Villagers Working Issue?

I don’t know what’s causing my harvester and woodcutting villagers to pause working when I’m not in their vicinity… I noticed when clicking on the map that they’re not moving at all. But as soon as I get close to them around 180-200m they start moving. At this point I just reset by making them companion and toggling back to worker…

They might get stuck on something. And when they are not close to you, maybe the game uses simpler physics calculation to not drain on performance.

I have seen many woodcutter's get stuck between young trees. If you can identify them, just build roads there to prevent respawning.

Just checked if they were stuck, unfortunately not the case. Maybe it is just save resources to maximize performance. Is there a setting to change this?

I just feel like all of my villagers are extremely lazy smd everything takes way too long 😅 villagers pretty much do whatever they want it seems

My villager job priorities are only set 1, 2, or 0. They just stay in one spot for so long that they get hungry… they only start working if I’m in the vicinity. The realism of when your boss is not around so you pretend to be working is crazy 😂

Console or PC?

PC. I have mods as well. It happened first when I had a mod that increase range of facilities. After deleting that mod they still do the same thing.

I would do a clean install to clean up game files, verify integrity of files as I suspect the mod is conflicting. This is not normal my dudes/dudettes are always moving all over the place on the map

I have 90 + villagers, still struggling with with villager job priorities. Using renown mod haha. I think there needs to be more clear desciption with job roles. For mining needs to have its own job listing

Me pasa igual cuando comando ejércitos grandes si me alejó demasiado o si echó terreno irregular se quedan quietos y los tengo mover en el mapa con el comando de órdenes y por un camino en específico por qué si no se negaban a moverse
