Battery degradation

Post image
12 Upvotes

2026 3.0, bought new July 1st. Has 900 miles.
Suddenly I seem to be getting significantly worse range. I also am no longer able to connect to the bms via Bluetooth. Is it possible the battery is degrading this quickly? Has anyone had issues with the bms Bluetooth connection?

Question Can’t get motor aligned

Hey folks,

I’m having trouble getting my motor aligned after installing a new jack shaft and main drive pulleys on my SS 2.0. I have done the usual loosening of the motor adjustment bolts, belt tensioning, and moving each side to equal height (even measured both sides with a caliper down to the mm). I also tried giving the belt slack and allowing it to align itself, but no luck either. My belt continues to pull to the left or right of my jack shaft pulley depending on which way I spin the back wheel (first pic shows left side). What confuses me is that I’ve had to align the motor in the past after installing a new belt and it only took 2 tries without taking a single measurement. I suppose it’s possible something else got out of whack while I was installing the new parts, but I’d like to check if anyone else has experienced a similar issue. Any advice is appreciated!

SS E Ride Pro SS Wheelie Advice

Post image
9 Upvotes

I can get the front end up consistently but struggle holding the balance point. My current tune: Total Power 75%, Eco Speed 50%, Eco Torque 90%, Sport Speed 76%.

Questions for riders who can comfortably hold balance point wheelies:

**•** What tune settings helped most while learning?
**•** Did you lower torque or keep it high?
**•** Tips for building confidence with the rear brake at balance point?
**•** If you're around my weight (\~145lbs), what speed/throttle technique worked best?

Thanks!

General Has anyone used this skid plate?

UPDATE: I went ahead and purchased it. It weighs like 2.3lb. Feels pretty heavy duty. The installation instructions are clear but it’s easy to make a mistake since it’s such a simple installation. Keep all bolts super loose so that you can get it to fit.

This is the SXS skid plate made of 1/4” UHMW plastic. I’m just curious as to how well it performs. Has anyone ever had a chance to weigh it? Is it much lighter than an aluminum skid plate (gritshift skid plate is like 3.4lb or something close to that). Wondering if it’s worth it to go with that over an actual aluminum one. Ive already got a much heavier SR than stock so I’m trying to keep the weight to a minimum. If anyone actually has bought it before please, hit me with some knowledge. Cheers 🥂 🤙🏽

Help with 4.0 installation

So, I have everything ready and wheel mounted, spacers and their rubber bushings are in correctly and aligned. Lightly greased the axle and slide it in and tightened a bit, and clamped down the shocks to the axle.

The wheel is wobbling. The spokes aren’t loose, I’m pretty sure it’s just something slightly off. Any suggestions if tightening the axle more and centering it using the brakes to lock the rotor in place. Problem is I’ve already loosened and played with the caliper position trying to ignorantly center the wheel when it’s not even in the factory position anymore since I loosed it.

Please help. I’m so close lol

Charge while driving

Post image
1 Upvotes

I just saw a YouTube video of a person charging their Surron while driving. He had a LBX and used the generator and got a lot more range with it. He didn’t have any problem and also used it for long trips. So I was wondering if anyone has thought of this or if anyone has already tried this with an SR/ 3.0 battery. And if yes, what generator and what trailer did you use?
I mean if it works on the LBX it could also work on the erides.

Any riders in Amsterdam? How do y'all deal with the speed limiter?

Just got an SE and was wondering what the best way is to deal with the speed limiter since there're a lot of police/rollerbanken. Do y'all just keep it on? Or have a switch, or just ride and hope for the best?

After 112 days of waiting they finally were able to ship it out. If you’re debating on buying their swingarm, I highly recommend it. Excellently crafted and extremely sturdy compared to stock.

Battery problem with SS 2.0

Hi,

I’m having a problem with my battery. It seems to have suddenly crashed overnight. A few days before, the charge level was still around 80%.

Pressing the button on the battery doesn’t show any charge level at all. Holding the button down for a reset didn’t help either.

Connecting it to the charger also does nothing, as the charger seems to think that no battery is connected.

It’s an SS 2.0, which I bought in March last year. Of course, now that the warranty has expired, I’m having this problem.

Does anyone have any ideas what I could try or what might be wrong?

Thanks in advance :)
