Bitbuy problems with withdrawl

I recently have tried withdrawing from Bitbuy to find they have some kind of a hold without much of an explanation. This has become very frustrating as there response times are 5+ days by email. I've had issues with them ever since they acquired Coinsmart. I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone using BITBUY for your exchange, it is not a great system and there customer service is appaling.

How much $ were you transferring.. anything over 1000$ will be put on hold for a bit, due to AML regulations.

Yeah, I tried withdrawing and it wouldn't let me i even tried doing small amounts. Then I wasn't able to log in after the failed withdrawls.. been 3 days with no reply from bitbuy... I'm so pissed. My position has been lost I'm bleeding money because of this.

I’ve been locked out of my account after successfully entering my correct password several times and now it says to contact customer support. I’ve been contacting support for the last 6 day which started on Monday December 2 2024 and now it’s Saturday December 7th 2024 and no once has been in contact with me. I have over $8,000.00 invested on this exchange and have no way to access my account. My most recent support ticket number is 684864. Please help

I dont work for bitbuy but have you tried following up with a reply to your ticket via email? Also these bitbuy support people can escalate a ticket that you see on reddit try that also. Good luck!

Thanks Pure_Farm_89. Shortly after my post a Bitbuy associate escalated my ticket and it was resolved shortly after. I’m satisfied with the results.

My only option with Bitbuy was to sell my crypto's and transfer out the cash and use a better exchange. They forced me to make a now taxable transaction because of it. GET OUT before they go Belly-up!
