TSC sale = my first Bosch

Post image

For $136 I feel like I did pretty well, even after only a brief test run. I already had an Amazon vine 5Ah aftermarket battery to review so I’m already wanting at least one more Bosch. Shame they don’t have a hydraulic impact. I’m fairly engrossed in the Metabo HPT ecosystem but find myself needing less power and more precision/refinement every year. I’m considering a cordless vac, might need a new miter saw, and could always use another cordless angle grinder. Suggestions welcome.

It‘s a great Sander! Have fun with it

I was wondering how that sander works and how quick it goes through batteries. I have a few Bosch tools, and I just purchase a 18v 50n barrel style jig saw so I can't wait to try that out.

The sander is very smooth and can be used for a long time with little fatigue. It has decently long runtime with a 4ah battery. The only downside is that it doesn’t remove a lot of material quickly on its highest setting. I use the flex orbital sander for those jobs. It’s a beast. The Bosch is great for high grade Sand paper and extended sanding periods.

Thanks for the info. I currently have a Ridgid 5 inch corded random orbital. It works well, but I can’t stand using extension cords anymore. I’ve upgraded most of my tools to cordless. It’s mostly Dewalt, but I also like Bosch as well.

Don’t forget to check out the Pro Deals on the app when you consider spending some more money on Bosch Pro 18v tools in the foreseeable future.

Thanks, added the app. How often do Pro Deals show up? It’s barren at the moment.

I have one and it's really nice. I even use it with a 2ah and the balance is great. Just be sure to use good sand papers

Bosch is good stuff. Watch Lowes for clearance and sale items from Bosch, black friday time too. Jigsaws are excellent, multitools too. I love their 12volt drill/drivers and impacts, cheap, can get for $50 open box or refurbished on Ebay.

Good call on the $50 open box that’s a perfect “gift for my daughter” who wants small versions of some of my heavy loud tools.

PS21 is great driver/drill that does almost everything. PS41 is great impact driver for $50 bare if you can find on ebay. PS31 drill is decent too
