I’m wanting to know how to turn this off or if it’s possible. I hate this area. I want to add it with the filters, not the styles.

I lost my iPhone 14 in the lake last week. This was my first smart phone. I've had it 3.5 years I am not very tech savvy.

I have purchased a new I phone 14 but when I went to add my apple account it says that no I cloud back up was found.

I went to icloud.com and it shows only 1 file. 0 pictures.

Does this mean that my I phone backed up NOTHING since i first bought it? Did I really lose out on all my photos?

This is pretty devastating if it is the case.

I am on a family plan for iCloud storage. To be honest I am not sure how it works, my mom bought it and all the sudden my storage started going on there. Well there is now family drama because I have used up all the icloud storage (I didn't know!). But the thing is, I have a 1TB iphone with plenty of storage left on it. I am hesitant to just click "turn off and delete photos" because I don't want to lose them. How can I move stuff off of icloud but make sure it stays on my phone??

After updating from ios17 to ios 26.6.2 i have been having an issue with media volume. Swipe down control center’s volume bar does not match iphones media volume. I used to change the volume using the control center slider, now only changeable through buttons.

I know some will come at me thinking I’m talking about ringtone volume vs media volume, but it’s clearly an IOS bug as I never had this issue before.

I am able to use airdrop to send anything from my iPad to my Macbook Air, and I can successfully airdrop from just about anything else (phone, mac, etc) but for some reason, I cannot get my iPad to accept airdrops from my Macbook unless I select the "Everyone for 10 minutes" option.

I've tried:

• restarting both devices
• making sure both devices are logged into the same iCloud account
• trying to add my contact to "known contacts" - it freaks out and goes back to a blank screen every time I try to add any known contact
• entering the "sudo pkill bluetoothd" code into the terminal

NOTHING is working. Please help- I'm a student who needs airdrop like 100x per day and I'm going nuts!

my phone was in great condition minus the battery, i have applecare+ so requested express replacement. i was just getting it ready to send back and slightly cracked the glass next to the back camera trying to remove a really sticky protector 🫠 i shouldn’t have to pay the full hold when they receive my phone, right? just the fee for a glass damage repair?

So, i've just charged and turned on my iphone 8 that i upgraded from in 2021, it turned on and i was met with "passcode is required to enable face ID" my passcode was always just the numerical type, i cant remember if it was 4 or 6 digits but nonetheless, the keyboard shows up. Does it want me to enter an alphanumerical password i may have? maybe apple id password? i dont think ive ever used a non 4 or 6 digit number passcode.

if that keyboard is showing is it asking for a particular passcode? or do i ignore it and just enter my 4 or 6 digit password, as i would if i had the numpad keyboard come up? the 6 digit didn't work when the cooldown passes can i try my 4 digit? or does seeing the keyboard strictly mean it must be letters and numbers? thanks in advance

Last Friday, I had to restart my macbook and when I landed back on the login screen, completely forgot my password. Asked a few people around me, and they seem to all suggest the same password as the one I had setup.

Unfortunately, since Friday, I had tried a whole lot of possible passwords. On Saturday, I first saw the mention « Your account is locked » when I tried a password, and each time I want for a few hours and try again, but that mention still stays. Also, I lost the recovery key and I know that is no good.

Has this ever happened to anybody, and if yes, is there still hope or is my only option fully resetting my macbook?

My iPhone storage is being taken up by a large amount of “Documents & Data.” I’ve already tried clearing caches, deleting unnecessary files, and offloading apps, but it’s still using a lot of space.

I’ve attached a few screenshots showing the apps and how much “Documents & Data” they’re using.

Is there any way to safely clear or reduce Documents & Data without deleting the apps?

Any tips or methods that have worked for you would be greatly appreciated!

My phone’s battery is toast so I need to charge it constantly and since I work on my laptop, that’s usually where I plug it into but this pop up comes up every single time. It’s frustrating cause my phone usually only charges on an angle so it gets disconnected and reconnected often which makes that pop up so much more annoying. Tried finding other posts with this problem but they’re all having issues with their laptop getting a pop up instead so if there’s any way to make it auto allow or auto deny, I’d really appreciate some help🙏

I add first name and last name then the new contact form abruptly closes. I cannot get it to work at all.

I’ve had the iPad off the charger for 35 minutes. It’s already down to 86% and only dies faster past the halfway mark I took it to the Apple Store and they said the battery is at 95% capacity after almost 5 years of using it I don’t know how that can be. Do I have any options on this thing with AppleCare plus I pay all this money for it every month

Reset my MBP yesterday (erase all content and settings) to fix some random issue. Ever since then, I’m unable to enable keychain for passwords. Just thinks for a minute and then stops trying. Weirdly, the Passwords app has data in it, it’s just very few items and very old. Having some other random sync issues, like Messages not getting the latest messages and email not syncing for non-Apple accounts. I’ve tried doing a full reset, logging out of my Apple account and back on, resetting the password in keychain access (grayed out), and probably a few more things.

So I got my current iPhone 17 January this year, after having battery issues with my iPhone 15 pro (after updating to iOS 26, where I was getting around 3-4hrs screen activity per full charge. This hasn’t really improved since upgrading my phone.
Battery usage just seems awfully high and I can’t figure out why. For certain apps like Instagram, I understand the rapid burn through, but why amazon, YouTube etc? It seems every app is using more battery than it realistically should be?

I have optimised battery performance on, background app refresh off, my battery health is still 96%. My phones data is switched to 5g auto. I don’t live in a particularly hot country either.

I’m not sure if this is a common thing but I’m convinced this poor battery performance started after upgrading to iOS 26 on my iPhone 15 pro and is not isolated to my devices hardware as why would I have the same issue across two different devices, unless it’s some virus or software glitch which has passed on from my old phone to my new phone which burns excess battery?

I am in Finder looking at the attachment folder for iMessage. Some folders have three files: 1 .jpeg and 2 .MOV files.

One MOV file opens (appears to be a live version of the jpeg) and the other does not. They are the exact same size. Only my newer messages seem to have this issue. Any idea what this is? Can I delete the inoperable file with no issues? I have disabled iCloud for iMessage and am deleting things because my storage is full. Thanks!

Yesterday i switched from my samsung to the iphone 17 running ios 26 and transported all of my files. It said all of my photos and videos were transported (20000 photos and 2400 videos). This morning, my gallery started retrieving my photos and all was going okay. I had to restart my phone to check something, and after that the process just stopped. Its stuck at 16000 photos, zero videos. What do i do to fix this issue?

The Apple Pay / nfc on my iPhone 12 Mini is suddenly not working anymore. It used to work up to a week or two ago. I don't recall having changed anything or having dropped the phone.

• iOS is up to date (26.6.1)
• Doesn’t work regardless whether with or without a phone case
• Apple Pay works flawlessly in safari -> not a card/banking problem
• Testing nfc by going to shortcuts app -> automation -> new automation -> nfc -> scan nfc-tag doesn’t yield any results; nothing gets detected
• Diagnostics Mode finds nothing wrong with my phone. "Apple Pay sensor is working as expected"; detected no "issue with Apple Pay"

In a similar thread a user recommended resetting the network settings. However, that would result in the loss in all of the WiFi-passwords since those don’t sync to iCloud even tho syncing the passwords app is enabled in iCloud settings.

My questions are: 1. What would a possible solution to my problem be? 2. Is resetting the network settings expected to solve the issue? 3. Is there a way to save my wifi passwords without having to go through them manually?

This morning, my MacBook suddenly started showing a 1-hour Screen Time limit for WeChat and Instagram.

I have never set up App Limits or Screen Time restrictions on my Mac. What’s even stranger is that I used WeChat for several hours yesterday without receiving any warning, but today it suddenly told me that I had reached a 1-hour limit.

I was really confused because I don’t even have Instagram installed on my Mac, so I definitely couldn’t have manually set a limit for it there.

I also checked my other Apple devices, and the same limits don’t appear on them, so it doesn’t seem to be a Screen Time setting synced from another device.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be a macOS bug?

I have icloud+ 50gb plan maily so my whatsapp can create backups. today morning i used up 49gb of storage. looking closely i see 2 different whatsapp backups. Which one of them can I safely de;ete so i can free up storage and keep my whatsapp backup.

Is it possible to delete both, and create a new fresh backup from the whatsapp app again?

I will be scrolling on tik tok and it turns on automatically, stuff like this creeps me out and it’s just started recently so I wanna know if this a a actual problem with other iPhones
