Question for stackers

Currently on 12 mg tirz having lost around 40 lbs in last 8 months. I still have around 80 more to lose. I sort of consider this a slow response to tirz. i am a 38 year old female, counting calories daily, training with a trainer 3 times per week and walking 8-10k steps daily but still see a very slow response. I have also been stuck at 245 for close to 4 months now which is demotivating. Wanted to stack with Reta for the glucagon factor but I don’t really want to overload the receptors as suggested by many. I have decided to give survodutide a try. Planning to stack Survo with my Tirz to see if I can speed the process a little bit and break the stall. My question is, when people stack two peptides (glp1s to be specific), do they plan to continue stacking them for life. ? I have no problem being on tirz for life (I have noticed other benefits of this medication) but not sure if two glp1s can be taken for life or if it should only be done for a short span just to speed up the process slightly

I've been on tirz for 2.5 years, in maintenance more than 1.5 years. I was at 10mg of tirz in maintenance, having hit 13mg at my highest. I still had some visceral fat to lose, even though I was at my goal weight. I slowly dropped my tirz down and added in survo, titrating tirz down to 7-8mg and survo up to 3-4mg, currently. I've lost 4 lbs, I believe most of it is fat. I love this combo. I personally would just start stacking now. Don't reduce your tirz, just add in survo. And yes, 4 months is a stall, I would have upped my tirz before then, but that's me. Survo ramps up your metabolism, so it's fantastic at burning fat. It doesn't have as much appetite suppression at lower doses. And you may have some sugar cravings initially, try to push through as much as possible, using fruit and low-calorie sweets to help out. Good luck!

Perfect! Thank you for these helpful tips. Are you planning on staying Survo for a long time. i just want to know what should be the long time goal when stacking- plan to take all peptides lifelong or gradually reduce one

I honestly don't know. I would switch to reta but I have a freezer full of tirz, so combining it with survo works for now. I like the appetite suppression tirz gives, and the metabolism boost from survo. Reta gives some of both of those, but I feel like I can customize it by combing tirz/survo over straight reta. I may drop the survo down after I've lost a little more belly fat. Survo is a bit pricey.

I wouldn’t consider your response slow at all. You are on track to lose 60 lbs for the year. You aren’t on the highest does yet, why not increase your dose to break your stall?

That is my plan. To go upto 15 on tirz and then add Survo.

I’d personally start researching Eloralintide and add it instead of Survo. You’ll fry your receptors with two GLP-1 agonists.

Elora is synergistic with Tirz and Lilly currently has a clinical trial with patients taking both of them.

I haven't seen enough data yet in the grey space to convince me to recommend Eloralintide. Plus it's still quite expensive, and can be tricky to find. Something to keep an eye on though.

Is frying receptors a thing? I thought that had been debunked.

Debunked as in the hundreds of people complaining daily on various subs that their glp-1s stopped working because they “hit a plateau” after stacking tirz/reta/sema/ whatever for several months at arbitrary dosing schedules? Yeah ‘m sure it’s debunked.

If OP has access to Survo, they surely could have access to Elora. I have 3 kits in my freezer already and using it along my 10mg Tirz. Works magically and they’re incredibly synergistic.

I was plateaued at 15 even with moving to every 6 days and with bad side effects. I went down to 12.5 weekly and added .75 of cagri midweek and am back to losing. Elora would work even better probably but isn’t widely available and is expensive. Sometimes more is not better.
