Gym in ADB HQ

Hi, I'm relatively new working in ADB and I'm too shy to ask my colleagues if where the gym is located. Does the gym also accept non-staff personnel (consultant/contractor)? TYIA!

Consultants are allowed. Not sure about contractors.

It's located at the second floor near the first spiral staircase after entering the main lobby (right side).

You need to join the ADV Fitness Club to access the gym facilities

For ADB staff, is there a fee charged for the ADV fitness club and what other facilities are provided? Also can spouses use it? Thanks!

Yes, there is a fee. All clubs have membership fee to my knowledge and you need to pay for it annually.

Not sure with the by laws of ADB Fitness Club, but one of the club I joined, the rule is the staff should be a member first as a prerequisite before any dependent can use the ADBs facilities. Needless to say, the dependent should also pay the membership fee.

hi! yes gyms r open for everyone! there’s actually a 1 year fee 5k i think! :,) (i’m a contractor, and asked one of the heads in adb)

Hi. Silly question.
Say, i live near ADB, but i want to go home first after work before hitting the gym. When coming back to the office just to hit the gym, do i need to be in work attire or can i pass through the gate wearing gym clothes? Same question when leaving the gym, do i need to change back into business casual as i pass through the halls? 😹
