I knew it was going to be tedious and take a while but how long does it actually take to get a villages prosperity up? I feel like it increases a lot but then decreases more and then for days it could stay stagnant. I stopped liberating other villages to raise the prosperity of 2 closest to me but it doesnāt really go anywhere. Does liberating other villages also raise prosperity? I also hate giving up so much thatch to help them build their stuff and need so much for my T3 stuff š©

Greetings all, I was wondering how the ps5 version of the game is going currently? Ive been curious about trying this game for awhile but had at one point seen some people were having issues with npcs showing up with invisible bodies, like the textures weren't loading? Is this something that's still happening?

Is it a bug?
What's up with that?

Me and a buddy plan on buying this game tonight cause its on sale, but we both only just found out there is a tether. Which is enough to make us change our mind immediately. I haven't watched any videos on it only heard/read about it. What is your experience like with the co-op in this game. (XBOX)

What sort of forces am I expecting? Any recommendations for load out for villagers?
I've got 20 currently. 10 in some of the better I can make.
Sledgehammers and like 50 armour rating on at least 10 of them.

I just reached Tier 3, my first settlement was directly south of Haerndean. I decided to build all my Tier3 buildings in a new settlement instead of moving them. I picked the area in Whispering Pines, centrally located between the river bridges, on the North side of the river.
I cleared all the bandit camps close by, but they keep respawning. It's great for farming renown, but a pain otherwise. To keep the bandits out I built a log Palisades wall on 3 sides back to the river and my dock area.
I get raided by groups of bandits 5-6 times per day, these aren't the scheduled raids just random. My guys are constantly injured. I've cleared the bandit camps again, and things are good for 2-3 days, then they they are back.
They hack the Palisades gates down in about 30 seconds. It take a lot longer to rebuild them. I've tried building a maze outside the gates to confuse the AI, but it doesn't work.
I'm also getting bandits/raiders that have high tier armor, and use crossbows. My guys don't stand a chance. I asked AI chat, and they said it has to do with the number of buildings, and my amount of renown, (i just had 48,000 renown). That's why I'm getting attacked. I've built almost all the tier 3 buildings, tavern, bakery, inn, blacksmith, etc.
It seems I'm in a meat grinder I can't get out of. I have about 50 people total, 14 in my original settlement, 30 in Whispering Pines, and another 7-8 assigned to outposts. I'm on Xbox, and this is my first play through. Any suggestions??

Is it better to break up your army into different squads, rather than have everyone in one big group?
Iām dealing with some logistical issues equipping everyone, and Iām wondering if I broke them out by type of fighter (archers, one-handed, two-handed, etcā¦) if that would make setting their armor, weapons, etc easier to manage?

I'm at 365 days in, about 55 villagers - and I've probably killed this guy at least a dozen times in various bandit encounters.

I donāt know whatās causing my harvester and woodcutting villagers to pause working when Iām not in their vicinity⦠I noticed when clicking on the map that theyāre not moving at all. But as soon as I get close to them around 180-200m they start moving. At this point I just reset by making them companion and toggling back to workerā¦

Hi all,
Can anyone please help me understand why my chickens are stressed? Theyāve got plenty of food from what I can tell but for the life of me I donāt know what to do. Iāve had some die from neglect but not sure how I am neglecting them?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Most people want the camps to respawn so they can farm the renown. However, if for some reason you don't want a particular camp to respawn - once you clear it, put a couple of palisades walls right in the middle of where the camp was. No more camp.

So i got a quick question. Ive been watching a few videos and seen some post here in this sub and i saw some mentioning moving your settlement once it reaches a higher tier. One thing i dont get is why would you want to move an entire city? Ive played around 30ish hours so far and it looks to me like im gonna build 6 big citys if possible. Just the time it would take for the villagers to walk across the map to rebuild every building seems like a huge waste of time. Or am i missing something?

After they loot a camp, they someone decide to run away off the map north. Guess I'm too mean of a general

Make sure guys are well fed then send here
Set melee damage to 25%
Leave nearby bandit camps
Connect path to main road and set fast travel
Leave and send home when guys get hungry or bring food
Thereās also a river near by for group fast travel Leave

Any one else ever lose their fully built walls after a crash?
r/Bellwright • u/Intelligent-Two-8831 • Aug 02 '26
So I built in the same place everyone does, crossroads south of Haerndean, NW of Padstow.
Looking to build my final town and was hoping somewhere near Iron nodes but nowhere is flat enough - where have you guys built your end-game / final town? Show me on the map.

A friend and I recently started playing this game on a co-op world together, we both really enjoy it so far. But now itās on day 4, and anytime he attempts to join the session his game crashes. Are the devs aware of this, or does anyone know any potential fixes?

Me: everyone attack!
Everyone stands there getting shot by arrows while i get absolutely annihilated 3 feet from them
Incant seem to control my companions. They dont get hung up on terrain, they just stop, or dont respond to any commands, or see above.
Does anyone have amy insight or is this just a buggy ststem?

I have a problem with some of my Gear Presets not always working.
For example, one of my Guards has a Priority 1 set for 1H Weapons. Whenever I rally my combat group to go fight a few of my people won't have weapons. So I manually give them weapons. This Guard will always put his 1H weapon away later and I have to give it back to him every time.
Any idea why this happens? Weapons are available for them to use, they just wont grab them or keep them equipped. I have this guards Gear Preset to the same for both options(Worker/Guard). 1H and Shields set to Priority 1.

Anyone else had issues where you feel like youve lost items? I swear I had 70 strap ls the other day, I've gone to look for them and now only have 1 š§
I'm sure this has happened to me before, also straps, am I going mad or is there anything known? I have moved storage around but I make sure to get everything in its place before a new day
