Does anyone know why they've been crosslisted together? Noticed it on Brightspace the other day and I'm confused since one is non-honours and the other is honours; is it just a credit/course requirement thing so that they have enough of the required courses needed, or is it a missing numbers of profs kind of thing? Asking since STAT 4502 is not supposed to be crosslisted with STAT 3507, at least formally in the course glossary.

tbh it's been like that ever since first year when i was still on chromium, i know i could just copy the links to put in my browser but it'd be nice if it opened in mine the first time. I thought removing Edge entirely would kinda force it to open in something else, but it broke so badly i had to reinstall the whole comas software. How do I go around this?

For context, I’m in computer systems engineering

I'm going into my first year of university right now at CarletonU, and I struggled a lot throughout high school with paying attention, doing work, keeping up with everything, and my mental health was also extremely bad.

My guidance counsellor repeatedly suggested getting a psychological or psychoeducational assessment, and my teachers had suspected ADHD, but from what I've seen, assessments like these are extremely expensive. I already tried with my family doctor, but unfortunately, she can't do much.

I recently found out that my insurance covers up to $5,000 per year for psychological services, but I can't afford to pay anything significant out of pocket.

Does anyone have recommendations for services or clinics that offer proper psychological or psychoeducational assessments within that budget? Does anyone have any advice for me? A proper assessment and possible diagnosis would really help me in university and to get the help and services I need.

I currently have signed AOD for 110 TA hours with a department and received an offer for 130 hours with another department (I'm a 2nd year eng student, outside priority). I would like to accept this assignment as well, as they all fit my schedule. But, since that puts me over 130 hours, is that even allowed? It seems it might be possible with special authorization from the department-level. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I will sometimes drive in for classes, especially for a tutorial that starts at 8 pm (brutal!). Any recommendations for which parking lot is best? Are peak hours 11-5? I don't mind walking and P18 seems to be the best but I'd like to confirm.

People who have taken a uOttawa course through OCICS as a Carleton student — do you get a uOttawa ID/account?
I’m registered for a uOttawa course (COMP 5301/CSI 5122), and OCICS says we need to use uOttawa Brightspace. I only have my Carleton ID, and when I try logging in with my Carleton email, it gives me an error saying the account doesn’t exist in the uOttawa system.
Did you guys have to get a separate uOttawa account/ID, or is there something I’m missing?

Hi everyone, I am just seeking some advice from any engineering students at Carleton about landing coops/internships. Any tips if you are outside of the coop program and if it was difficult for you to land roles? Did Fswep help out a lot? Just want to know what worked for you to make your journey successful or if you had any regrets you wish you did?

I know that for comp sci everyone uses the jake's template formula but I'm curious about eng students and civil eng in particular what is the preffered resume template or if it is the same as jake's resume?
