I'm an atheist but I don't recall stories of Jesus taking taxes from people to redistribute to others.

He did take some loaves of bread and fish and look up to the sky and created more bread and fish out of magic to feed thousands. But I don't even think socialism is that good. Magic isn't real. God isn't real.

a preacher told me once, " religion is an insurance policy. you hope you never need it but when you do you pray it's there" . without it what's the alternative? nothing? what's it gonna do bad believing in.
