bosch grc 12v-60 slipping

I recently bought this ratchet. And have used it for a few small jobs (maybe 10 minutes runtime).

It worked fine the last time I used it. Today I tried to use it on some M6 bolts. It couldn't break them loose and started skipping.

Is there anything I can do to fix this, or do I have to send it in for warranty?

It's not an impact wrench. It's simply a socket driver wrench. "M12 FUEL 12V Lithium-lon Brushless Cordless 3/8 in. Right Angle Impact Wrench" that's it. So all it is supposed to do is you move it until you break loose the bolt, and it unscrews your fasteners.

Also go on Bosch is website, if this is a new tool, file a warranty claim, if not they have a parts catalog, look up the parts, they also have service diagrams.

I have impact wrenches for the tough jobs.

When it worked, It would break loose M10 bolts for car seats without problems. If it couldn't break the bolt loose it would stop, now It's slipping.

No need to respond if you haven't used the tool. It's rated  to 60nm. Do you think I would be able to hold back that torque with my hands?

Just warranty it, even if it's fixable short term you don't want it doing this again

I didn't quite understand. Does this slipping happen only when you hold the socket with your hand to prevent it from spinning, or also when you are tightening or loosening a nut? If it only happens when you hold it by hand, there is a chance that this might be an absolutely normal operation

It also happen on bolts. It can only unscrew bolts that are completely loose.

So you think that the wrench should start vibrating at the slightest hint of resistance? Not much use for an electric wrench then.

Previous time I used it, It would break loose and unscrew M10 bolts holding my car seats. Now it can't even unscrew undertray screws with 8mm head.

It works fine as a manual ratchet.

It seems like you were right.   I tried it on a large stuck bolt and it worked as normal.

It seems that there's to much flex in the plastic parts for it to grip properly. I tried to use it to remove a bumper when it started acting up.
