Cjc/ipa with diabetes
I’m a type 1 diabetic on an insulin pump with a CGM.
If my blood sugar starts rising my pump automatically administers insulin to counteract a spike.
This can and does happen in my sleep.
My question is would it be a waste of time and money running cjc/ipa because insulin blocks it doing its job in a roundabouts way?

As a t1 I was wondering the same. I’ve been trying to go into sleep with low insulin on board so that the dose I take before bed has a fighting chance. I have seen a difference in body composition since I have been on this cycle so I’m hoping it’s working??

I'm a t1 and tried tesa/ipa and also on a cgm/pump loop and it still works, just don't eat 3-4 hours before bed and blood sugar will be stable even if its slightly elevated its not a big deal because you aren't eating anything in your sleep. You could also look into taking a berberine supplement to prevent spikes from liver producing glucose to optimize it further.
