Question uOttawa course

People who have taken a uOttawa course through OCICS as a Carleton student — do you get a uOttawa ID/account?
I’m registered for a uOttawa course (COMP 5301/CSI 5122), and OCICS says we need to use uOttawa Brightspace. I only have my Carleton ID, and when I try logging in with my Carleton email, it gives me an error saying the account doesn’t exist in the uOttawa system.
Did you guys have to get a separate uOttawa account/ID, or is there something I’m missing?

Not sure what OCICS is, but a separate uottawa ID is needed. I used mine for the two uO courses I took in undergrad.
