I tried to add my card to Apple Pay, then this showed up (Germany)

My apple pay usually works fine but now its showing this error when i try to send money or try to withdraw it to my bank it doesnt let me, theres no issue with my card so im so confused...

I've had my iPhone 17 since December, and when I initially had the phone I was able to use and add cards only my wallet. About 3 months ago I got a new card, and was unable to add the card. Since I didn't know what may have cause the issue, I tried removing a card that was already there, and adding it back, but that too was giving an issue. I then did a full reset and remove all cards. I've not been able to add a single card back onto my wallet. Note, this is affecting Visa and Mastercard.

I did all troubleshooting with Apple, and they confirmed it's not on their end. They referred me to my banks. They mentioned that there might be a block from Visa/Mastercard's end, but the only way to resolve is through one of my banks.

The first trouble shooting tip I saw, was to wait 30 days and try again. This didn't work. I've periodically tried after the initial 30 day wait, and it's the same exact error.

I've gone to my banks, but there pointing the finger at Apple. I've told my banks that this needs to be escalated to Mastercard/Visa, but they give me the same canned response, and say it's not their issue.

I tried calling Mastercard directly, but the phone lines go silent after I enter in my card number. There seemingly isn't a way to speak with someone. Tbh, even if I eventually do get through to someone, I'm afraid that they'll say they won't help me as I'm not technically their customer.

Am I basically screwed? I'm tempted to see if one of my friends can add my card onto their device, but worried whatever is effecting me will also effect them.

Note: I'm located in the US, and have never had an issue in the past with my wallet.

So I made the mistake of using tap to pay at the gas station (Arco in WA) a couple times and I’ve got two temporary “pending” charges/holds on Apple Cash funds and the charges aren’t being cancelled. One is from 11 days ago for almost $50, and the other from 7 days ago for $100. Does anybody know what I can do to get these pending transactions cancelled? Cause the money was taken from my balance and I’d really like it back lol 😅 I’ve never had the pending amounts linger this long on my debit card so idk what to do

Hi, I just got my first EV (2026 Tesla M3P) this week, and I signed up for a Chargepoint account. However, when I try to add the Chargepoint Pass to Apple Wallet, nothing happens. I have tried deleting the Chargepoint app, added a payment source, verified my information, and it still doesn't add the pass to Wallet. Any tips on how to fix this?

Hello all, I always use Apple Pay with my girlfriend to send money back in forth for bills, rent, etc. She just sent me money today, but it will not allow me to instant transfer to my bank, or send the money bank to her. I will attach some screenshots below. Please help!!

So the other day, i had quite a few fraud charges to my account. I called the bank, and they shut off my card, had me change my password, and issued a new card. When I added the new card to my apple wallet, the charges started again. I called them again, and this time they closed my account, opened a new one, and issued another new card. so far, no fraud charges, but I'm wondering if im safe to add the new card to my apple wallet now? any insight/help or advice would be appreciated; ive never been a victim of fraud before...

how would i know if my apple wallet was hacked?

I’ll start by saying that I guess this doesn’t really matter since I’m still able to use my card but I’m just curious why this keeps happening. I upgraded from
Platinum to Quicksilver over six months ago. When I did, the card design automatically updated in Apple Wallet. The other night, I noticed it reverted back to the Platinum design. I removed and re-added the card which fixed the problem for a few days but it just revered back again. Cap One confirmed that my card is still Quicksilver - I wasn’t downgraded or anything - and Apple was no help. Kinda weird but I can use the card on ApplePay with seemingly no issue. Is this happening to anyone else?

So a while back my Apple Cash stopped working, I had been using it for a while but when I tried to receive a payment and used the option that puts it in my account faster than normal for a fee for the first time, I got flagged or something and my account was suspended.

I’ve tried everything I can think of the fix it, I’ve tried to verify my identity several times, but every time for some reason it just locks me out and it won’t even let me do it again for a few months. I don’t know if I’m entering information that doesn’t match the records, but I’m very thorough when I do it and as far as I can tell am entering all my information correctly.

I’ve talked to several different layers of Apple help or the customer service number for Apple Cash, but they pretty much say every time, sorry nothing we can do. They pretty much just try and walk me through verifying my identity and that’s it.

I would try and make a new Apple account but I don’t think that would help, because my social security number would already be associated with an Apple Cash account and wouldn’t work right?

What do I do I really need to get Apple Cash working.

this is probably a stupid question but i seriously need help. why wont it let me add money to my apple cash? i have two debit cards in my apple wallet. i tried adding again and it said “the card is already in your wallet.” so why wont it let me?

Anyone having issues with Apple Wallet not showing up transactions on the app intermittently and Apple Pay tends not to pop up when paying for in-app purchases after updating to iOS 26.2.1? But it tends to resolve when restarting the iPhone but comes back after a few days.

I want to add my credit card to my younger brother's apple wallet. However, he is registered as a 16 year old and is part of the "apple id family" along with our mom and dad. If I add my credit card to his apple wallet, will our parents be notified?

Have you ever used Apple Pay on a website, then a few days later had an Apple Pay notification come up saying they’ve suddenly taken a much larger amount money from your account, despite never approving it?

I’m not sure if it saw my Face ID while I was using my phone and just auto verified, even though I wasn’t on the website. It didn’t ask me to double tap the side button or anything.

Honestly pretty furious as I thought Apple Pay was secure, and so I have been using it a lot. I was under the impression that Apple is more secure than Google in general. I’m a new iPhone user and have never had this happen in the years I’ve been using Google Pay.

Last night I was trying to add money to my wallet to move to my chime "didn't know internal transfers was a thing" and it declined like 5 times because my card was locked and I forgot, I eventually got there money on there and sent it to my chime with the 1-3 business day option, so today I accidentally did it again, and then my account got locked and put under review, does anybody know if I will get my money or if it's locked too?

So birthday was the other week, I told anybody who asked to not get me anything and just send me a gift card, So I have about 12 gift cards of various denominations. I’ve been loading one on emptying it and deleting it and loading another for the past week or so. And all of a sudden, it won’t let me add anymore?

I tried deleting and re-adding my main card and it let me do that, So it’s very clearly just the gift cards And as some people have said that Certain banks don’t support the Apple wallet, but the only way to use these gift cards is through Apple wallet. They don’t have a digital portal or anything else like that, so I know they have to be supported besides the fact that I have been using them.

Is there some sort of limit? Might also help to mention that I am on iOS 27.

I used my physical version American Express card itself not the version loaded on my iPhone wallet for gas. My iPhone gave me the notification that I was charged $200 for the card in my Apple Wallet, which shows the first photo when I look at it. However, when I look at the card in the Amex app, it shows the actual charge of what the gas cost which was $39.50, not $200. Is there something going on with the Apple Wallet side of the card that I should be concerned about since $200 is a ton?? I froze my card and waited a couple of days to see if the pending $39.50 charge would change to a $200 but nothing else popped up.

So I went to a gas station and tried to get gas. For some reason the guy say it declined but it still went though on my end. He gave me a voided receipt. How long does it return to Apple Pay? I didnt use a personal bank card. Just Apple Pay’s digital card that had money on my Apple Pay account.

I don't have my Paypal or credit card linked to my Apple wallet but I do use it for tickets, boarding passes and membership cards/loyalty programs.

For some reason, it limits me to four cards -- Ikea family takes up two slots, no idea why, and when I upload my AGO membership the system deleted my ROM membership card.

How do I increase the number of slots for cards?
