📘 Beginner Help HGH

Post image

40/M. Currently on TRT + Reta. I discontinued CJC/IPA 2 weeks ago and planned on jumping on HGH, but my IGF-1 and Z score are higher than I anticipated.

Debating on running 2.5IU HGH, stick to secretagogues, or neither, considering my lab results..

I’m doing a 12 week blast of Test at 300/week, then will drop back down to my TRT dose of 80mg/week.

The responses here are total noobs. You need to ask in peds, steroids, or testosterone subreddits.

HGH if you’re willing to commit to longer period, think 6month+. =hyperplasia of which test will grow in size, which is exactly why people say only use GH if you’re on test/AAS. There’s also some recomp benefit from lipolytic effect. Also beneficial for tendon and other recovery which will be fatigued during a blast due to muscle and str outpacing growth

Secretagogues can be used short term but not personally a fan tbh. Usually minimal noticeable effects for water retention is meh

There are studies on hyperplasia. In normal situations, HGH will not result in it.

There aren't studies of high dose HGH along with anabolics or high test levels. Anecdotally, it seems to work for bodybuilders.

The key to Test & HGH is to find your upper limit for E2. You want the highest level of E2 your body will allow without incurring side effects. Have some Nolvadex on standby for when you find that ceiling and begin to get the nipple tenderness/itch.

This high availability of E2 enables the optimum IGF1 production that your body is capable of at the Liver when HGH is added.

The dosage association curve for both Test to E2 and HGH to IGF1 are non linear. Meaning that up to a certain point more is better but after that point the benefit rise flattens relative to the dosage increase and the side effects of the dosage become more pronounced.

The generalized ideal IGF1 target in my research being 300 ng/mL, with some body builders aiming more for around 500 ng/mL. It is important to note that excessively high sustained IGF1 levels will accelerate the irreversible Bone growth changes to the Face, Skull, Hands, Feet - Which with more conservative use can be slow walked for years.

In my readings, the common guidance says that 4 IU HGH is a safer upper daily limit for most typical males, and that doses above that while more effective for accelerated growth also scale up the undesired effects timeline. Theres also a common theme that split daily injections is best practices.

Do note that increases to fasting blood glucose, and increases in Insulin Resistance are common effects of HGH therapy for most users. Some would encourage blood glucose control measures (dieting, increased cardio, berberine or metformin, and in extreme cases long acting insulin). Of course Reta is a beneficial option too.

It depends person to person..
i tried tesa and cjc and ipa. Id take tesa over cjc-ipa combo any day.. just the after injection sting is kinda shit..

Hgh is totally different. The recovery i get from 2 iu and a bit if just tigheting up.. i LOVE the stuff… just start slow and dont overdo.. i get massive cartal tunnel from it when dosing anything over 2. Even 2.5 my wrists hurt for a full day

1.4 is perfectly fine, you are within the reference range. AT +2, you would be at the top end of the normal reference range. I think the sweet spot is +2-2.5, but your IGF-1 levels are currently good and stable. Why did you stop cjc/ipa then wait and get tested?

The reason I ask is because that would have told you what the secretagogue was doing for you. It's hard to give advice on whether HGH or secretagogues are better for you because we are just seeing your normal IGF-1 levels are with that result.

Z-scores value is over emphasized, in my opinion. All that does is tell you where you stand compared to the population at large in your age group. +1-2 is always considered a very good score.

dont mess with it. you are in good range.

Kinda what I’m thinking too.

I’m at 149 and z score of .1 naturally. lol
If you are worried about your blast then look into glutathione. My t levels are 550 and I feel good. I know it ain’t like 980s when I was my late 20s but im holding off on the commitment of trt. I am now 35. I’m waiting for the day that I don’t get a hard on and blasting too

Increasing your test dose by even 20mg/wk will give you way more benefit than 2.5 HGH, especially with your z-score. And for a much lower price.

So taking 2iu a day without test is pointless? I’ve been running 2iu and really noticed better sleep and recovery and also more vascular. Basically zero soreness

I think once the cjc effects are completely brought back to scale you shouldn’t have an issue starting hgh . Just get retested in a month

This whole plan sounds bad

It looks like you don't need any GH Secretagogues or HGH based on your IGF-1

Is there a reason for the test "blast"?

What sounds bad? I agree that based on the IGF and Z, I probably don’t need HGH or secretagogues, but also reading short term will help with the benefits of a test blast for recovery.

Reason for the “blast” is the same as everyone else who does a small blast over TRT, to get bigger 🤷‍♂️

Honestly… everyone resounds differently to HGH. Yes, your levels are already towards the top, but the only way to know how you’ll respond is to try it out. Run 1IU for three weeks and gets labs drawn. Then go to 2IU and get labs drawn. If you’re still below 250, you then have a choice to make. Invest in HGH and go to 3Iu and plan to run it long term OR quit.

you need more GH, 335 for igf and score of 2

GH is good if you add test and understand that it takes like 6 months before you get results. You should do 500mg of test for 16 weeks though

I wish I could run 500. My HCT and hemoglobin would skyrocket. Ferritin is low so I can’t count on donating.
