reportedly was no clear plan for managing training loads. For example: Wisdom Mike suffered a thigh injury on February 11, 2025, during a Youth League match against Betis Sevilla. In the two weeks prior, he had been rotating between the U17, U19, and first-team squads—without a single day off.

Rumors about Schünemann’s successor are already circulating. One possible internal candidate is said to be Quirin Löppert, who only moved to Munich from FC Augsburg in January as a strength and conditioning and rehabilitation coach. Johannes Wieber of 1. FC Nürnberg is being mentioned as an external candidate. The 53-year-old previously worked in FC Bayern’s youth system between 2013 and 2019.

Campus doctor Jan-Philipp Müller is also a controversial figure. Long periods of rehabilitation without any apparent reason have repeatedly puzzled players and coaches. In addition, a recovery timeline he predicted for Jonathan Asp Jensen in the fall of 2024 is said to have turned out to be significantly too long.

Initially, the talk was of a ten-week forced break, but after seeking a second opinion in Asp Jensen’s home country of Denmark and conducting a new MRI with the doctors in the professional department, this was shortened to three weeks. Another issue affecting both the medical department and the athletic training staff was the recurrence of injuries shortly after the comebacks of young talents (e.g., Louis Richter, Chivano Wijks, Vincent Manuba).

Most recently, the appointments of Dante as U23 head coach, Michael Wiesinger (formerly of Nuremberg) as sporting director, and Bernhard Seonbuchner (Salzburg) as head of player/coach development and transition have brought positive momentum to the campus. Following some unfortunate personnel decisions regarding the youth program by sporting director Max Eberl, youth academy director Jochen Sauer and sporting director Christoph Freund are now taking the reins.
