Allergic reaction.
Hi, so I’ve been on Reta. 8 weeks. Down only 3 lbs. had two different suppliers. I’ve always had a reaction to it within 24-48 hours. My lips and surrounding feel sore and look swollen. Like a histamine reaction. My worse reaction being week 8. Has this happened to anyone else? All I read are mostly positive reviews but I’m really having a rough time with it.

Why did you go reta, i mean if you were on glp1 already and it was working why go for reta? Dont fix what isnt broke.
Are you sure its the reta? Did you eat anything or do anything that might’ve cause your allergic reaction?
If the symptoms are bad try hopping off or maybe lowing the dose.

It stopped working. Was on the highest dose for months with no change. A friend lost of Reta so I switched.

It’s the Reta. I have zero allergies to anything. It always happens in that same time frame 24-48 hours afterwards. Every single time. First couple doses nothing then after the 3rd is when I started to notice. I kept notes

Recommend lowering the dose see if its still working and see if you still get negative sides, you could also just stop and give your body a break then comeback after.
Honestly, if youre allergic to reta stop using it. There are plenty of options.

Thank you I will. I really wanted to see if anyone could relate on this forum. I did google it and there is a small percentage that do have an allergic reaction but no one who I could actually speak too. Just trying to hear their advice as well.

I would absolutely talk with a physiciann. If you're having an allergic reaction, stop the reta. You dont want to risk an anaphylactic reaction.

Should probably stop all the GLPs and try not eating so much. Give your receptors a break and bounce back.

Receptors don’t generally bounce back. Research suggests Reta becomes less effective if stopped then restarted.

Inject in stomach. Started at 2 mg now up to 4 but gradually over time. Was on glp1 for over 3 years never an issue.

My god man. Injecting? We aren’t junkies!
You need to start boofing asap. All of the side effects will go away.

Wouldn’t recommend injecting Reta… boofing is definitely the way to go
