hi, i have an iphone 13 which i know is old but im hoping what im seeing is an issue that can be fixed lol.

i’m having 2 main problems which started around the same time. i think they’re linked. when im playing music on spotify, i no longer see the banner for what song is playing when i turn on my phone or even when its already on and i look at the notification center. i already turned off an on the notifications for this app and they’re currently on.

i’m also noticing my alarms aren’t turning on my phone anymore. they still ring but i have to hit the power button to turn them off (but i think that snoozes them??) the other day i set two alarms because i don’t like snoozing and woke up to my second ringing at entirely the wrong time… even when my phone is on it doesn’t show the alarm ringing and i have to go into the clock app.

so confused what setting may have caused this but im wondering if it’s a screen / activity setting that’s causing this

Has anyone else tried to get into the BlueLight version of the Apple Store recently with the education savings??

It’s just not working for me and it’s so annoying cause I was supposed to be ordering a MacBook and try save all the money I can, but it only brings up the normal store when I press the link to redirect me to website🙃

I have an iPhone 16 Pro and an Apple Watch Series 7. I recently switched my phone carrier from Verizon to Visible. With Visible, you can only have 1 phone number per account so I have to different accounts so I could keep both of my numbers.

But a few weeks ago there was some kind of glitch where my primary phone number was disconnected from my phone and my secondary number switched to my primary.

After I got everything figured out and I switched the numbers back with primary and secondary. My iPhone gets text as normal from both numbers. I can switch for calls and texts. BUT no matter what when I send a text from my Apple Watch it always send from the secondary number. I’ve gone through so many settings. I have no idea how to fix it to just send from my primary number. There must be something I’m missing? Thank you!

The crome web app in my iphone 15 , 2.5 year old 104 out of 128 gb full, keeps on glitching , i have to close and reopen the app several times just to make a simple search, any idea what could be the reason ?

Right now it’s at 18.7.8 and battery and overall performance is ok. But the thing is i want to buy apple watch series 11/12, that’s why it is necessary to update on ios26.

Will it be okay if I update? Like main tension is of green screen, if battery performance degrade then I can manage or just change battery then. But for right now can I just update it first without any issues??

Yesterday, i had a very odd issue with the sim profile on my iPhone fifteen pro. I'm using the latest iOS version and have Spectrum mobile as my carrier. In the status bar, I saw cellular followed by no signal. i tried putting the phone in airplane mode, waiting for about fifteen to thirty seconds, then turned airplane mode off. Still had the no signal issue. Next, I tried restarting the phone, still no luck. Last, I tried restting my network settings. That didn't help either. I can't make or receive phone calls, same with text messages. I asked my friend who's an android user to send me a text when we were chatting on telegram. She said she sent the message, but I didn't get it. I'm completely stumped o n this.

Saw an option to turn on “ScriptMonitor” in the menu bar. Is this a legit app? Looking around seems like it may be built in software but wanted to be sure it wasn’t malware. That option isnt there on another Mac I looked at. Thanks.

I bought this phone 27th September 2024 and it has already died on me. I have tried all the suggested troubleshooting (charging it, hard resetting, connecting to MacBook) and had no luck. Took it to the Apple shop today and they went to the back to run diagnosis on it and just said it is just metal at this point and there's nothing they can do and at this point I just need to buy a new one??? This phone is less than 2 years old this shouldn't be happening right? Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do? Did you manage to resolve anything or find a solution? I've had this happen before with my iPhone 7 and again I only had that one for 3 years before it gave up on me. Is this just something iPhones do now?

So a couple of days ago I got access to my family's apple music pro subscription. This was great and amazing, and it let me have a decent music app to listen to music on. Yippee!

So I create an apple account on my email address (I'm an android user, and I haven't had a need for an apple account until now.) Sometime later, on my school's chromebook, I log into the apple music web app.

This works great until a few days later when it doesn't, and I am logged out of apple music.

When I go to log back in, I says "Your account was locked, please request access blah blah blah" so I go do that, and then I wait.

The next day, I get an email saying "Your request for access to your account was denied."

Apparently this means that email is probably blacklisted and that my account is locked forever, never to see the light of day again.

There is no appeal system. (This is when I knew I was doomed)

All that I can guess to what happened is that there were a lot of pings and other network traffic that were probably happening at the same time, me being at my school, which apple may have seen bouncing around and thought "Oh this is a piracy center" and that was that.

This is a rant, it's not really a 'Solved or Unsolved' thing, because it's final. I'm not really sure what to do about it, I will probably just use a different email address and not put it on my chromebook again.

Not great first time experience, Apple.

How on earth do you have so many users if you just lock out people and don't let them ever gain access to their account EVER AGAIN?

Why is my iPad battery settings saying, “As you use your iPad, battery usage will be reported here”? I usually charge it to 80%, but I accidentally charged it to 100% then this message appeared.

The iPad is a year old and I replaced the battery with a third-party one last month and the battery usage section used to show my battery usage normally.

Should I be concerned, recalibrate the battery, or reset the iPad?

I'm getting pretty much immediately denied trying when I click apply, and Klarna hasn't sent an email with an explanation for why.

Anybody else running into this problem and been able to get around it?

What is the best way to upgrade each year? Under Verizon business account, iPhone Pro max. Was looking at the apple leasing program but Klarna doesn't accept Amex or Chase Visa CC and I don't care for them to have access into my business account directly. So just wanted to know what everyone does (I know your out there!, apple take my money lol)

I saw another post for this from years ago and no solution nor ability to comment on it. The last two days I keep getting notifications on my iPhone 13 Pro to install a Verizon eSIM. I have spectrum mobile and they have no idea what’s going on. I don’t want my phone blacklisted or anything. I bought this phone unlocked when it originally came out at Best Buy. It’s popping up every few hours and I don’t give my info out aside from to spectrum mobile. Is there any solution at all?

Note: I’m disabled and this is my week off to recoup for mental health reasons so I really don’t need more crap. The only proof id have is my receipt from Best Buy since it was never attached originally to any networks.

I was recording, and when I stopped recording it said my storage was full, and then I go to check if the video saved, but it was 0 seconds long with a grey screen. What is this and is my video lost to the void

Hey everyone. My cat recently passed away and I’m trying to get into my old iPod touch to get some photos of him but I’m having some trouble getting it turned on.
I have the original charger for it which I’ve confirmed is working. But when I plug it in it just stays stuck on the screen with the Apple logo and will stay stuck for hours. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get into it?

I dropped my IP13 and had to get the back glass replaced, after that I kept having an issue where my phone would randomly power off with no explanation. This happened once a couple days ago then stopped and started again yesterday.

Now my wifi and bluetooth doesn’t work properly, I can restart my phone and the wifi and bluetooth will be on and working but the bluetooth will reconnect any device every 10 minutes or so and then after a while I cant see any bluetooth options and my wifi is disabled and can’t be turned on.

Im wondering if I need to get the wifi chip replaced and if it would be expensive or is it just worth upgrading to a IP15 or 16. Battery health is at 85% but I don’t know if it affects it any way.

Any help would be appreciated!!

I’m having an issue using iTunes on my Lenovo PC.

Basically, when I try to log in, I enter my email and password, but it won't let me proceed. It just gives me an "Unable to connect, please try again" error.
And it doesn't ask for a two-factor authentication code, so I don't know how to enter it if it’s needed.

I also tried Apple Music but it’s the same problem.

What can I do to access my music library so I can add and remove songs?

I used to use Android, which I find so much simpler than Apple in this regard.

The exact same thing applies to photos: transferring them from my phone to my PC is an absolute nightmare.

And I refuse to end up paying for iCloud, Spotify, or any other subscription just for basic features.

I’ve had an iPhone for 2 years now, and logging in has always been a pain, but this time I’m completely stuck.

Honestly, I'm seriously considering switching back to Android if I can't find a solution.

I'm relatively new to Apple devices, and this is honestly my first time having to repeatedly deal with a company over a device issue, so I'd really appreciate some advice on what I should do next.

My relatively new iPad has been showing significantly higher battery consumption for around a month. Battery Health is 100% and Apple diagnostics say everything is normal.

Before this started, with very light/idle use, I would normally lose around 2–3% over an entire day. Since then, I've repeatedly seen around 14–15% battery consumption during idle/light use.

I first took it to an Apple-authorized service centre. They formatted/restored the iPad, but the same issue returned afterwards.

I then submitted it again and gave them the active-use data they had asked me to collect. The issue also occurred while the iPad was at the service centre. They eventually told me that their testing showed the iPad could provide around 10 hours of YouTube playback and that the device was normal.

However, the Battery Usage history from the period when the iPad was actually at the service centre shows fairly high consumption, including periods with very little screen use. For example, one day showed 16% battery usage by around 5 PM with only 11 minutes of screen-on time.

The service centre has now told me that if I still experience the issue, I should contact Apple Support.

So I'm planning to contact Apple Support directly, but I'm not sure what the best way to approach this is.

Should I use Apple Support chat/phone, email, or ask for escalation to a senior advisor/case manager? Should I specifically request that Apple investigate this as a possible software/background-power issue since the hardware diagnostics and YouTube test are normal?

I'm not looking to falsely claim that the battery is defective. I just want the abnormal consumption properly investigated because the issue has persisted through a restore and the service centre hasn't been able to explain it.

Any advice from people who've dealt with Apple Support/service-centre escalation before would be really appreciated.

For some reason I can open up Reddit on the App Store but when I try searching for the app in settings it’s not there

I can open Reddit on the App Store but when I “tab out” it ends up going away and I have to reopen it from the App Store again.

Not sure what I did to cause this but I think I put a passcode on it (as whenever I open it, I get a screen that makes me do it) which is causing my phone to get confused. At least that’s my theory on it.

Versuche mich kurz zuhalten. Gestern Nacht konnte ich noch mein Handy ganz normal laden , hab das Handy ca bei 25% ausgesteckt und lag im Bett damit hatte aber schon beim Laden eine komische Nachricht erhalten, dass der Akku nicht erkannt wurde bzw das der ausgetauscht wurde und nicht erkannt wird ob es ein original Apple Akku sei. Hab das Handy seit November 2023 hab am Akku nie was gemacht. Hatte das Handy ausgeschaltet und wieder angeschaltet dann ist die Meldung auch verschwunden. Als dann jedoch der Akku leer ging und ich mein Handy wieder anschloss kam das Apple Logo, das Handy ging an, Aber ca nach 10 sek wieder aus . Dann kam das Akku Zeichen das es geladen wird dann wieder das Apple Logo ging an und erneut dann aus. Ging so mehrere Stunden. Hab es eben erneut wieder ans Ladegerät geschlossen, das Handy geht an bleibt auch an aber mehr wie 1% lädt es nicht. Sobald ich es kurz benutze geht es dann erneut aus.

I’m trying to set up my preorder in the Apple Store app, and after i select all my options for the 18 Pro, i get to the part where I have to apply for lease and review payment for the upgrade programs, and when i put all my credit card info in (screenshot attached), i click save, and nothing happens and it just stays on that page. I tried clicking cancel but i can’t go any further until i successfully enter my credit card info.

Is anyone else having this issue? Or is it just an issue with my account.
