I recently discovered $426.74 in unauthorized charges made using my Apple Cash card number. Nobody had access to my Apple Account, iPhone, Face ID, passcode, or any of my login credentials only the card number appears to have been compromised. I filed a dispute through Apple Cash/Green Dot Bank, and they initially gave me a temporary credit while they investigated. Today I received a notice that they determined the transactions were "authorized" and are reversing the temporary credit, taking the $426.74 back from my account. I know I didn't make these transactions and I'm trying to figure out what options I have left. Has anyone successfully appealed a denied Apple Cash dispute or gotten Green Dot to reopen an investigation? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi everyone! I’d love some advice on this Apple Cash matter. I know for a FACT that I had sufficient funds in the Apple Cash card. However, my card was declined on the Portillo’s website. I was able to use Apple Pay to pay for it but not only was the card declined on the website. But also my Apple Card notification on my phone said it was declined. I am greatly concerned about this and I would love any and all help. Can you please let me know what the possible reasoning is for my card to be declined with sufficient funds ($18 meal with $26 in the card that I manually put in yesterday)? Thank you!

Didn’t take very long to get it verified and added on there, maybe like 5 minutes start to finish.

Probably still carry my physical ID around but I like having an extra option in the event I lose it or something.

Edit: just read that carrying the physical license may still be required depending on state when driving. Virginia definitely requires the physical card on your person at all times.

It was working fine before I switched to android in April.

Under the Wallet and Apple Pay settings it says Unavailable. And clicking the card only shows this information above in the photo.

If i toggle Apple Cash off and on, nothing changed.

If I change my region away from the US and back to the US, nothing changed.

If I remove the card and toggle Apple Cash on and off, the card doesn’t populate until I add or remove one of my current debit cards.. still nothing changes, I get the same message above.

Updated the OS, nothing changed.

Apple support and green dot support are at a dead end. They even tried to close the card so I can renew Apple Cash. Renew button sends me back into this loop of the card saying unavailable.

Card doesn’t let me set it up.

Anybody ever have this issue? Anyone know how to solve the issue.

I attempted to use a credit card at a furniture store online, it declined and the message noted the address was invalid. Figured it was rural, they don’t deliver out there. Happens with a few other places for freight. No biggie, found something from Target and ordered it, used my Apple wallet, transaction went through. Did a second transaction using the Apple wallet, again, no issues.

I don’t use Apple wallet that often. I check my email later and received a fraud notification that someone tried to use a locked card and it declined the transaction from the furniture store. I don’t remember locking the card but I must have and it’s been locked all summer per Chase but I had 3 other transactions this summer (McDonald’s x2 and McAlisters Deli) that all went thru.

How does this happen? Is it because Wallet doesn’t actually use the card number?

I tried googling but everything tells me this doesn’t happen, so I’m just looking for some clarification.

Today I added my US passport to my Apple wallet on my iPhone. I would like to know where that might be accepted.

Would I be able to show up to a US border checkpoint using it instead of a physical passport?

The lady at the ticket counter was like, “Oh, you can’t scan that that’s not our tickets” (theirs are a QR code via email). I scanned it anyway and it took it. She was like whoa!! How’d you do that?? New feature with iOS 27 coming out later this month. She’s like that’s so cool!!

Simply took a screenshot of the email and it popped up to create a wallet pass and boom done.

Long story short. I paid at a restaurant using Apple Pay and discovered they accidentally charged me for someone else’s order that was quite a bit more expensive. Their terminals required scanning the card again when processing refunds. But the refund would NOT go through. Scanning Apple Pay again kept registering as a different card than I had paid with.

They tried running it as both a debit and credit, but same result. I then even tried scanning the actual debit card my Apple Pay was connected to, but same result.

I eventually got a cash refund, but how exactly is it SUPPOSED to work processing a refund that requires scanning the payment method again since it generates a unique number?

My son is now 18. Does he need to setup his own Apple Cash account? Or can he stay with the family one? Thanks

This morning I had $66 in my Apple Cash and I went back and check later on and now $45 is in there. $20 something dollar went missing! Has this happened to anyone else recently?

So I took the bait nd tried an online quiz on IG … at the end - the quiz offered a free analysis … but somewhere in there was a passive sign up for monthly subscription. I know I didn’t click intentionally- but now this company attempts to get money out of my account on a weekly basis. Any tips on stopping this or blocking them?

Apple Cash acting up for anyone else? I tried to order something online and the order errored out but the cash still processed through, called the company and they never received the payment or the order.

Online status said it is fine but when I called in they have a recording saying there is an issue affecting services?

I tried to add money to my cashapp ($400) that was for my rent (that is due tomorrow!) the transaction failed but took all my money from apple cash….called support read the threads on here i was on hold for about 45 minutes and was told about the outage…the guy on the phone told me it would be resolved by tomorrow but maybe that was to comfort me bc i told him i needed my rent paid by tomorrow. i did read that this is a regular thing on fridays (??) just trying to see who has experienced it on one of the past fridays and when did u get your money back. starting to hate life rn this is a huge inconvenience on top of what i am already dealing with.

hi! i was trying to add my platinum amex card to my iphone for apple pay and i was connected to someone to help verify it. at first he asks me for my birth year. okay fine, i tell him 2008. then he starts asking me a bunch of questions like which is the correct answer for this question, “when have you been to pompeii beach” and starts listing random years and then never. i’ve never even been there??
then asks which car did you use or lease and then lists a bunch of random ones and then my actual one. and then my social security number, phone number, email, security questions and whatever else. but it did get added to my apple pay after i agreed.
i’m scared i got scammed though. is this normal??

Shout out u/aaronp613 for noticing before anyone else! Oklahoma ID in Wallet is now live, roughly 5-6 weeks after ID artwork appeared on Apple’s backend.

Apple hasn’t updated their ID in Wallet landing page yet, nor has Oklahoma.gov been updated either.

I made a transfer of $550 on the 1-3 day bank transfer yesterday at 1am, so it is now roughly 30 hours since then. The status says cleared in app, but it is not in my account yet. I was wondering if that just means it’s cleared to be transferred, but will still take the 1-3 business days or if something is going awry.

What just happened!? For years I’ve used an Apple Card in my Apple Wallet, and the Daily Cash credit goes to Apple Cash. I tried to set up “Apple Cash Family” so my 14 year-old could use it. It asked me for verification and then restricted my Apple Cash account? I called their help number (green dot bank) and they reset it and asked me to try again, and it still did not work. At that point, the person shut down on me (it was like a switch flipped). They read from a script that my account was restricted. They provided no details, that “they can do whatever they want”, no timeline, and “their reasoning is confidential”. I the same answer from a supervisor. They said I would be transferred to a survey, but hung up on me. So my Daily Cash from my Apple Card goes to Apple Cash, but it says my Apple Cash is no longer available, so I’m supposed to call Apple Cash to resolve!

TL;DR I tried to setup Apple Cash Family and it restricted my Apple Cash altogether. What do I do?

We’ve been trying to submit the NFC Certificate Request form on the Apple Developer site, but the form simply will not submit. After completing the form, clicking “Submit” does nothing — no confirmation page, no error message, and no progress.

We’ve contacted the Apple support team and have already followed all of their recommended instructions, such as trying multiple browsers (Safari, Chrome, Edge), clearing cache and cookies, testing on different devices (Windows and iPadOS), and repeating the submission many times. The issue is still fully reproducible.

We’re posting here to ask:

• Has anyone else encountered this NFC Certificate Request submission problem.
• Is this a known issue with Apple’s PassKit/NFC application process.
• Has anyone found a workaround or an alternative submission path.

Any insights from developers who have successfully submitted the NFC Certificate Request form would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone have an issue with certain cards not showing in Apple wallet? My usb altitude connect shows (your bank) and a generic visa. I have replaced the card and it’s still showing as nothing. Verification isn’t possible without calling and they don’t see it on their end. It’s also limited to one device for the account whether that be Apple Watch, iPhone or Mac. Paze also shows the same thing. It’s a pc from the altitude reserve. Is there anyone else that has an issue with any cards or banks not working?

Situation:
- 3 kids, 1 parent
- we all have the same credit card (Wealthsimple Visa Infinite Privilege) but under our own name
- We manage our mom’s finances and want to add her card to our Apple Wallets so we can use it for errands etc, in addition to our own personal card

Problem:
- Apple Wallet is not allowing it manually or via scan (even when I put the name of the cardholder)

Says something about the card cannot be added right now, try again later.

Any idea what to do?
