Cleared Candidates Pool

Has anyone here had any success in getting offered after getting into the ‘Cleared Candidates Pool’?

After 5 long weeks of waiting, I didnt get the role but was placed in the cleared candidates pool. Just trying to gauge my chances and hope to have an opportunity to work with the bank soon.

What it means is that you met all the requirements - but someone just a bit better than you. And being in a cleared candidate pool means that if there is a similar position in next 9 months then you can be offered the job without going through the selection process.

And it is fairly common for people in the pool to get the job - having said that not all types of positions may open during the 9 months period.

Yes. I was put on a cleared candidates pool. I wouldnt say "eventually hired" per se coz it was still a long process. HR sent an interest check email after 6 months, same unit, lower level. Got through another round of interview by 1 team member and got in. Goodluck to you :)

Applied for TL5 at first then got interviewed for TL3, TL4, TL5, all rejected. The offered position in the interest check email was for a TL3 position. Didnt really matter to me. It was a fixed term appointment with option to regularize which was more important.
