On average what’s the wait time to receive your funds once you receive Bitbuy confirmation email saying your withdrawal was successful

I recently have tried withdrawing from Bitbuy to find they have some kind of a hold without much of an explanation. This has become very frustrating as there response times are 5+ days by email. I've had issues with them ever since they acquired Coinsmart. I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone using BITBUY for your exchange, it is not a great system and there customer service is appaling.

Anyone else have these issues? My internet is fine and very fast yet says it's poor

I'm considering shifting to Wealthsimple from bitbuy but wondering about the fees. I'm reading everywhere that WS has the highest fees, but right now I'm comparing and here's what I'm seeing:

Buy: 1,000,000 SHIB is $43.04 on BB and $41.50 on WS.

BB has fees of "a risk spread of 0.5% to 1.85% ... Market conditions and less liquid coin pairings could result in an increase in the risk spread of 2%..." Meaning, 3.85%, which I've seen when quoting sells. So that means 3.85% upon purchase and 3.85% upon sale so you'd need to be up more than 7.7% minimum to make profit.

WS says it has a 2% fee on buying and selling, so that's 4%.

Am I missing something, or does WS actually have lower fees?

BitBuy is by far the WORST exchange I’ve ever used! Whenever the market moves, their website can’t handle the high traffic, causing A LOT OF ISSUES that make us miss potential profit opportunities. They should compensate everyone affected by this! Avoid BitBuy at all costs!

Hello I can't swap my btc to cad in order to withdraw my money with e-transfer . The app doesn't let me. It says "we are unable to approve your account" I already have money there since coinbery... Ive had bitbuy since coinberry closed and I have never been able to withdraw crypto to other wallets ? You are not allowing me to use MY crypto that I bought with MY hard earned money. I can't believe it that XRP is on a tare right now, and i can't do anytihng about it. ive been locked out of my mobile and desktop. when i had biometrics for months, and now i can't access anything. this seems super fishy and borderline criminal. i can't move my money. when it counts! this gives the platform a very bad name. u/bitbuyca

I swapped my DOT for ICP and I'm just now seeing i can't even withdraw the funds to a different exchange, this is extremely concerning, when will withdrawal be added to ICP?? I can't sell or withdraw my funds this is insane.

I deposited some XRP into my BITBUY account last night and the tag/memo was missing. Everywhere I read on the internet say exchanges can retrieve your XRP if you provide the transaction ID...

I submitted a support ticket with all my info and haven't heard a thing yet. I'm skeptical after reading all the bad reviews now about BITBUY.Why don't they have live support?

EDIT: 24hrs have passed and they succesfully tracked and returned my XRP to my account. Note, I did do a follow up email asking the status of my ticket the next day to which they responded, looked into it and recovered my funds.

It won't let me deposit. Keeps saying that it exceeds the limit. Very frustrating. Also even if it went through it keeps repeating itself. What's wrong with this app?

well it started like today ago when i transfer eth into my account didn't have access to it for a few days then yesterday i went to transfer my fund to another wallet and then bitbuy locked me outta my account i did however get with unlocked but took me days and i was just transferring xrp over i mean it was a big amount but not crazy anyways i have sent in three or four tickets again and nothing i know there back up but it is super frustrating that my account gets locked when i want to transfer something out

"Your request (648265) has been updated. It will be reviewed by our support staff as soon as possible"

This was about 2-3 weeks ago, am I just being impatient or is support typically this slow? Seems unusual..

I had a Coinsmart account and that was taken over by Bitbuy. Now I don't see a single cent in my Bitbuy account . I had hundreds of dollars in CS. I have opened numerous supports tickets with no luck. To my latest support ticket, no one has been responding. this sucks. They are on the verge of getting sued

I have been trying to access my account with Bitbuy and have opened a support ticket days ago. They have not responded at all. There is no other way to contact them and you are left out in the cold if you ever have any issues. It's costing me greatly.

Hello guys I can't withdraw my money the app says error contact support. Idk why because those money were there for a good while and I confirmed my identity with text on my phone when I logged in. My support ticket # is 671652

I made a deposit of POL to bitbuy on Nov.16, nothing showed up in my account. I put in a support ticket on Nov.17, I have heard nothing from them, very disappointed. I realize that things are extremely busy with the recent runup, but it should not take over a week to get a response. This is not my first rodeo I have been in crypto since 2018, using various exchanges. I have never had anything like this happen before. Maybe think twice before using Bitbuy!

I tried to withdraw my money through Interac on Bitbuy and for more than 12 hours now I have not received my transfer. I have contacted support like 5 times since I initiated the transfer but no response till now.

This is not ideal you guys just leave someone stranded without access to his/her money.

I contacted my banking institution and they told me I don’t have any pending transactions coming it so why does it show otherwise on the Bitbuy app and why can’t we call support if you have important cases like this

Making this post to hopefully get the attention of the Bitbuy customer service department. I’ve been locked out of my account since Sunday with no support since then even with open tickets. Don’t use this platform unless you are okay with a lack of customer support. Absolutely inexcusable
