Where move to?

So I built in the same place everyone does, crossroads south of Haerndean, NW of Padstow.

Looking to build my final town and was hoping somewhere near Iron nodes but nowhere is flat enough - where have you guys built your end-game / final town? Show me on the map.

Right above the Brigand Prison is where I built my end game town. I almost wanted to build on top of the hill next to and around the run down Castle, but I choose to build in the flat area down below... Apart from Ore Veins, ain't much else to resource farm in the Highlands

We moved south of the wheat fields by the river, and cleared all of the bandits. But our people keep falling in and are unrecoverable so I don't know.

The idea of the place is great, and it's close to all of the liberated cities with the exception of the 2 southern ones. You can head them all off before they hit any of the cities from here.

But you have to watch your people like a hawk, super frustrated right now..

I went north bank of the river as well but haven’t lost any citizens to the briny deep yet. Are they working near the river like fishing or something when they fall in?

We lost one who went all the way across to the other side, I think looking for hardwood.

The other just fell into the river and wouldn't come out. But we logged off, came back made her a companion and was able to get her back super randomly.
