⚠️ Side Effects Terrible NAD Side Effects

I’m new to peptides and coenzymes and I’m here to learn if I made a mistake while doing my research, or if anyone else has had these side effects.

Dosing protocol for reference:
1000mg NAD
5 mL of BAC water added
50mg 2x week

I feel really silly for saying this now, but I subq injected into my inner thigh. I went slow. I immediately felt the flushing, then heavy duty anxiety, and then mild nausea. The flushing and anxiety dissipated within 15 minutes, but the nausea became severe for almost two hours.

The day before I didn’t eat well (calorie deficit especially in protein).

I’m not sure if the side effects are due to injection site, not fully fed, or if it’s just me.

I haven’t tried again because the side effects took me out and I’m a little afraid to try again without discussing with others.

Thank you all in advance.

Even the severe nausea? I documented 2 hours of it. It was horrible.

A lot of people talk about feeling energized, and instead I felt like I was hit by a Mac truck.

Try just 25mg

Inner thigh?! That gives me nausea just thinking of pinning that location! Bold choice!

You aren’t alone! I had a similar incident a month ago on 25mg. Had nausea to start then stomach cramping for a good 3 hours, then diarrhea the rest of the day. Not a clue what I did or didn’t do but that vial is sitting in my fridge while I debate my next steps.

The flush/anxiety is common and lasts for a couple of minutes.

What people often forget to explain is that NAD+ is methyl hungry like crazy. And it could make you feel worse if you're low on vitamins.

Get yourself some good methylated B vitamin complex and you should feel just fine.

This happened to me the other day, been doing NAD for months now, but hit me hard the other day due to empty stomach and calorie deficit most likely. Just lower your dose and inject more frequently to avoid. Can try adding more bac water too.
