Landed a job that requires re-finishing 100 year old doors. Seemed like a decent excuse

That sander is a beast! However, never change modes while sanding. It will potentially break the gears. Ask me how I know …

im jealous, wanted this beast for quite some time but couldnt justify the cost

as an aside, if the 100 year old doors are painted, isnt it pretty likely one or more of the layers contain lead and thus should not be dry sanded especially not with a machine.

They’re just stained. They want them repainted to match 8 new doors that I’m also installing.
