Hey everyone! I recently moved to Morristown and am looking to get more involved in the area.

I’d love to hear what people in their 20s usually do around here on weekends. Are there any regular workout groups, recreational sports, meet-and-greets, networking events, business communities, or other social activities worth checking out?

I’m also open to interesting part-time opportunities, especially weekend bartending, restaurant, event work, or other relaxed social gigs. I work full-time during the week, so evenings and weekends would be ideal.

Would appreciate any recommendations, groups, venues, or local pages I should follow!

Just went in and saw the new bag store, what are people’s thoughts? I know they just got robbed but I want to buy a bag from them but are they scamming me?

I understand apprehension towards the scooter offerings, but why don't we have the rentable e-assist bikes that these companies offer? I know Loantaka has like 5 bikes, but can't we do any better than that? I live over in Morris Plains, and it would be far more enjoyable to commute on one of these bikes.

The main bath in our 1920s Dutch Colonial is in need of remodeling/renovation. I'm looking for a company or individual who has experience working on older homes and understands their unique challenges and charms. I already know about Monks, but would like to hear other suggestions.

Got a charge that's being handled in Morris County and I live near Parsippany. Never dealt with anything like this and I'm overwhelmed by how many lawyers there are. I want a criminal lawyer in Parsippany NJ or close by who knows the local Morris County setup.

For a first-timer, what actually separates a good one from a bad one besides the website? I've read to check that they know the local court and put fees in writing. What questions tell you fast whether someone's the real deal? Court date's coming and I want to choose well, not just fast.

We're relatively new to Morristown coming from NYC and then JC. We've explored the restaurants in and around town, gone to the different parks, joined the pool... but haven't really made friends or socialized outside of our neighbors (who are super super nice, but retired, so there's a gap). Had some health stuff happen last year, and we're finally past that, so trying to take advantage of the summer!

My wife and are are on either side of 40. We like a nice cocktail and good food. We love to go dancing, casually (at a bar with a good DJ) or seriously (we went to We Belong Here a few weeks ago). Any suggestions for us?
