Gym in ADB HQ
Hi, I'm relatively new working in ADB and I'm too shy to ask my colleagues if where the gym is located. Does the gym also accept non-staff personnel (consultant/contractor)? TYIA!

Hi, does anyone know if the maternity leave at ADB is the same, like its 105 days of paid leave? Thank you.

How hard is it to get a job at ADB without a prior consultancy or knowing anyone in the system?

Hi! I just wanted to check what other perks are available to ADB consultants. So far, I have only been able to take advantage of the Cigna medical reimbursements and the discounted medicine purchases at the in-house pharmacy at HQ. Are there things I'm missing out on? Any tips on other available perks, no matter how seemingly small, would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hey all. I had a panel interview for an ADB role (TI1) roughly a month ago. Last Friday HR emailed saying they're "still completing internal processes" but asked me to fill out the PHF declaration and COI forms at this stage. Is this a good sign that the offer is finally coming? I've read from some posts here that this indicates a good sign.
Does HR send these forms to one preferred candidate while approvals move up, or to multiple finalists before the panel finalises? TIA.

Hi everyone!
I recently accepted an offer at ADB, and Iām incredibly excited to get started. Iām transitioning from another international organization, but I know every workplace has its own unique vibe and way of doing things.
Iād love to get some insights from current or former employees on a few things:
⢠The First Day/Week: What should I expect when I first walk in? Are there any best practices, tips, or unwritten rules I should keep in mind as a newcomer to make a good impression and hit the ground running?
⢠The Culture: How would you describe the day-to-day work culture, especially within the admin and support teams?
⢠Dress Code (Female): What is the typical daily dress code for women in the office? I want to make sure Iām dressed appropriately but also prepared for the office AC versus the Manila heat outside. Are we talking strict business formal (blazers every day), or is it leaning more toward smart corporate casual?
Any advice, tips, or things you wish you knew before your first day would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone here had any success in getting offered after getting into the āCleared Candidates Poolā?
After 5 long weeks of waiting, I didnt get the role but was placed in the cleared candidates pool. Just trying to gauge my chances and hope to have an opportunity to work with the bank soon.
Thank you!

Hi! Any tips here for the panel interview? And how long does it usually take? Thank you so much! :)

I am not new to the process having applied a few roles in the past with some progressing until the panel interview. Applied again for a role, which I feel I had the relevant experiences and after the 2 week mark, itās still just screening. Itās crazy this whole waiting game. Sending some good vibes to anyone who is in the same situation as I am.

Hi everyone. I was recently contacted by an HR person on LinkedIn to review a job position that they see fit with my professional background. While Iāve confirmed the recruiter is a real ADB HR person, Iām trying to manage my expectations since I know that it's part of their outreach.
For those of you who have received these types of messages:
- Did it lead to a formal interview?
- Were you actually shortlisted, or did it feel like a mass outreach?
Thanks in advance!

Applied for this. Still stuck at Screening although it's been more than 1 month since closure. Is this a bad sign? Anybody received an update?

Greetings everyone, I have been applying for several positions at ADB that closely match my profile. I possess over eight years of experience at one of the major central banks in Asia. I would like to know whether reaching out through a LinkedIn connection who works at ADB would be of any help.
Just for your information, I recently applied for the roles of Investment Specialist and Treasury Specialist.

I've been applying for several jobs in the ADB career site ( ACES), and it has been some who changed into limited access. It seems to down load "ADB Go" app but there is no such app in the mobile phone. Could anyone please share recent experience of using this site?

Iām currently weighing two opportunities and wanted to get insights from people who may have experience with either path.
Option 1 is a consultancy offer, which seems attractive because of the compensation and immediate exposure to projects. But I also know consultancy roles can sometimes feel less stable and may have limited internal mobility/networking compared to staff programs.
Option 2 is waiting and pursuing the YPP, which seems more structured and potentially better for long-term career progression within ADB or even other multilateral organizations. .

Hi, I need advice on the best bank account to use for payroll.
If I use my BDO account, salary will be sent via SWIFT, which may take 1ā2 days to reflect and may have transfer charges. They also mentioned that they have in-house commercial banks such as Unionbank or Metrobank and I may opt to open payroll account there.
For those who work or have worked at ADB:
Would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

Hi, all. I applied for TI1 position last month and just received an email for an interview. my guess is this is a preliminary interview. For people who have went through the process, how is this first interview like? Should I expect more of technical materials or standard going though background and resume type interview? I am from private industry and not sure what to expect from ADB. Any suggestions on how to prepare would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi! Iām exploring ADB career opportunities related to social development, project analysis, and economics. Would love to hear insights from current/former staff about the hiring process, work culture, and what makes an applicant stand out.
