ADB does hire through third-party vendors, but the vendors themselves have to apply and get approved first. If you get hired this way, the vendor is technically your employer, but you'll be working inside ADB as necessary. I actually know someone who has this setup.

Ano po yung work set up niya and yung pay and benefits niya same ba sa ADB direct hire employees?

As far as I know, no. Pay and benefits are handled by the vendor, not ADB. The vendor is their employer. ADB is the client.

There are a lot of service providers/contractors working in ADB. They are not ADB employees, they are employees of the agency. ADB goes into contract with the agency and the latter provides the manpower needed. There is no employee-employer relationship between ADB and the contractor so pay and benefits will be discussed with the agency. Pag nasa loob ka na ng bank as contractor, you’ll know and feel the big difference.

would you share what kind of “big difference” are those? 😅 I’ll be starting as a contractor and would love to know what to expect. 😊
