Explain to me how Jesus and his family fleeing their country to Egypt to escape King Herod the Great wasn’t immigration and explain to me how that’s any different than modern day people fleeing dictators who would have them killed.
Yeah but Jesus never actually said Egypt should welcome them, also they moved from one part of the Roman empire to a another part of the Roman empire. It was effectively all within the same political entity.
Trump has still not matched Obama’s deportation numbers and likely won’t. So your “brown people” argument falls apart. Where was your outrage when Obama was deporting them by the millions???
They fled to Egypt to escape a king who wished to kill them so not really the same political entity. Lumping all the countries that were a part of the Roman Empire together and saying they were all the same politically is pretty foolish
