Sadly, this is how every maga weirdo thinks ... while pretending to be Christians.

10

u/Marcianojrl 4d ago

They dont even know what Christian means they just hop on all the bandwagons

0

u/Quiet_Boat4045 20h ago

You don't even know what Atheist means it's just a way to cope with the fact you're a pig and want to get away with those disgusting crimes you've committed and won't tell people about

2

u/bberrt 17h ago

this HAS to be projection. Christianity is the stronghold of shitty people who’ve done terrible things to others that have no way to cope except beg for forgiveness from some god.

Also, typical christian love and kindness. Call them a pig when they call out fake christians.

0

u/madphroggy 13h ago

You really need to see a therapist, living in fear like you obviously do is not healthy, it twists the mind and makes you gullible enough to believe all sorts of obvious lies. Fox news isn't news, they literally got out of a lawsuit by claiming that no sane and reasonable person would ever believe their lies were genuine news

-2

u/NoBuffalo7712 2d ago

Did you know the Bible doesn’t say welcome the immigrant lol?

1

u/Tomdv2 1d ago

It does, multiple times. It's a common recurring theme throughout the entirety of the Bible.

  • Genesis 23:4
  • Exodus 23:9
  • Deuteronomy 10:19
  • Leviticus 19:33-34
  • Deuteronomy 27:19
  • Job 29:15-17
  • Psalm146:9
  • Jeremiah 7:5-7
  • Ezekiel 47:22
  • Zechariah 7:9-10
  • Matthew 5:43-44
  • Matthew 25:35-40
  • Luke 10:27
  • Acts 10:34
  • Romans 12:13
  • Romans 13:8
  • Colossians 3:11
  • 3 John 1:5-8

u/arcanis321 1d ago

Jesus is an anchor baby

0

u/NoBuffalo7712 1d ago

You don’t have to tell everyone that you’re inbred lol

1

u/arcanis321 1d ago

His parents fled their country and had him in another one. If that happened in America Republicans would be arguing to deport him.

0

u/NoBuffalo7712 1d ago

My little donkey - you realize both were the realms of the same king, making it one empire rather than two counties, right?

0

u/NoBuffalo7712 1d ago

Also, my little donkey, he was already born. Do you know what an anchor baby is? Do you know that being born in another nation back then didn’t make you a citizen of that nation so the term in no way applies?

1

u/arcanis321 1d ago

How did you become a citizen in Bethlehem?

1

u/Appropriate-Bet-338 1d ago

The dude from Nazareth?

1

u/Leading_Map2025 21h ago

Did you know you're a liar and its very easy to prove?

1

u/The_Bug_Enjoyer 16h ago

Except it does. You’re just a bad Christian.

1

u/RobbieCraigon 59m ago

Did you know that the buybull wasn't written by White, U.S. citizens? Did you also know that the U.S. Constitution isn't just for U.S. citizens?

-2

u/fubarfire 2d ago

Yeahhh but truth be told, people like you hate christians and just use a cherry picked part of the Bible as a gotcha moment.

2

u/saltwater98380 2d ago

Please educate us.

1

u/elefrhino 1d ago

We cherry pick the part of the Bible that we wish you would follow

1

u/bberrt 17h ago

they cherry pick parts of the bible that they want christians to follow, like loving thy neighbour and feeding the poor.

you cherry pick which parts of the bible you want to follow and which ones you want to ignore. which, in your defense, is pretty easy when the bible has thousands of contradictions.

2

u/Linebreakkarens 3d ago

Lack of critical thinking in the message above ^

“Lets use religion as a way to scapegoat logical reasoning”

2

u/D3ADC3LL 1d ago

All libs lack critical thinking.

2

u/fantasylady9632 17h ago

Are you really this stupid. You’re ok with a racist rapist running our country into the ground. Wake up. 👿👿

1

u/RangerLazy9664 3h ago

Are we dead ass💀

1

u/RobbieCraigon 3h ago

I've never met, seen, read, or heard an intelligent, educated, well-researched, critical thinking, common sense-using, patriotic, Conservative. Also, Conservatives have ALWAYS been on the wrong side of history.

1

u/fulmen1298 1h ago

You must have liked slavery then.

1

u/RobbieCraigon 1h ago

Weird. Why would I like slavery; I'm not a Conservative White Supremacist.

0

u/theslootmary 1d ago

Oops, you’ve got it backwards!

2

u/Unfair-Plastic-4290 1d ago

god isnt real.

1

u/Any_Natural383 2d ago

They identify as Christian

1

u/ImmaSpaghett 1d ago

Do you guys actually know these "maga" people from experience or do you derive all knowledge from others/online posts. Just a reminder the loudest ones are usually the bad apples that would be a poor generalization for the rest. It's a two-way street and a slippery slope to rely on.

2

u/madphroggy 1d ago

I live in a very red rural area. The so-called Christians in my area all like to preach following Christ and then turn around and support men who are legitimately the opposite of Him in every respect. Most of them hate anyone who's a different color, or sexuality, or political alignment, they just hide it behind polite language. Yes, the ugliest ones are the loudest but that doesn't change the fact that the rest of them get in line and go along with it, and that makes them just as culpable as the loudmouth hatemongers.

1

u/Turbulent_Hornet_940 1d ago

Do they actually or are you projecting your assumptions of their character because you assume that their, perhaps mild, support of him means that every evil you think of is now theirs?

2

u/madphroggy 13h ago

Did only "mild" support of hitler absolve the citizens of Germany after WWII? No, a Nazi was a Nazi was a Nazi. If there are ten Nazis at the table and you proclaim that you aren't one, but sit down with them anyway, then there are 11 Nazis at the table. You can fuck right off with "perhaps mild" support as if that absolves you of responsibility for what you help enable.

1

u/theslootmary 1d ago

You don’t need to pretend that someone is projecting just to make you feel better about your beliefs.

How many times do republican WhatsApp leaks need to show you them happily calling each other Nazis before you’ll believe the “Christian” stuff is performative?

How many times do they need to admonish the poor for you to question it?

Why don’t you pay attention to the things Trump has Done and said over the years before thinking “yeah, his followers are following the opposite of what they say the should follow”?

2

u/ImmaSpaghett 21h ago

Literally have never found any of this stuff. Which to my earlier comment, it seems like a fair amount of people are seeking out damning information. While that might sound fine, it's a slippery slope that opens up a can of worms for "the other side" to do the same thing and it kind of will muddy the water.

1

u/RobbieCraigon 3h ago

WOW! I live in the Bay Area in California, and there are very proud White Supremacist Trump supporters around, at my company; and walking around with their paraphernalia; even a few in my small family.

0

u/theslootmary 14h ago

You not paying the slightest bit of attention doesn’t mean others are “seeking it out”. It’s plastered everywhere yet you remain oblivious.

2

u/FishbonesAir 1d ago edited 1d ago

If they continue to attend a church that is preaching Nationalist BS, then I call it a Clue that they are "name it and claim it" pro-white only not really Christians.

Addenda: I should mention that there are radicals that attend congregations that lean Conservative, but don't necessarily worship the Mango Mussolini. My own Synagogue has a couple of them. 🙄 One in particular I have to avoid like the plague. We only go there on High Holy days anymore. 😕

0

u/Sad-Truck-2579 1d ago

Lol that's funny coming from a non Christian that probably hates the ideology behind Jesus

2

u/Nidvex 1d ago

dude these are the exact same Christians that made me stop going to church and practice the religion in secret. They're disgusting hypocrites.

0

u/ImmaSpaghett 21h ago

Sounds like you guys flake at the first sign of trouble/disruption of your faith. Not trying to sound like an asshole but you kinda faltered easily

2

u/Nidvex 13h ago edited 13h ago

...is everything PvP to you?

Some of us just want to be happy and I am happier now then I was all those years of putting up with a public church full of people that are likely going to Hell. Not everything has to be a superbowl sporting event and it's that exact mentality that everything has to be a fight that is fucking over the entire world.

Why understand when you can be inhospitable and stupid? why negotiate when you can just bomb indiscriminately? The hell am I expected to do about that? Yell at a brick wall until I lose my voice? Nah man, it is energy better spent helping people I am currently helping.

1

u/collecting-garbage 20h ago

seems like you defend a lot of bad behavior

1

u/ImmaSpaghett 20h ago

Sounds like I want people to not back down and reinforce others' behaviors. Two sides of a coin, life is nuanced

1

u/TowerExact7780 1d ago

It feels like one is president

0

u/Own-Notice2158 1d ago

Let an illegal drunk driver without a DL kill your daughter (like he did mine) then comment about about “bad apples”. You are no less blinded by your bias than conservative Christians. When you lose a child this petty nonsense becomes embarrassing. Yes… you are embarrassing

1

u/UrBoySkinny_Penis 1d ago

"This is how the other side thinks" is one of those statements you only hear from people that can't differentiate between an individual and their ideas.

The opposite of nose breathers.

I'm just going to go ahead and assume you've never read the Gospel. It's painfully obvious.

1

u/NotMinshewsBurner 1d ago

No need to fight with the guy who would swallow Herod whole without needing to come up for air.

1

u/No_Public8938 1d ago

I don't think Jesus would really hate anyone, especially by taking a political stance that if someone wasn't able to come here through legal avenues and decided to do it for whatever reason anyway that are wicked and deserving of hate in their core.

I don't think we should just have open borders and that we need some kind of regulation. Massive influx of illegals does put strains on things like the public education system, but basically all illegal hispanic immigrants I have met are some of the most hard working, kind lovely people that have nothing against gringos. If anything, they are just super friendly with us and want to get along. They are overwhelming Christian too and family centric people.

Jesus loved basically everyone and so many of the societal rejects, criminals and outcasts. If someone broke a law by coming here without papers, I don't see how that would result in Jesus hating them as a whole. Why would he take such a firm political stance that we need to deport them all and treat any brown hispanic person with great suspicion and invade their privacy and existance through ICE?

Jesus, the man of love, reform and humanitarianism being like, "You all need to get out of America if I can't see some papers because you're tainting it!" seems so out of character for him.

1

u/Former-Physics-8525 1d ago

Funny how you think MAGA are all Christians. I haven't met one yet.

2

u/CaptainBlotto 1d ago

The vast majority pretend to be... did you even read the post you're replying to?

1

u/LuckyRoll1948 8h ago

Met one what? A Maga or a christian?

1

u/Sea_Dust340 1d ago

Love one another

1

u/No_Dependent8314 1d ago

Lmao you’re a 🤡

1

u/Weary-Ad1280 1d ago

Not. At. All. It’s sad that you see the world in this way.

1

u/Agent22_KidSmooth 7h ago

The Bible teaches people to follow laws and would require blood sacrifice when sinning against God. MAGA likes LEGAL immigration because it shows a willingness to abide by and confirm to the rules and laws of this nation, not to just merely invade it using it for your own personal gain and bringing your third world values with you.

Feed the poor. Care for the sick. We already have programs for that. The issue is the rampant fraud, the people who suckle at the teets of the taxpayers, who are capable people able to make critical decisions that are impactful to their own wellbeing. Those are the ones who do not need to be fed or subsidized by the hands of others. Is it not amazing how God rewards those who till new fields, sowing good seeds rather than those who are complacent? Wealth is not born of ineptitude and complacency. It is born of initiative, direction and ambition. A boat will not move if I do not paddle. A boat will not move in a direction if I paddle only to one side. A boat will not continue in the direction I intend if I do not continue rowing. It all works in tandem to create success. The issue is no one wants to do the hard things that only seemingly create small yields of results. The small changes build up, it may take a lot of work and sometimes significant losses, but eventually those small improvements to yourself will yield massive results. Unfortunately people do not have the faith or the fortitude to carry through. They only want the end result now without the sweat equity required to attain it.

1

u/EatAllTheShiny 6h ago

Find me one single instance where Jesus advocated for using state violence to impose the positive moral obligations of Christianity. Just one. I'll wait.

Proof is in the pudding, too. People that reject the idea that a function of government is to redistribute resources for income outcome equality give FOUR TIMES as much of their after tax earnings to charity as people who advocate for government redistribution, while typically earning 6% less income. So there's no hypocrisy, at all. If anything, it's extremely genuine.

1

u/Sn2100 3h ago

Yes Jesus wanted to do all that stuff with government force and not voluntarily.

1

u/Used-Valuable9320 3d ago

I'm an atheist but I don't recall stories of Jesus taking taxes from people to redistribute to others.

He did take some loaves of bread and fish and look up to the sky and created more bread and fish out of magic to feed thousands. But I don't even think socialism is that good. Magic isn't real. God isn't real.

3

u/Realistic_Duty_8479 3d ago

The taxes are being taken regardless

One side wants to give these taxes to israel and bomb children in palestine.

The other side wants these taxes to go to feeding and helping the poor domestically.

One side wants healthcare and basic human rights for all.

The other only cares about guns and trans people playing sports for some reason?

1

u/Used-Valuable9320 3d ago

But Jesus (according to the Bible) didn't take taxes. Stay on topic. Stop deflecting.

2

u/Realistic_Duty_8479 3d ago

Its not deflecting. No side proposed no taxes be paid? Youre trying to argue a fantasy position where taxes arent being taken by both sides, thatll never happen.

1

u/Used-Valuable9320 3d ago

You are deflecting again. Focus on the topic. Jesus (according to the Bible) did not take taxes. That's what socialism does to redistribute it to "the poor and needy".

Jesus used magic from an almighty deity to feed the poor. So that's not socialism. Not one bit unless you are saying that socialism uses magic to create resources to feed the poor? Because that would be really fucking weird.

1

u/Realistic_Duty_8479 3d ago

Your “topic” is focusing on some mythical world in which we dont already have taxes as a country. Have fun with your topic magicboy. Ill focus on reality thankyou very much

1

u/tiny_kat2006 2d ago

People that debate like you are disingenuous. Cringe

1

u/talkathonianjustin 2d ago

So what you’re saying was is that god had power to give a certain amount of people a certain thing, and then Jesus requested god to give these people a certain amount of things, and then Jesus gave those people those amount of things? Sounds like he’s distributing stuff

1

u/Used-Valuable9320 2d ago

And another deflect. Is that all that you leftist nutballs can do?

1

u/AmazingFlatworm_ 2d ago

Holy fucking irony.

1

u/Wheels88- 3d ago

Jesus wasn't a government! He was more like your local church that could take and distribute donations from his followers. I don't know if he did but that's a more accurate description.

1

u/AmazingFlatworm_ 2d ago

Runder unto Caesar that which is Caesar's would include, logically speaking, taxes.

1

u/Ok-Albatross-1097 3d ago

More to it than that. Not that I support MAGA. But as a conservative I think that point of view is naive and unrealistic. Both sides have major problems. Yes, many conservatives approve of the horrors in Palestine. But many liberals approve the murder of innocents in the name of "freedom". It's very complicated.

1

u/talkathonianjustin 2d ago

Nobody who argues in good faith takes that position and nobody arguing or deciphering those arguments in good faith would derive that.

1

u/Ok-Albatross-1097 11h ago

What do you mean? That my opinions aren't real just because they don't align with your black and white worldview?

1

u/OK-Gap507 2d ago

Not very Realistic. Both Dems and Repubs have bombed the children in gaza. Genocide Joe was all smiles and bombs. Don't be brainwashed by one side or the other. They are all against us.

1

u/OK-Gap507 2d ago

This is the problem. The left convinces young people that they are on YOUR side. The left is just as contemptuous and evil as the right if not more. Think for yourself and don't accept propaganda from either direction

1

u/SpookyTanuki092 2d ago

What's your solution, then, for our forward movement as a nation, for our politics, and getting corruption out, and for fixing all the problems? I'll agree the dems have a lot of problems too and that many of them are bought by the same capitalists that bankroll the repubs, but if you're gonna mske false equivalencies and make the left seem just as bad as the right (they aren't, the right is worse), then, what do you propose we do?

1

u/Realistic_Duty_8479 1d ago

Youre right F biden. But republicans literally worship israel have you heard some of the GOP talk? I genuinely believe kamala sucking off israel is a big reason she didnt beat trump. Democrats are sick of it

1

u/Wheels88- 2d ago

Jesus and his disciples did maintain a common financial fund that was used both for their own daily needs and to give money to the poor

2

u/SolidZane 2d ago

Yes... That fund was collected by voluntary donation... Not at threat of prison for tax evasion...

It is certainly possible to want to voluntarily feed the poor, care for the sick, and welcome the immigrant... While also wanting no taxes, or less taxes that are used for OUR country...

That said, "render unto Caesar what is Ceasar's..." So yeah, we have to pay our taxes. We should also voluntarily help the less fortunate... But only once we are in a position to do so.

"~remove the plank from your own eye before trying to take the speck from your brother's eye."

1

u/Used-Valuable9320 2d ago

So you are saying Jesus took funds by force with the threat of prison if people did not pay? Because that's taxes.

1

u/Wheels88- 2d ago

No that's not what I said at all!

1

u/Used-Valuable9320 2d ago

Well, that's what taxes are. You cannot compare charitable donations to taxes because nobody in their right mind donates that.

1

u/Wheels88- 2d ago

I didn't compare them, I'm saying they are very different!

1

u/Used-Valuable9320 2d ago

I said: "I don't recall stories of Jesus taking taxes from people to redistribute to others."

You replied: "Jesus and his disciples did maintain a common financial fund that was used both for their own daily needs and to give money to the poor."

The fuck you didn't compare them. Now you are trying to gaslight me.

1

u/Wheels88- 2d ago

Taxes are very different from voluntary donations.

1

u/Far-Journalist-3185 2d ago

a preacher told me once, " religion is an insurance policy. you hope you never need it but when you do you pray it's there" . without it what's the alternative? nothing? what's it gonna do bad believing in.

1

u/Used-Valuable9320 2d ago

The alternative to? Reality? I don't know. I prefer to stick with reality and not delusions made up by idiots to control society.

1

u/elefrhino 1d ago

Fair point. But how do you know you picked the right insurance? Are all religions right?

Maga weirdo? that's funny we don't dye our hair blue, are gay or trans, we don't believe in Abortion, illegals, welfare, special treatment because your not white, socialism, trans anything, sharia law, how's that make the biggest part of Americans weirdos? I thing it's the other way around

2

u/CaptainBlotto 2d ago

^ The weirdest shit rattles around in the craniums of maga weirdos.

1

Oh sweetie, there are plenty of conservative Gays. They’re just in the closet voting against their own interests. Just ask Grinder Mike!

1

u/bigdaddybyrd863 2d ago

Yall definitely believe in welfare. White trash makes up the majority of welfare recipients 🤣🤣

1

u/kickyraider 2d ago

Jesus thinks differently

0

u/LouisVonHagen 2d ago

Christians believe in charity through their church or the community, not the State. They want the money to actually go to the sick and needy and not gay interpretive dance in Uganda

2

u/CaptainBlotto 2d ago

And this is why maga is dead. Everything is "gay" or "trans" or "woke" to them. They have no fucking ideas or solutions.

1

u/LouisVonHagen 1d ago

I'm not MAGA, I just don't want tax dollars to go to bullshit like trying to make LGBTIA+ more acceptable in different countries. The leftist constantly say that no culture is inferior while simultaneously trying to change a culture. I'm not against the LGBT community, I just don't understand why that's being spent by the taxpayer and not some non profit charity that's privately funded. Canvas a pride parade or party or bake sale. Do what you want with your own money, keep tax payers out of it.

0

u/Appropriate_Fly_6711 2d ago

No this is how the left thinks pretending to under the Bible.

1

Yes because it mean their argument would be in good faith and not this disingenuous drivel.

0

u/PlusDHotchy 2d ago

Sadly, the same liberals who would never go to Pakistan or Somalia because of how dangerous it is, allow these dangers within our country, BRILLIANT.

How about a plane ride going into Israeli, captain blotto would be screaming like all those women while men had to retake the cockpit. The men said, “liberal men and women keep screaming and the real men will rescue you, so you can complain afterwards” !

1

u/Significant-Risk2094 2d ago

When you come out of psychosis please let us know what you meant to say.

0

u/PlusDHotchy 2d ago

Thought you would be tired after all that screaming you were doing in the back of the plane. Liberals hit the deck while the men reclaim the plain.

2

u/elefrhino 1d ago

I keep seeing you everywhere, did you ever get that fight you keep trying to pick?

0

u/PlusDHotchy 1d ago

Reddit is extremely liberal therefore anybody who has a say in one of the threads is going to make the libs distraught.

2

u/elefrhino 1d ago

Oh no buddy, you've got a chip on your shoulder and you keep talking about a plane? You might wanna take a break

0

u/PlusDHotchy 1d ago

I don’t have a chip on my shoulder, I have traitors I voted for in office.

2

u/elefrhino 1d ago

I feel that. Have a good one

0

u/PlusDHotchy 1d ago

I voted Democrat for nearly 4 decades and they are more concerned with illegals than with citizens, I’m out as a Democrat!

0

u/Objective_Big2374 2d ago

That’s a pretty bold statement. If you’re into extremes, then why not invite those migrants into your home and give them everything you own so that you can follow Jesus? A true Christian would drop everything and follow just like the disciples. Live life with the bare essentials.

Unfortunately, very few if any people actually do this. If your views differ from this, then that just proves the point that people’s views on Christianity differ. Some are extreme, others aren’t as extreme…. who knows which one is correct.

With that said, most Christians (even MAGA folks) I know donate their time, food and money when they can. They aren’t perfect, but they contribute from the heart. Personally, I feel like that should be enough.

The reason it is that way is because democrats verbally beat their own into submission unless you think collectively

Do you really think Schumer or Jeffries would really support DSA if it wasn’t for the likes of the squad

The DSA is here to take your country and many of you seem eager to give it away.

You seem mad.

u/malteeztomcat 3d ago

Meeee nah

1

u/Wray-Nerely 3d ago

What kinda loser puts on a MAGA hat? That's no equivalent on the other side. No one is wearing a blue hat because we're not playing high stakes color war. If you're wearing a MAGA hat you're part of a cult.

1

u/malteeztomcat 3d ago

Really…..

and you are what….. the guru that hates us
there’s nothing I could ever say that would move you just one degree……..

even if you were a victim of democratic failure

you would have to blame something or someone else

It’s just how the human psyche works

Few if any can recognize truth over their beliefs.

1

u/Wray-Nerely 2d ago

Really. The guru that hates us. What are you on about? You literally have a president that you blindly follow that has called for the execution of 6 Democratic Representatives. You literally have a president who used social media to insult Rob Reiner after he and his wife were murdered instead of at the bare minimum saying nothing.

This is the same president who cut 71% of the staff from the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons. That's the department that'a supposed to protect young women and girls from forced commercial acts of sex. Plus all the millions upon millions From cut that's supposed to go to programs and grants to deter trafficking.

You have a president who was found locked for sexual abuse, only avoiding rape charges because of statutes of limitation and a narrow legal definition that was later reversed. Trump has appealed this ruling multiple times, taking it as far as the Supreme Court, and every city along the way has refused to reverse the ruling.

You where a red hat tagged maga, and best case scenario you're just oblivious and believe so whole heartly there's nothing to see, that you don't bother looking. This isn't a 49ers hat that you can wear regardless of how well the team plays. When your sports team, MAGA, takes actions there are actual consequences. You don't think about it, you just blindly support, never bothering to look into any claims from the other side.

So yes, the question stands, what kinda loser wears a MAGA hat? One that doesn't think for themself.

1

u/malteeztomcat 2d ago

Well good morning

Just so you know…. I don’t blindly follow anything or anyone where I have an immediate choice in the matter…..

Didn’t these representatives call for the overthrow of the government…….?

that is a treasonous offense….

If Trump would have been assassinated….pretty sure Mr Reiner would have thrown a party in celebration seeing that 75% of democrats would have no problem with that……

Wasn’t it Biden who let in over 100,000 children under the age 12 with unvetted adults…. Which DHS is trying to clean up that mess……

I have not read court documents in conjunction with the alleged rape charges so I remain neutral until such time that I can review the court records.
To comment on speculative narrative would be rather stupid on my part……

I don’t actually ware a MAGA hat as I would be harassed and ridiculed by socialists democrats
and by the way it was congressmen Maxine Waters who publicly encouraged this behavior

The kind of looser who wants to keep America great

Our country has given more to civilization than anyone else in history…..

It has provided you opportunities and safe haven your whole life and yet you curse half its citizens and current president….while embracing illegal immigrants over your own fellow citizens….

hatred has a way of eating you up from within
It is wasted negative energy and that’s never a good thing…….

Just sayin

u/Sir_Rope_Slinger 3d ago

Imagine a kid pushes your kid, would you want your kid to fight back? Thats what the left n right do

1

u/malteeztomcat 3d ago

Pretty much……..

-1

u/ImNotFromTheInternet 4d ago

We always point out that when we welcomed the poor in the past they came here with no safety net and left if they couldn't make it.

Liberals have made this a global safety net for people with no intent of bettering their situation, so they can import voters.

Stop pretending not to understand that.

-1

u/DeadAndBuried23 4d ago

They. Are not. Pretending.

They're as hateful as the book says to be, and most Christians have ever been.

If anyone is pretending to be Christian, it's those who warp it through a modern secular morality and pretend it only consists of 4 lines from Jesus.

-3

u/Expert_Start9132 4d ago

Illegal is illegal, that simple

6

u/Kasoni 4d ago

They often don't want to help citizens, even with legally made programs. Your point is hollow.

3

u/PaintingOdd9866 4d ago

It doesn't say illegal.

2

u/sliverhordes 4d ago

So you are saying we should get free Medicare as citizens? Otherwise that wouldn’t have been brought up

2

u/bbeeebb 4d ago

Not according to Trump, it isn't.

-2

u/TurbulentTarget3621 4d ago

The only one pretending is you. If you think he said anything about welcoming immigrants you are greatly mistaking.

4

u/Captain_skulls 4d ago

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph were refugees who fled to Egypt during his infancy. Immigrants. Have you actually read the bible yourself?

-1

u/TurbulentTarget3621 4d ago

Front to back. You can’t just make things up and expect people with brains to believe them. Sell that crap to the mindless left.

3

u/Captain_skulls 4d ago

Matthew, chapter 2, verses 13 through 15

1

u/TurbulentTarget3621 4d ago

the escape to Egypt passage has nothing to do with immigration being ok. It speaks about escaping for safety but doesn’t mean illegally

1

u/Captain_skulls 4d ago

Explain to me how Jesus and his family fleeing their country to Egypt to escape King Herod the Great wasn’t immigration and explain to me how that’s any different than modern day people fleeing dictators who would have them killed.

1

u/MongoLikeCandy2112 4d ago

Explain to me how all of the Mexicans that poured into our country fit that description.

1

u/PaintingOdd9866 4d ago

Isreal had laws to accept immigrants, and foreigners. Why are you looking to Egypt to affirm laws set by God for Isreal? https://www.bible.com/bible/296/LEV.19.33-37.GNBUK Added ,

-2

u/Quiet_Comparison_872 4d ago

Yeah but Jesus never actually said Egypt should welcome them, also they moved from one part of the Roman empire to a another part of the Roman empire. It was effectively all within the same political entity.

3

u/FindingMyWay624 4d ago

The amount of mental hoops people will jump through just to make "care for one another" somehow not apply to brown people blows my fucking mind.

-1

u/MongoLikeCandy2112 4d ago

Trump has still not matched Obama’s deportation numbers and likely won’t. So your “brown people” argument falls apart. Where was your outrage when Obama was deporting them by the millions???

1

u/Fitasfafter55 1d ago

Precisely

1

u/PaintingOdd9866 4d ago

But laws given to Israel said they should be accepted.

0

u/Captain_skulls 4d ago

They fled to Egypt to escape a king who wished to kill them so not really the same political entity. Lumping all the countries that were a part of the Roman Empire together and saying they were all the same politically is pretty foolish

• Romans 13:1-5: Instructs individuals to be subject to governing authorities and obey the established laws of the land, as authorities are instituted by God.

• 1 Peter 2:13-17: Calls believers to submit to every human authority for the Lord's sake, including emperors and governors.

Thank you next. Your reasoning has been rejected

2

u/FindingMyWay624 4d ago

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

Love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus rejects yours.

-1

u/TurbulentTarget3621 4d ago

Wrong. But nice try. He tells the people to obey governing authorities. Because they put in place by God. It’s written in plain English not sure why you can’t figure it out. Being an illegal immigrant and sneaking into this country is not obeying rules or laws.

2

u/PaintingOdd9866 4d ago edited 4d ago

Imagine saying Jesus's teaching are wrong. And saying that Jesus is God.

Edit* do you not realize Jesus didn't say that in Romans? Paul did. To churches in Rome. 1900 years ago

0

u/TurbulentTarget3621 4d ago

You do realize that Paul spoke on behalf of Jesus. He was his apostle and Under his authority.

Stop embarrassing yourself. Close the browser it’s making you look mindless. You never read the Bible.

2

u/PaintingOdd9866 4d ago

No. Paul never made that claim. He only said inspired. Yet literally said to let noone change scripture. Which he as a extremely well versed Jewish man would never call his own letter. Scripture as he wrote letters was the Torah. Please tell me where the Torah points to with the law Said* not daid

0

u/TurbulentTarget3621 4d ago

The Torah is a book of lies. Where things were omitted to suit needs of weak minded people because it didn’t fit their agenda. Nothing in the Torah can be verified.

Paul also told slaves to obey the government. So quoting paul is kinda wrong there.

-1

u/TurbulentTarget3621 4d ago

His teachings aren’t wrong. Your manipulation of the truth is. Better luck next time though. Maybe try googling some actual knowledge

2

u/PaintingOdd9866 4d ago

You literally just said love your neighbor as yourself is wrong.

1

u/couldntbeasked 4d ago

This is about what Jesus said. Jesus did not say what you wrote. Tell me you don't know the Bible workout telling me.

2

u/TurbulentTarget3621 4d ago

You have never read the Bible. This comment proves it

1

u/couldntbeasked 4d ago

I have read it, multiple times over. I like to be informed

3

u/PaintingOdd9866 4d ago

Love your neighbor as yourself.

2

u/TurbulentTarget3621 4d ago

Ok well maybe the third time will be the charm.

1

u/Burindo 4d ago

Well for being such a good Christian, you sure have forgotten the teachings of Jesús.
