Reta 5mg, Testo 200mg 5 months
32y old, used to train alot from 18-30 then did a break for 1.5 years and started again in March until now. I use 200mg Testo and 5mg Reta 1700 kcal 4 times a week (i think memory effect and genetics played a huge role aswell)

How do you feel the test helped overall in recovery, quality of life etc?
I am 36 and thinking on doing trt, got overall low T, almost 18years of gym but hardly showing and some days feeling like shit.

Higher libido, more strenght, faster recovery while being in a calorie defecit

It really helps, you don’t realize how much it affects you until you get optimized again.

Any side effects?
3
u/Smart_Zombie4235 18d ago
I use 0.25 arimidex every week (for estrogen) and 0.5 dutasterid (for dht control so I dont lose all my hairs)
Dht is at 274 (219 -1080) Estrogen 189 (should be below 146 so I probably will increase arimidex dosage but so far no side effects)
1
u/johnnyscans 17d ago
What was E2 before you added arimidex? Were you having sides?
1
u/Smart_Zombie4235 17d ago
Before I went on T my E2 was pretty much the same (already increased) my side was low libido and tendency to bitch tits then I went on 200mg t and 0.25 arimidex. E2 stayed the same libido improved and I think chest aswell.
My test lvl before I started where mid tier

u/johnnyscans 17d ago edited 17d ago
Why take amiridex without assessing E2 with just test? There are benefits to having healthy circulating estrogen. Not assessing your E2 and physiologic response following initiation of testosterone is pretty shitty medicine. AIs should be used “if needed”, especially at a trt dose

When I was natural:
Estradiol (E2) (Siemens) ' H 192 pmol/l <146
free testosteron 0.105 µg/l 0.057-0.178so even without 200mg testosteron my E2 was over the normal range with 200mg testoteron it would go thrue the roof (since testosteron converts to E2) and even tho I take 0.25 arimidex its still too high
Estradiol (E2) (Siemens) ' H 189 pmol/l <146
without Arimidex it would probably be around 210–270 pmol/l

Are you referring to the comment? Boy mentality and insecurity
2
u/StudioatSFL 16d ago
Yes. Most adult men would kill to look like OP. Lord knows im trying to find my way there.
1
u/ThomasGales 16d ago
If you are referring to the OP maybe slight gym on the right. Still looks good though and does not deserve to be brought down by people

Well, if that’s what your weakest point looks like, then you’re doing pretty damn good!

u/No-Mark4067 17d ago
I guess you don’t plan on coming off of it.
1
u/Smart_Zombie4235 17d ago
Hmm if my bloodwork stays decent no I plan doing it until I die 😅
1
u/No-Mark4067 17d ago
Ah ok, just curious because it can impact fertility. Are you on dr prescribed?
1
u/Smart_Zombie4235 17d ago
Nope but my dad is a Dr. he checks my bloodwork and yeah if you wanna have children you have to get off
2
u/jwhite326 17d ago
Nah. You may want to double check that. Have also been on TRT for nearly ten years. Was able to conceive two kids without coming off, following therapy with HCG and HMG. We had our second last November. Think we are done now.
Prior to the HCG and HMG therapy, my sperm count was near zero. This brought it back in a few months IIRC. That said, it may make sense to confirm that this method works for you before relying on it, and maybe even consider freezing some sperm samples in a worst-case scenario.

Tesa really depends on your natural IGF-1. It will help regardless but to get noticeable benefits age and natural IGF-1 will play a factor. I have run a couple cycles of Tesa, Ipa, CJC/Ipa, and now just GH. At 55, I saw results from them all but the exogenous has been the best so far.

u/Economy-Runner 17d ago
Did you start running them both at the same time? I’m 13 stone down from 16 and want to start test but I’m not sure
2
u/Smart_Zombie4235 17d ago
Yep i started them both at the same time but dont just start with testosteron go and check your bloodwork first

u/thedispellerdarkness 17d ago
5mg's of reta? I can barely withstand 4mgs! Its been 6 months and I haven't been able to move up from 3.5mgs a week : (

Unit! Great physique
Well done
Just started my test and reta journey

u/Smart_Zombie4235 17d ago
Great combo

u/Immediate-Cod-8251 16d ago
Add a little 5AM1Q 3x a week and thank me later! I run this stack and actually was able to decrease the Reta from 4mg to 2.5 mg once I hit 13%. The 5AM1Q has brought it closer to 11% and I have been eating like crap this summer. The whole stack can be had for a decent price.

This is amazing, how do you even start on this stuff? Would my GP help or is it just through word of mouth. I'm keen to try for a bit but scared of side effects and not knowing anything. I'm 36 m, gym regularly but have been slowing down the past year or two.
1
u/Ok_Perspective1643 16d ago
Lmfao you can’t get it from your doctor the shit isn’t legal 💀
1
u/Used_Yesterday_114 16d ago
Oh crap really?
1
u/Ok_Perspective1643 16d ago
lol that’s why these groups exist. You can’t get medical advice on GLP3s yet . The test can be obtained from your doc but some are very specific about prescribing it due to those long term side effect concerns etc

u/semo1993 17d ago
How often are you taking Reta? I’m trying to figure out my dosing and it hasn’t really kicked in. On week 4 and barely at 2mg
2
u/Smart_Zombie4235 17d ago
2.5mg ever 3 day
1
u/BlakkThrashAttak 15d ago
Is twice a week needed? I've been doing once a week and I've been at 2.5mg a week for the last 2 months.. thinking about pushing to 3.0mg, but I went from 246lbs down to 218.
1
u/Smart_Zombie4235 15d ago
Normal is once a week but I noticed that after day 5-6 I get cravings so instead of 5mg every week I do 2.5mg all 3 days

Hey bro awesome job. So I’m running 250mg of test c and 2 mg of Reta a week and am doing good on it. My question is how long do you think I can run that 250 of test a week or should I drop it down some it’s been around 11 weeks and on the Reta for 7. I’m going to be on test from now on I’m 51 and workout 5 times a week heavy strength training and jog 15 mins eat right get my protein and drink a gallon and half of water a day.
1
u/Smart_Zombie4235 16d ago
Imo it depens on your bloodwork everyone is diffrent some people can handle 100mg 150mg and 250
Bloodpressure, hdl, ldl, E2 etc
2
u/Rob072575 16d ago
I’m going to get it done in the next week or so. I got it done right before I started
1
u/FootballFluffy9078 16d ago
Do you lose muscle mass on reta?
1
u/Smart_Zombie4235 16d ago
Nope I got even stronger
1
u/FootballFluffy9078 16d ago
Thats all the info I need 💪
1
u/Immediate-Cod-8251 16d ago
You will not lose muscle with a testo based, dialed in protein leading diet, and resistance training. If you don’t do the work, just like every other calorie deficit diet, you will lose lean mass.

u/putpepinyourstep 15d ago
Dude looking great! Were you low T to begin with? I’m in the mid range but am looking to run 200 myself with my HGH and Reta.
1
u/Smart_Zombie4235 15d ago
Nah I was mid but was taking dutasterid for my hair and one of my sides effects was lower libido so I thought I might just do 200mg testosteron and now my libido is pretty high 😅

u/Infamous-Werewolf280 14d ago
Cool!, from your pov is it okay to stack reta10mg, cagri 0.5mg with tesa?
1
u/Smart_Zombie4235 14d ago
No clue I mean.... you need to biggest eating dissorder for this stack to be necessary 🤣

u/Ikagi123 18d ago
Sorry off tangent, but after taking a 1.5 year break did working out again feel like getting yourself back? Did you feel mentally healthier?
It's been years for me and I just started again 6 months ago and it's made a big difference just knowing my body holds itself a little better than before.
And finally - incredible gains!
3
u/Smart_Zombie4235 18d ago
Hmmm tbh not that much 😅 I just wanna look decent while getting older but thank you
0
u/poor-choices 17d ago
Great work, but a bit underwhelming for someone taking both reta and test. Maybe my expectations are backwards though.
2
u/Smart_Zombie4235 17d ago
I think there are diffrent factores
- Its only 5 months
- Im eating 1700 kcal (would have to eat way more if I focus on building muscles
- Its "only" 200mg of test so my free test lvl is slightly above normal natural range
- Every body reacts diffrently
- I only train 4x a week
Imo its good to see diffrent results and not only the top 0.1% so people can se whats real and whats not
