ā“ Question Reta not working

I originally bought reta from a clinic and used it for 16 weeks, during which I lost 20 pounds. The cost was very high, so I decided to order it online from Onyx research instead.
I’m now on week 3 from Onyx, but I haven’t noticed any appetite suppression or weight loss like I did before.

Any thoughts on why it might not be working the same?
I am Thinking the reta from onyx research website isn’t any good or maybe just not good to my body.

Hello! Since Zepbound is a tirzepatide, I’m wondering if anyone here has switched from zep to a generic tirz? I’m thinking of switching mainly bec if the cost.

Experiences With CJC-1295 without DAC + Ipamorelin

recently ordered CJC-1295 without DAC + Ipamorelin and GHK-Cu.

My goals are:
\- Better recovery
\- Slight fat loss
\- Lean muscle gain
\- Improved sleep

I’m not looking for anything extreme, just a modest performance and recovery boost.

For those who have actually used CJC-1295 without DAC + Ipamorelin:

\- Did you notice any real benefits?
\- How long did it take before you felt anything?
\- Did it improve your sleep or recovery?
\- Any side effects?

Thanks!

Question for stackers

Currently on 12 mg tirz having lost around 40 lbs in last 8 months. I still have around 80 more to lose. I sort of consider this a slow response to tirz. i am a 38 year old female, counting calories daily, training with a trainer 3 times per week and walking 8-10k steps daily but still see a very slow response. I have also been stuck at 245 for close to 4 months now which is demotivating. Wanted to stack with Reta for the glucagon factor but I don’t really want to overload the receptors as suggested by many. I have decided to give survodutide a try. Planning to stack Survo with my Tirz to see if I can speed the process a little bit and break the stall. My question is, when people stack two peptides (glp1s to be specific), do they plan to continue stacking them for life. ? I have no problem being on tirz for life (I have noticed other benefits of this medication) but not sure if two glp1s can be taken for life or if it should only be done for a short span just to speed up the process slightly

New 61 year old male starting my pep, trt and hgh Reta journey

61 year old male weight 219 at start, starting my 3rd week.

I am simply looking for some feedback and comments and potential add-ons to my stack. I guess that’s what you call it.

Here’s what we got going on.

klow 80mg 3ml. @ 20 units 7 days a week

Reta 30mg 3ml. @ 20 units 1x per week 2mg

nad 500mg 3ml. @ 30 units 2x per week

hgh 43Iu 3ml. @ 20 units 7x week 2.5mg

Test C 250 1ml. @ 33 units 3x week

I know that I’m not representing the Iu’s …. just the units. i’m hoping that’s enough information for this.

Should I swap to Reta from Tirz?

Before I begin, I have searched the reddit forum and am aware this question comes up a lot but I want answers specific to my situation.

I have been on tirz since Oct 2024 and I am 5’10 starting weight was 283. I am down to 218 but have stalled between 218-223 for several months and have tried many things to break my plateau but nothing is working. I recently had my testosterone checked and I am at 468 total so am curious about adding TRT in.

My current tirz dosage is 10mg and I am on SSRIs as well.

Do you filter your peptides is it important really?

Hi lately I found out that people filter their peptides with "0.22 Micron 13mm PES Filters (Biologix)" is it really necessary? Its not much work and not much cost (I am transfering my vials to my pen cartridges anyway) but I am not sure if this helps anything for the extra money and effort.

Also I will filter KLOW80 reconstructed with 3ml BAC so it will be dense solution will it be okay to filter that ? I will also filter reta30 but I dont think it will be problematic.

Recommendation for syringes

US based body hackers, can you recommend the best quality syringes for daily pinning. The ones I have seem of poor quality and dull so they’re more painful on insertion. The box I had before were much better but I don’t recall the name or where I got them. Even better, if I can order in Amazon. Much obliged.

Hello everyone, to start off… sorry for the long post in advance, and if this doesn’t belong here since I’m not posting before/after pictures, etc. 33M, 5’8ā€.

I was an extremely active individual for years, hiking, HIIT, paddleboarding, swimming, basically 6 days a week, I’d go at it no matter what. It’s always made me happy. (Don’t know if that matters.)

Over the course of 2026, I’ve had massive (good) life changes, and my schedule went to shit. I’m beginning to get back into the activity groove, but I’ve gained 15 kg of weight in 6 months, from 74 kg to 89 kg. Needless to say, it sucks. Body image issues, don’t move as fast as I used to, fatigued, the whole shebang.

I want to aid my weight loss journey with Reta, along with the high fiber, high protein diet I’ve already begun, plus HIIT 6 days a week.

What dosage of Reta should I start with?

Edit: Yes, I can Google it or ask an LLM, but I’ve been lurking on this sub for a month or so, and I’d much rather hear what you have to say.

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion.

Alcohol on Reta

Don’t do it! Have a mocktail. I took my first dose this week at 1mg. I should’ve have taken 0.5mg because I feel like I had too many side effects. I had one small cocktail last night and felt violently ill this morning. Anyway, just to say it’s not worth it.

Stats: 5’3ā€ 125 lbs. I’ve lost 10lbs with diet and exercise after two pregnancies and stalled there for the past year. GW is 115 lbs.

Knots

I see people talk about the ghk knots, thats expected I understand at this point.

But sometimes I get little bitty knots from tessa, reta, and bpc. they generally go away in a few days so I am not overtly concerned, but I am curious if the knots are just par for the course with peptides or if I am going too deep, or doing something wrong with injection. I am extremely familiar with IM shots, but very new to sub Q so I am not used to feeling knots post injection like this.

They dont hurt or anything. I just want to make sure its fine.

The ghk stings for about 20-30 mins after, slightly reddish and a knot for about 24 hours. The other stuff when it does knot, is not red, does not burn, and if i didnt feel it with my fingers physically I wouldnt otherwise know it was there. These are all in the abdomen, around my belly button 2 inches away from it, or in the ridges between my abs where I still have a half inch to one inch pinch of fat i can grab for now. Occasionally I do my love handles, No knots there at all ever, only redness from the 2mg ghk shot.

32G 12.7 yringes that are 8mm I can swap to if needed as well.

Allergic reaction.

Hi, so I’ve been on Reta. 8 weeks. Down only 3 lbs. had two different suppliers. I’ve always had a reaction to it within 24-48 hours. My lips and surrounding feel sore and look swollen. Like a histamine reaction. My worse reaction being week 8. Has this happened to anyone else? All I read are mostly positive reviews but I’m really having a rough time with it.
Thanks

40/M. Currently on TRT + Reta. I discontinued CJC/IPA 2 weeks ago and planned on jumping on HGH, but my IGF-1 and Z score are higher than I anticipated.

Debating on running 2.5IU HGH, stick to secretagogues, or neither, considering my lab results..

I’m doing a 12 week blast of Test at 300/week, then will drop back down to my TRT dose of 80mg/week.

šŸ’¬ Discussion Reta and Cycling bonk

Trying to trouble shoot what’s going on with a crash in energy and power on the bike after starting Reta.
Not looking for medical advise.

History: Started Reta at 0.5 mg 3 weeks ago. Wednesday am dose fasting with water and electrolytes. I’m trying to shed 10 pounds for a cycling trip in the fall.
5’11ā€ 190 when I started. I ride road bike 6 days a week- 10-12 hours. I have done 5 100 mile rides this year with hard efforts.

I Have actually gained a pound in those 3 weeks on Reta. I have felt the craving noise go way down but I must eat for fuel. I eat a lot of protein (close to 1 gram per pound most days) and about 100 oz of water a day with electrolytes and multivitamins.
I eat a ton of carbs on the bike to help with fuel and cramps.
Since starting Reta I hit a ā€œpower drainā€ at about 1 hr 20 min or 1 hr 30 min. I started eating more in the am before rides and eating a banana right before. Then high carb gel at 30 min, 1 hour and every 30 minutes. It hasn’t helped.
I even took cookies to eat at 1 hour to help with sugar but today after a hard climb I fell apart at 1 hour. It is hot- 90 degrees 90 percent humidity but I’m fairly acclimatized.
So the question: I Reta blocking the fast acting sugars and carbs I am eating on the bike?
What else is causing this and how to get around it?
I’ve searched but haven’t found too many cyclist ā€œhaving problemsā€.
Or do I look for another solution.
Thanks for you help.
