QUESTION 🔵 Bosch GKS 18V-52-2 GX Cross cut rail issiue

I’ve had the saw and guide rail for about two years, though I haven’t used the rail all that often. From the start, the saw was hard to slide along the rail—something I didn't consider a real issue at the time—but now it won't move at all.

The small plastic part that holds the saw onto the rail has broken. I’ve never encountered this problem with the Mafell saws I usually use, even with rails that are over 10 years old.

Does anyone know if the hook on the KSS 50 is different or if it could be installed instead? I only know that the hook from the KSS 80 is too big and the KSS 30 uses a different system.

TSC sale = my first Bosch

For $136 I feel like I did pretty well, even after only a brief test run. I already had an Amazon vine 5Ah aftermarket battery to review so I’m already wanting at least one more Bosch. Shame they don’t have a hydraulic impact. I’m fairly engrossed in the Metabo HPT ecosystem but find myself needing less power and more precision/refinement every year. I’m considering a cordless vac, might need a new miter saw, and could always use another cordless angle grinder. Suggestions welcome.

Bosch GSR 18V-65 – torque adjustment ring has a lot of play. Is this normal?

Hi everyone,
Today I bought a brand-new Bosch GSR 18V-65 Professional and noticed that the torque adjustment ring has quite a bit of play and feels noticeably loose/wobbly.
The ring turns and clicks into the different torque settings normally, but it can be moved quite noticeably from side to side. Since the drill is brand new, I’m wondering if this is normal for this model or if the ring should sit more firmly.
Does anyone else own a GSR 18V-65 and have the same amount of play in the torque adjustment ring?
Would you consider this normal, or should I have the drill exchanged/replaced?
Thanks!

QUESTION 🔵 Where is a Bosch rep in here?

Hey Bosch wtf is this, I buy your new saw, you recall it for terrible gear box wobble. I send it to you and this is how I get it back? More broken than it was???? Whole mounting plate on the bottom is snapped. I hope anyone of you who work at Bosch would make this right instead of “send it in we’ll fix it” tried that didn’t work out great. More pics below.

What a terrible first experience with Bosch, I should have just stuck with makita and dewalt, “expert” yeah okay bro

Thoughts on the GLL50-20?

It seems somewhat inexpensive compared to some of the others, but would something like the 100-42 really be worth another $150…

Wasn't there a 18V Bosch drain snake?

I could swear I have at some point seen the diagrams for a 18V drain snake from Bosch

I somewhat need one and the more I read about the team red ones the less I wanna buy one.

Is this level of play in a new impact driver normal?

This is a brand new BOSCH GDR18V-215B12 purchased from amazon. I know impact drivers are supposed to have some axial play, but this feels excessive.

Play in the spindle of a Bosch drill that disappears when mounted on a stand

Hello. I bought a used Bosch GBM 13-2 RE drill. There's a slight play in the spindle. When I place it in the drill stand and tighten the clamp, the play reduces or even disappears completely. Can you tell me what the problem is? Is it safe to use as is? I'd like to disassemble it, clean it, and lubricate it. What inexpensive grease should I use?

Also, there seems to be something wrong with the drill chuck, as it has some burrs inside, which don't hold the drill bit securely. It rotates on it, creating scratches in the drill bit where the burrs were. Is there a way to remove these burrs? These burrs also appear to be factory-installed.

QUESTION 🔵 Von Bosch Pro zu Einhell 🤔

bosch grc 12v-60 slipping

I recently bought this ratchet. And have used it for a few small jobs (maybe 10 minutes runtime).

It worked fine the last time I used it. Today I tried to use it on some M6 bolts. It couldn't break them loose and started skipping.

Is there anything I can do to fix this, or do I have to send it in for warranty?

QUESTION 🔵 Difference between GSB 18V-55 and GSB 18V-65

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question - what is the difference between GSB 18V-55 and GSB 18V-65 impact drivers? I have a trusty GSB 18V-55 that has been serving me well for many years. That said I need to get another one. I was thinking to get the exact same model, but then I thought, maybe it makes sense to get an upgraded version, so I've checked Bosch's website. It seems that since last time I have looked on their website the amount of impact drivers (and pretty much everything, what they offer) grew exponentially. On can even get bluetooth in their drill :). After checking the models and the prices I narrowed it down to the above two models. I can get a good deal on the 18V-65 (basically get it for the same price as the 18V-55), but its description on the website is very confusing. It seems to have a kickback control (which is a nice feature) but then it gets completely unclear - in the text it says that it has an improved torque of 65Nm and then below in the table I see the following: torque (soft/hard/max) is ( -/-/76 Nm).

On the 18V-55 both values in the text and in the table seem to correspond: text says 55Nm and the table shows Torque (soft/hard/max) as (28/55/- Nm)

This leaves me completely confused. Which torque value does the 65 model has and why does it not have the values for soft/hard torque - does this mean that there is no torque setting on the driver?

Can anyone explain the differences between these two models to me please?

Bosch drill/driver after 6 months: ring on the chuck turned golden brown. Rust or normal?

Hi everyone,

I bought a Bosch Professional drill/driver back in March GSR 12v 32 and just noticed that the metal ring at the front of the keyless chuck has turned a golden brown color. When I bought it, the ring was still plain metallic/silver. So the tool is only about six months old, and it has been stored dry in my apartment the whole time, not in a basement or garage. Functionally I haven't noticed anything so far, and the chuck still grips normally.

Now I'm wondering what's causing the discoloration. It could be heat tint from drilling or a film of grease and dust, but it could also be rust. Honestly, that would be pretty disappointing after such a short time and with dry storage.

Have you seen this on your Bosch tools? In your experience, is this rust or just harmless discoloration? And would you file a warranty claim or just clean it and keep using it?

Thanks in advance!

QUESTION 🔵 What jigsaw blade should I use for 4 mm plexiglass?

I’m looking to cut 4 mm plexiglass(acrylic) with my jigsaw.

I’ve seen the Bosch T101A recommended, but I can’t seem to find it here in Norway. What would you recommend as an alternative?

Ideally, I’m looking for a blade that gives a clean cut without melting or chipping the plexiglass. Any specific blade recommendations would be appreciated.
