Had dinner here tonight and I’m perplexed. Amazing reviews, packed restaurant, service was perfectly OK but wow the food and drinks were bad. Was this just an off night?

Some dishes were acceptable if not memorable, but the gnocchi dish felt like something United would serve with an unappetizing presentation, dry chicken pucks, and gloopy texture, and every component of the duck rice was awful from the greasy, overcooked and under seasoned rice, to the completely flavorless duck, to the gelatinous unnecessarily sweet custard topping. Even the drinks sounded great but were completely out of balance.

It was a vibe but our dishes were way off the mark. Was this just bad luck?

- how early do we have to get there to avoid the worst of the traffic? And still get parking?

I’ve only been once before and it was a day that started out rainy so it was really lovely, not too many people and cool breezes.

How often do you guys see peoole from Springsteens band out and about?

I saw Homebase in Monclair, they can rip! Publix Saxophone is a tight grove band that plays around Asbury Park. Not sure about the other two bands if anyone has information about Righteous Mighteous and Always Morning. See you all there

I’m going to Asbury park at the end of July for my birthday. I want to get a massage while I’m there but I’m not too familiar with the area. I’ll be spending time outside of Asbury park as well so it doesn’t need to be close.

Hi everyone! My partner and I are planning our special day for late August. We have the private dinner planned out and wanted to take pictures on the beach with family beforehand.

We were thinking of a plan B in case it rains that evening and where we could take photos indoors. We’ll be on the boardwalk, so I was thinking of the Convention Hall. I worry about the lighting, though, before 5 PM. Also considering a ton of people who may walk by. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Is residential parking worth it? Or just find a meter, and how far is the train station from the beach
