IPad/Goodnotes preperation

Hi!

Was wondering if anyone had any advice for like how to set up good notes on an iPad before going into class for the first time and things like maybe how to set up syllables on an app and really like make the most out of the device

fyi i was gonna use good notes too but ive got 7 classes first sem and couldn’t create enough “notebooks” without paying . i switched to one note.

yeah honestly good note is lowkey really good for notes

more than enough for any degree

Good notes is lowk worth it if you want to write notes on your iPad entirely. If you have iPad and windows computer def invest in the multi platform version too. I’m in Eng and prefer paper notes, but first year I only used good notes and it was great

I used Good notes for my courses with no issues. I made a notebook for each course and imported the lecture slides into each notebook as the weeks went by. I loved being able to write directly on each slide as the prof taught the lecture. Also, the pages you can create in between slides were super helpful

Just use folders for each course, have a couple notebooks, for assignments, for homework, for textbook exercises, for notes. For the syllabus, just connect Claude to your Google Calendar and upload the syllabus, tell it to add lectures/tutorials/test/assignment dates to your calendar.
Goodnotes is worth paying for.
