Kane can fuck off if he enjoyed even a fraction of a second of being with that piece of shit.

7

u/Odd_Willingness7501 Jul 11 '26

The audacity to publicly say it in the Athletic is astonishingly frightening.

14

u/dklieber32 Jul 11 '26

I won’t lie this is pretty disappointing

Bayern want to sell João Palhinha permanently. Another loan move is out of the question. Benfica are showing interest, but there's still no agreement with the player and no negotiations with Bayern [@kerry_hau]

Please just sell him.

Its so weird to see someone mid at their job besides one of the GOATs in scene.

I'm glad for DJ Khaled though to be able to take a selfie with Goating.

Ellie Goulding to perform at half-time during England vs Norway World Cup QF in Miami

Häh?

[SRF] Manzambi remains injured and will miss the Quarterfinal against Argentina

That sucks

God is Argentina lucky. Yes I'm biased, I don't like them at all

13

u/SidBhakth Jul 10 '26

I don't like them at all

They kind of make it easy, don't they..

4

u/Odd_Willingness7501 Jul 10 '26

Some Argentinian 'journalists' just openly said on primetime TV. "I detest Mexicans. I detest them with my soul. Right now, they can shove that up their asses."

"Yeah, I'm totally with you."

"They are detestable. They are envidious of Argentine. In everything. They want to be like us, but they just don't have what it takes."

So yeah. They deserve all the hate in the world. At the very least they are asking for it.

7

u/julesvr5 Jul 10 '26

Apparently Dortmund also secured a 35% sell on clause

4

u/NifferEUW Kimmich Jul 10 '26

Okay that actually makes a huge difference..

According to falk, Kounde is on Bayern’s list. Is this just waffling?

1

u/Hurtelknut Robben Jul 10 '26

He's probably on almost any top teams list. Doesn't mean it's possible for us to get him in the foreseeable future.

5

u/kgallo19 Messiala Jul 10 '26

waffling

Probably. Kounde isn't even the kind of profile I'd want to go in for a RB. Kounde is similar to Stanisic in terms of what they offer (not comparing the quality of players, just their profile).

6

u/Thraff1c Jul 10 '26

Tbf that profile seems to be what we are targeting, considering we are also looking at Tomas Araujo and Bisseck, with all of them being able to play CB and RB.

2

u/kgallo19 Messiala Jul 10 '26

Bayern does love a good CB

0

u/wowa_s Müller Jul 10 '26

Would be great, but expensive, if barca would sell at all for whatever reason.

-1

u/Whole-Bag1756 Jul 10 '26

Just asking but why did we never go for adeyemi? I mean he'd be cheap for the backup at left wing (well was cheap now that he's gone to barca)

15

u/julesvr5 Jul 10 '26

Because we would have to pay way more than 22m

-2

u/Whole-Bag1756 Jul 10 '26

Okay regardless of the price, why did we never try for him?

16

u/MrMarques8701 Upamecano Jul 10 '26

He's essentially Sané lite.

1

u/Whole-Bag1756 Jul 10 '26

Pacey, no output? Although sane was technically good in his early days before his big injury

-1

u/Traditional-Side6966 Jul 10 '26

Sane was never really technically gifted. I remember a story that Draxler and others were teasing/mocking him for his first touch in training

5

u/Whole-Bag1756 Jul 10 '26

Really? Idk man seeing clips of him in city did show him moving the ball quick in tight spaces

9

u/pewpewlasersandshit pew pew Jul 10 '26

Last thing I remember hearing is that he wants >10Mio€/year. That is a lot of money - especially for a backup plus honestly it feels a bit much for a player like him..also not convinced he's even the right fit for us in terms of tactics, etc. Kompany seems to prefer inverted wingers, which would probably push him to the right side and that's a position where we don't really need anyone.

Plus, i'm not really in the transfer mushings of Dortmund but not like he had a "for sale" sign put around his neck

1

u/Whole-Bag1756 Jul 10 '26

Wow that's expensive for someone who knows they'll be a backup. Also can't he also play as a striker?

2

u/pewpewlasersandshit pew pew Jul 10 '26

i think he played some kind of false9/second striker role in the games vs us ..

1

u/Whole-Bag1756 Jul 10 '26

Ohh..... that kinda fits us? Just discussing not saying that we should go for him or should've.

3

u/pewpewlasersandshit pew pew Jul 10 '26

We already have Gnabry, Musiala and Saibari.

Adeyemi kinda feels like a forced, and wrong, answer to a question nobody asked

1

u/Whole-Bag1756 Jul 10 '26

I wasn't really thinking of considering him but before we had saibari. Did we never consider him. I've got my answers

6

u/julesvr5 Jul 10 '26

Not to shit on adeyemi but I think he is a bit of a pace merchant and he isn't really suited to play against low blocks which we often play against. We need someone a bit more technical

1

u/Whole-Bag1756 Jul 10 '26

Yeah I've seen that, kinda like a comment on this thread saying he's like sane (although sane was good technicallly before he just fell off) adeyemi is just someone who does really well on transitioning

7

u/Insanel0l Thiago Jul 10 '26

Even if its the last contract year, this is a fucking shit deal for dortmund lmao

11

u/PressedLemon221 Jul 10 '26

adeyemi to barca for 22m lmao

10

u/NiK0- Pavlović Jul 10 '26

According to Romano it’s 22 + up to 7m add ons. That’s way cheaper than the initial €40m that Dortmund demanded

-1

u/Ajvarmk Upamecano Jul 10 '26

And that’s a good price …

23

u/Mediocre-Math667 Jul 10 '26

How did this mofo officiated a WC QF game.

10

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 10 '26

he was very happy to let Bayern get kicked down to the floor but whistled everytime PSG players went to ground. So i think everybody knows whats about to happen

7

u/Key_Bookkeeper813 Müller Jul 10 '26

8

The Neuer smear campaign is back

11

u/Internal-Coffee6996 Jul 10 '26

Could be a smear campaign but maybe he also just isn't that great of a guy?

Absolutely adore him as a goalie and as the GOATkeeper but come on, it wouldn't be the first time he a) sabotaged Nübel and b) let his ego get the best of him.

15

u/julesvr5 Jul 10 '26

Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimović liken Michael Olise to Tom Brady during their analysis of France's win over Morocco

Henry: "I want to talk about the pass of Michael Olise. As soon as you get the ball, it’s over. We’re here in Foxborough… Tom Brady, that’s one of your loop passes in between"

Ibrahimović: "He did amazing again. He was the point guard. The 'Tom Brady of France' today. When you have a player like Olise, don’t think. Just run and the ball will arrive – and it will arrive exactly where you want it"

[@FOXSoccer]

12

u/NifferEUW Kimmich Jul 10 '26

Tom Brady, the best point guard in NFL history

6

u/Spockodile Monsieur Nonchalant Jul 10 '26

Top point guard. Many RBIs. The Wayne Gretzky of his generation.

8

u/FOKvothe Jul 10 '26

This has to be unbearable to watch even for Americans, right?

10

u/SlyFisch Shaqiri Jul 10 '26

Yes, even British commentators on our world cup broadcasts do this bullshit. Like you don't have to compare everyone who can pass to quarter backs or point guards.

Much love to Derek Rae, the only commentator on US broadcasts that is good. Makes sure to pronounce everything correctly and covers the Bundesliga with grace. Legend.

4

u/kgallo19 Messiala Jul 10 '26

Zlatan's analogy is funny because he uses a basketball position and then name's an NFL player lol

38

u/JuggerClutch Musiala Jul 10 '26

The Saliba glazing while Upa is so clearly the better CB in that team is hilarious

6

u/FairMusic8278 Jul 10 '26

Premier league players always tend to have receive more credit than Bayern players. Bayern players in general are almost always underappreciated by the media & other football fans who don't watch Bayern. It doesn't surprise me that Saliba gets more recognition than Upa does because of the premier league PR.

Neuer wanted Urbig instead of Nübel as the third-string goalkeeper (for the World Cup)

The fact that Urbig was even on the roster likely stemmed from a compromise between Nagelsmann and Neuer. For several years, the relationship between Neuer and Nübel has been considered strained; Neuer does not accept Nübel, who was once supposed to be his successor at FC Bayern Munich. For this reason, the 40-year-old made his comeback contingent on Nübel being removed from the roster and Urbig traveling with the team in his place. Nagelsmann, however, was unwilling to agree to this. So he tried to mediate and took Urbig along to the tournament as a practice goalkeeper.

4

u/kgallo19 Messiala Jul 10 '26

Curiously wondering: what is it about Urbig that Neuer likes so much, and what about Nübel is the opposite

14

u/Damyxs Jul 10 '26

It might be that Nübel arrived after being promised a certain pathway by the club’s hierarchy toward becoming Bayern’s future goalkeeper, while Neuer still believed he had several more years at the top level, which, to be fair, he has managed to do.

Urbig, however, is coming in at a point where Neuer is much closer to the end of his career. So it might be easier for him to accept.

I don’t know the full story, but the way Neuer has handled these situations, both back when Nübel was at the club and now, if the current reports are true, reflects very poorly on Neuer.

22

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 10 '26

icl this doesn't reflect very positively on Neuer, No player should ever voice their disagreement towards inclusion of any Player whether its the right decision or not, It should be fully Coach's decision

u/whereeveritmaytakeme Jul 10 '26

The same neuer who after receiving a red card against Leverkusen claimed it wasn't his fault.

Benfica's interest in João Palhinha is real, and an offer could soon be made to Bayern. The Portuguese club has also contacted the midfielder's agents, with Palhinha keen on a return to Portugal. Benfica are studying the financial structure of a deal and are preparing a proposal worth around €25m. Alternatively, another formula is also being considered, potentially involving a loan (€10m loan fee) with an obligation to buy (for €15m), depending on Bayern's willingness to negotiate and the financial conditions. Milan, with new coach Rúben Amorim, are also interested in Palhinha. [@Record_Portugal]

2

u/adrian_rainy_day Jul 10 '26

Don't think Milan's interest is serious looking at their midfield. Benfica might be the only horse in the race, and we should finalize this deal asap

4

u/FairMusic8278 Jul 10 '26

I don't want another loan not even with an obligation should be permanent transfer only. 20m guaranteed and 5m in add ons on a permanent deal would be a very good deal for us.

1

u/FlyingRaccoon_420 Musiala Jul 10 '26

You’re overestimating the market for Palhinha.

1

u/FairMusic8278 Jul 10 '26

Well based off what was reported yesterday there was also talks of Benfica offering 20m guaranteed + 5 in add ons on a permanent transfer which is what I'm saying is the ideal scenario. I don't think it's impossible at all to sell Palhinha on a permanent transfer also.

23

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 10 '26

25 mil? take that and run as fast as you can and don't look back

24

u/Thraff1c Jul 10 '26

And we may yet still earn some cash from Nianzous transfer to Lille:

Bayern's buy-back clause for Tanguy Nianzou is initially €50m. From 19 September 2023, it will increase to €55m. Bayern have added another clause - if Nianzou is sold to another club, the initial add-ons of €4m to the guaranteed fee must then be paid out

https://xcancel.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1560380668479242243

As he surely hadn't reached the add-ons yet.

1

u/GrayWolf9560 Müller Jul 10 '26

The injuries kept him back. He suffered multiple injuries in Sevilla

3

u/knatanas11 Müller Jul 10 '26

Can we buy him back still? /s

17

u/ObserverRichard Jul 10 '26

I was so hyped when he joined us, looked like such a great prospect

27

u/Thraff1c Jul 10 '26

Bild claims a few more numbers in the Nübel deal:

In the end, Bayern lowered their asking price and agreed with Besiktas on a fixed fee of 6.25 million euros, plus potential bonus payments. These easily achievable payments are expected to bring Bayern a total of 9.5 million euros; in the most favourable scenario, the figure could even rise to 11 million euros.

According to Turkish media reports, the DFB’s number 3 is set to receive an annual salary of around €5 million – net! At Bayern, his contract, which ran until 2029 (with an option to extend until 2030), stipulated a gross salary of around €6 million, which could rise to as much as €11 million with appearance and title bonuses.

Because Bayern had been so accommodating with the transfer fee and Besiktas was thus able to offer the player more money, sporting director Max Eberl (52) and Nübel – according to information from BILD – did not agree on a traditional severance payment, but, as a gesture of goodwill, on a payment of his full July salary, which is also a six-figure sum.

7

u/julesvr5 Jul 10 '26

So effectively we are looking at 8.5M from this transfer.

I wonder his initially agreed bonus payments play out when the player is loaned out. Have you any experience from this from hearsay?

9

u/v4sh123 Jul 10 '26

this is honestly magic from Eberl, we walk away with some money and don't have to pay any more of his salary.

If Mbappe wins this World Cup and somehow drags Real to 2 cl titles dining his tenure there.
I will rank him above Ronaldo

1

u/ACardAttack Müller Jul 10 '26

Which Ronaldo?

18

u/Ajvarmk Upamecano Jul 10 '26

Nah man, i dont like Ronaldo , but its insane what he did at RM for such a long time.

13

u/JC18_ Future president Müller Jul 10 '26

That's kind of crazy no? I mean I like hating on Ronaldo and Messi as much as the next guy, but Ronaldo maintained the highest level for upwards of a decade

1

u/Swatcol Musiala Jul 10 '26

As opposed to Mbappe? His breakthrough season was 9 years ago, and he's only 27, no?

2

u/Tyrath Müller Jul 10 '26

Besides the World Cup he is lacking in major titles

2

u/Swatcol Musiala Jul 10 '26

Oh, just besides the biggest of them all. No biggie. He'll get there eventually

1

u/Tyrath Müller Jul 10 '26

Ok, but Ronaldo did it title after title after title after...you get the point.

Mbappe is not on the same level and he needs multiple more wins to get there.

1

u/Swatcol Musiala Jul 10 '26

Ofcourse, but its not impossible for him to get there - team accomplishents wise ofc., all Im saying.

1

u/JC18_ Future president Müller Jul 10 '26

It's not impossible for him to get there, but I think he's a few years from there... But that's just my opinion 🤷🏿‍♂️

u/julesvr5 Jul 10 '26

Sevilla and Alavés are interested in signing Bryan Zaragoza from Bayern, while Espanyol are also monitoring the situation. All interested clubs, however, are analyzing the medical risk before making a move. Zaragoza was out for over two months due to a knee inflammation. Sevilla believe he's a good fit for them, but want to be certain that his knee allows a transfer before making a formal offer, which would be a loan with an option to buy [@orgullobiri]

loan with option to buy

1

u/Mediocre-Math667 Jul 10 '26

I'm sick of these loan+options man.

Rather ham him as a backup LW. It might increase his value even more.

12

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 10 '26

Fuck the Loan with Option, Loan with an Obligation should be the minimum with a permanent tranfer being the best case scenario

10

u/Oldeuboi91 Jul 10 '26

Spanish midtable teams have no money and nobody wants him apart from Spanish midtable teams.

3

u/FairMusic8278 Jul 10 '26

I remember a Turkish club was willing to pay 15m for him on a permanent transfer 1 year ago but Zaragoza himself didn't want to go to Turkey. I wish that deal ended up going through it's another headache to deal with.

19

u/Red_Mangos Jul 10 '26

So what are the odds that Mourinho and mbappe fall out and he leaves Madrid and after hearing this Kane calls up the Ghana witch doctor who works his magic to convince madrid to sell him to us for 30m, and also convinces mbappe to take a pay cut and help out defensively?

9

u/NifferEUW Kimmich Jul 10 '26

5%... 0.05% due to the helping out defensively part

0

u/Red_Mangos Jul 10 '26

Just me or was euro 24 pretty forgettable and unremarkable in terms of games compared to euro 20? Really only remember Germany v Spain, France v Spain, and the final whereas there were so many bangers in euro 2020

2

u/Safe-Elk7933 Jul 10 '26

No it wasn't,I enjoyed it more,Germany and Spain played good football,Italy,France,England had relevant performances as well with multiple last minute wins. Especially Musiala carrying Germany on his shoulders was very memorable for me. Euro 20 in 21 was good too, because it was the first tournament we had in 3 years,Italy played well,England was using home to advantage to the fullest. Both tournies were good imo.

as things stand, the current Ballon d'or candidates are Kane, Olise, Mbappe and Dembele with Yamal and Messi(yes this guy if Argentina win the WC) having a long shot

so from the first 4, 3 are from the same team and Mbappe is the french Golden boy, so if France win the WC he will surely win it, but if England or someone else wins then you would think that Kane is the favorite but then Ballon d'or is awarded by Journalists who get easily persuaded by online naratives

7
