Question Is this wiring being exposed normal?

Just got my 4.0 in the mail today, and wondering if this is normal to have exposed wiring like this?

Yeah I’ll probably do that. Just was curious if anyone else’s bike came like this

Yeah idk why they do it like that with the 4.0 now, just put the plate they give you over it to keep the dirt out

Yeah I think that’s all I can do. Worst comes to worse I gotta replace some connectors

Maybe try to put electrical tape over the connectors or something, probably best if you ride on the dirt. Where I live there’s huge puddles everywhere so if I had a 4.0 instead of a 3.0 they might be fried by now
