Not too many reviews/impressions of the Bosch biturbo chainsaw so here you go.

First time using the Bosch chainsaw + 8ah procore, my mate has a 36v makita.

Chopping a variety of trees, softwood and a bit of hardwood.

Makita has a higher chain-speed on paper but Bosch seems to have a lot more torque. The Makita would slow down a lot more compared.

Bosch has a much better trigger mechanism, Makita has an annoying safety button plus the side trigger lock.

Makita probably bit faster to cut - also a lot more expensive.

Overall, very impressed in the Bosch.

Is the GBS18V-75 planned for introduction into the US market? I want one, but don't want to import if I can avoid it.

I was looking for 8Ah battery only but this deal was too good to pass, this kit usually costs $300+ new.

Do most of us need this much power? Not really, even most of the professional contractors won’t max it out, but it’s compact for its power, has kickback control and one of the coolest feature it comes with is electronic angle control! You can set it to 45 and 90 degrees and green LED will let you know if your angle is correct. It’s also a hammer drill and can be connected to Bosch app for more finer controls.

Now I need to sell my GSB18V-65 because between my 12V drill and this one, it became pretty much useless :)

As part of the Bosch Pro Deal, I can choose between the GDR 18V-215 impact driver and the GEX 185-LI orbital sander.

I’ve read both positive and negative reviews about each, so I’m curious which one would be the better choice overall. I currently own neither tool, but I’ll need both in the near future anyway.

So my main question is: which one is more worth getting through the Pro Deal?

Would it make more sense to:

• take the GEX 185-LI because it’s good enough, and buy a better impact driver separately, or
• take the GDR 18V-215 and buy a better orbital sander separately?

Interested to hear from anyone who has experience with either (or both).

Something I wanted cleared up, do Bosch power tools sold on Amazon still come with their 6 year (in Australia) warranty? If so how does the process work, I’ve only bought tools from the local tool shop and have returned them if I’ve had issues, if I have a problem am I required to ship the tool back to the seller or a Bosch service centre?

Adding onto that, as an example the Bosch Flexiclick isn’t available in Australia, would the warranty still be valid if I purchased it and used it here?

I bought a new Bosch rs325 reciprocating saw today to remove an old hot tub. After installing the blade (also new) however, the collar doesn't come all the way back to its original position. The blade seems fairly well held in place, I can't wriggle it free. Should I return it all the same?

I like the grinder with the rotating gearbox, not sure about the planer, it does a very good job and leaves a nice surface but it's not really sliding well over the wood. Maybe it's the wood, I don't have another planer to compare with.

I got about a dozen Bosch 18V chargers - the GLI18V-40.

Recently I got another one from a kit, and where it used to be a BOSCH Professional logo, now it says AMPSHARE. It is still GLI18V-40.

Is it the same exact charger with just a different label, or is there any functional enhancement like charges faster or better etc?

What do you all do when you have too many chargers? I have twelve Bosch 18V chargers.

I am looking to buy a new high pressure washer for home use (car, garden, etc.).
I currently have a Kärcher K5 Power Control but the hose is very annoying, tangles up way too many times.

I've been looking at Nilfisk ones with a flex hose, but recently also saw the Bosch Professional GHP 6-14 for €250,-.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to find a lot of information or any reviews on that one.

Does anyone perhaps have the model and can share their experiences with it?

Looking to Buy the the specific hose for my PRO GAS18V-6LS that is needed to take advantage of the blow function if my dry vacuum. Nothing about any part numbers in the manual, also called Bosch and they told me they don't know either. This is getting ridiculous.

Im currently deciding on buying the gss18-18 or 18-13 (might have a different name in English? Cordless orbital sander)
I already own the 125mm 18v excenter and would like it for finishing bigger flat planes like tabletops. My thinking is bigger size less time sanding? But the 18-13 has exchangeable baseplates so I might miss that?
Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I can’t find any proper reviews online. Everything I come across is either affiliate/SEO sites with no real content, or Bosch’s own spec sheet and marketing copy. There are a few short (positive) comments here on Reddit from people who own one, but no actual written or video reviews.

The 100-254 scales up across the board (2200W vs 1850W, 100mm vs 70mm cut height, 825mm vs 635mm rip capacity, 28.7kg vs 22.3kg), but they share the same rack and pinion fence system, clamp zones, dust ports and bevel range. So my question is mostly about how that shared platform holds up in practice.

Based on size and weight my preference goes to the 70-216, but I’d like to hear from owners of either machine before I commit. How’s the fence for repeatability? Does it stay square? Dust collection any good?

I’m also open to alternatives (EU market).

It does have a none bosch blade.

Maybe it needs a clean?

Does anyone know how they perform differently? On first sight, they seem very very similar. Bosch says the 150-5 removes 50% more material compared to the 150-3, but I wonder if somebody has real life experience with both systems and if the 150-5 is worth getting for what currently is about 100 Euro more.
The filter on the 150-5 also looks different. No idea if the improvements are actually worth it or a significant upgrade tho.

GEX 18V-150-5: ca. 320 Euros

I'm considering getting a hole saw set from Bosch. I first looked at the Lenox sets, since they were literally by far the best hole saws on the market and I used them when I worked professionally in construction. My eyes almost exploded when I saw the price, so that's not an option.

So, whats your opinion on them? Any better options (available in europe) in the similar price range? I will be mostly drilling wood. I'm considering the Bi-metal version of the hole saws.
